What is SaucerSwap (SAUCE)?
SAUCE is the token associated with SaucerSwap, a decentralized exchange protocol built for Hedera. The exchange uses automated market-maker pools: SaucerSwap V1 uses a constant-product model, while V2 adds concentrated liquidity. The project also describes V2 as offering an order book. SAUCE is not the same thing as HBAR, Hedera’s network token; it is used within SaucerSwap’s own ecosystem.
The protocol’s contracts are described as non-upgradable, and SaucerSwap uses the Hedera Token Service. The project says Hedera’s transaction ordering helps reduce the scope for certain maximal extractable value (MEV) attacks. That design claim does not remove the broader risks of using DeFi, including smart-contract bugs, pool losses, and changes in market conditions. SAUCE holders should distinguish protocol features from guarantees about safety or returns.
What is SAUCE used for?
SAUCE has three stated roles in the SaucerSwap ecosystem. Holders can participate in SaucerSwap DAO governance and vote on proposals, including matters such as protocol upgrades and incentive alignment. SAUCE is also used to incentivize liquidity in SaucerSwap V1 and V2 pools, with incentives governed by the Masterchef smart contract.
The token can also be staked. SaucerSwap describes staking rewards as coming from a share of trading fees, HBAR staking rewards, and emissions distributed through an automated buyback mechanism. The amount a participant receives can vary, and staking does not guarantee a profit. Token emissions, pool activity, fee levels, contract operation, and SAUCE’s market price can all affect outcomes. Before staking, check the current protocol terms and understand any withdrawal rules and transaction costs. Governance participation also does not give each holder equal influence: voting power depends on the rules in effect and the amount of voting-eligible SAUCE.
Supply, market figures, and networks
SAUCE has a reported maximum and total supply of 1 billion tokens. Circulating supply was about 929.9 million as of 2026-11-05. These figures do not by themselves explain how any tokens outside circulation are held or when they might enter circulation, so check current project disclosures for allocation and release details.
On 2026-11-05, SAUCE traded at about $0.0101, with a market capitalization of about $9.3 million and fully diluted valuation of about $10.1 million. These are time-sensitive market figures, not fixed properties of the token. Its price can move sharply, and historical performance does not predict future value. SAUCE was reported as issued on Hedera and Base. Because network support and token representations can differ, confirm the exact network and token contract in a reliable wallet or exchange interface before sending funds.
Risks and storage
SAUCE carries the risks of a volatile crypto asset and of participating in a decentralized finance protocol. Its market price and liquidity can change quickly. Providing liquidity may expose users to losses relative to simply holding tokens, while staking and governance depend on smart contracts and the protocol’s rules. SaucerSwap describes its contracts as non-upgradable; that may limit certain changes after deployment, but it does not prove that the contracts are free of vulnerabilities or operational risks.
Use a wallet that explicitly supports the network and token representation you intend to hold, and keep recovery credentials private and offline. Verify the destination network and token contract before making a transfer; sending a token to an unsupported network or address can result in loss. Never share a recovery phrase or approve a transaction you do not understand. Consider starting with a small test transfer when appropriate, and remember that self-custody means you are responsible for securing access to your funds.
By the numbers
SaucerSwap in numbers
SaucerSwap (SAUCE) is ranked #1,319 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $8.77M and a price of $0.009428 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $9.43M, so roughly 93% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 10.8% over 7 days, down 26.4% over 30 days, down 72.6% over the past year. It trades about 96% below its all-time high of $0.2335, set on Feb 29, 2024.
About 929.88M SAUCE are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 1B (93% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $79.5K, or 0.9% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
SAUCE has token contracts on 2 chains we track, including Hedera, Base. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
SAUCE is linked to Saucerswap, which we cover in our DEXes rankings. See our Saucerswap page for how the protocol works and how we score it.

SAUCE FAQs
What is SAUCE used for?
SAUCE is used for SaucerSwap DAO governance, liquidity incentives, and staking. The protocol says staking can provide a share of trading fees, HBAR staking rewards, and emissions through an automated buyback mechanism, but rewards are not guaranteed.
What is the supply of SAUCE?
SaucerSwap reports a maximum and total supply of 1 billion SAUCE. About 929.9 million were circulating as of 2026-11-05; circulation and market figures can change.
Which networks support SAUCE?
SAUCE is reported as issued on Hedera and Base, while SaucerSwap itself is a Hedera-focused exchange. Confirm the network and token contract before transferring, since sending assets on an unsupported network can lead to loss.
Is SAUCE staking risk-free?
SAUCE is a crypto asset with market, liquidity, smart-contract, and protocol risks. Staking or providing liquidity can involve additional risks, and neither activity guarantees a return.
How should I store SAUCE?
Use a wallet that explicitly supports the network and SAUCE representation you hold. Keep recovery credentials private, verify addresses and networks before sending, and never approve transactions you do not understand.
What is the market cap of SaucerSwap?
As of Nov 6, 2026, SaucerSwap had a market cap of about $8.77M, ranking #1,319 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
