What Pear Protocol is
Pear Protocol is a decentralized trading platform built around pair trading. Instead of trading one asset against U.S. dollars, a user takes a long position in one token and a short position in another within a single on-chain transaction. The project's own description gives the example of going long SOL and short ADA to express a view that Solana will outperform Cardano. Users post collateral in stablecoins, mainly USDC, and can use leverage on some pairs, with up to 60x described on certain markets. Public reporting describes the platform as a DeFi-native terminal for trading one token against another, and the project has also said it extends beyond crypto into other asset classes. The PEAR token is the project's flagship token, and it trades in the market as a separate asset from the platform's trading products.
What the PEAR token is used for
Public sources provided do not give a full token design, so the exact role of PEAR inside the platform is not fully documented here. A project post found in public reporting says PEAR holders and users of Pear products can receive trading discounts, and that the project runs buybacks, with one post citing 70% of something being used for buybacks. Those statements are promotional and may change, and the project does not include the mechanics, funding source or duration. Readers should treat them as claims to verify against the project's current published terms rather than as settled features. Beyond these points, this page does not describe governance rights, staking or fee sharing because public sources do not establish them.
Supply and market data
At the time of writing, as of 2026-11-05, the data shows a price of about $0.0207 per PEAR and a market capitalization of about $10.6 million, ranked 1214 by market cap. The fully diluted valuation is about $17.7 million. Circulating supply is about 513.9 million tokens, while total and maximum supply are both about 852.2 million, so roughly 338 million tokens are not yet circulating. The all-time high was about $0.0927 on 2024-12-04, and the all-time low was about $0.00497 on 2025-05-01. Over the past seven days the price fell about 29.5%, and over one year it rose about 38.3%. The 24-hour trading volume was about $22,781, which is thin for a token of this size. These figures change constantly and are not a forecast.
Chains and where it is issued
PEAR is issued on Arbitrum and on Hyperliquid's L1, and the data lists no native chain for it, meaning it is a token issued on other networks rather than the base asset of a chain. Public reporting says the token went live on HyperEVM, the EVM environment on Hyperliquid, and a Hyperliquid integration was announced in July 2025. Its listed categories include decentralized exchanges, exchange tokens, perpetuals and the Arbitrum and Hyperliquid ecosystems. Because the same token exists on more than one network, check which version you are looking at, since bridges and wrapped versions can differ in contract address and liquidity. The launch date and consensus details are not given publicly supplied, so they are not stated here.
Risks and storing PEAR safely
Leveraged long and short positions can lose value quickly, and a position can be liquidated if collateral falls below required levels. Pair trades reduce exposure to overall market direction but still carry the risk that the chosen pair moves against you. PEAR itself is a volatile, low-liquidity token with a recent weekly drop, so price swings can be sharp and selling may be hard at a fair price. Smart contract bugs, bridge problems and the project's own execution are additional risks. Some markets offer high leverage, and readers must be 18 or older, or 21 or older where local rules require it, and should confirm that online trading or gambling-style products are legal where they live. Do not use a VPN or any other way around location, age or identity checks. For storage, keep small test amounts in a self-custody wallet you control, verify the contract address from official project channels, never share your seed phrase, and avoid signing approvals you do not understand. This page is research, not financial advice.
