## What is Reservoir (DAM)?

Reservoir (DAM) is the token associated with Reservoir Protocol, a decentralized finance project focused on stablecoins, yield products and lending markets. The protocol offers rUSD, a stablecoin, along with srUSD and trUSD, which are described as yield-bearing assets. These products are distinct from DAM: holding DAM does not, by itself, mean you hold rUSD or earn the yield associated with Reservoir’s other assets.

Reservoir describes its protocol as permissionless and designed to use digital and real-world assets as backing. Its products and lending markets are intended for DeFi use, including collateralized borrowing. The project says its protocol services are available across 17 chains, while DAM itself is reported as issued on Ethereum, Berachain, Solana and BNB Chain. That distinction matters when checking which asset or network you are using.

DAM is not a stablecoin, and its price can move independently of rUSD. The token’s market price does not establish whether Reservoir’s stablecoin products maintain their intended value or deliver a particular yield.

## What is DAM used for?

DAM is the token linked to Reservoir Protocol. Public descriptions associate it with staking and additional rewards, and some describe it as a governance token. However, public sources do not set out the full staking terms, reward source, voting process or specific decisions token holders can influence. Treat these uses as a starting point for research, not as a promise of income or governance rights.

The protocol’s central products are rUSD, srUSD and trUSD, not DAM. Reservoir presents rUSD as a stablecoin, srUSD as a liquid yielding asset and trUSD as a term-based yielding asset. Users may also access permissionless lending markets. These products have separate mechanisms and risks; DAM ownership alone does not provide exposure to their collateral or returns.

Before staking or using a Reservoir market, check the current protocol documentation for supported assets, eligibility, lockups, withdrawal timing, fees and reward conditions. A reported 14-day unbonding period appears in public token information, but terms can change. Confirm the current rules in the official interface before committing tokens.

## Supply, price and supported chains

DAM has a stated maximum and total supply of 1 billion tokens. The reported circulating supply was about 282.5 million as of 2026-11-05; circulating figures can change as tokens are distributed, unlocked or otherwise brought into circulation. The difference between circulating and maximum supply may matter when assessing dilution, but it does not predict future price performance.

DAM is reported as issued on Ethereum, Berachain, Solana and BNB Chain. Reservoir Protocol says its stablecoin and yield products are available across 17 chains, which is broader than the reported DAM issuance list. Do not assume DAM is available on every chain where a Reservoir product operates. Token representations, transfer routes and contract addresses can differ by network.

As of 2026-11-05, DAM’s price was about $0.00217, its market capitalization about $613,000 and its 24-hour trading volume about $366. These are time-sensitive figures, and low reported volume can make it harder to trade without affecting the price. Check the correct network and token contract before sending or interacting with DAM.

## Risks and how to store DAM

DAM carries the usual risks of a small DeFi token, including sharp price changes, limited liquidity, smart-contract vulnerabilities and changes to a project’s market or token rules. As of 2026-11-05, its reported 24-hour volume was about $366, a figure that suggests trading may be thin. A displayed market price may not be achievable for a large transaction, and losses are possible.

There are also risks specific to Reservoir’s products. Stablecoins can lose their intended peg; collateral can fall in value or become difficult to liquidate; lending markets can face bad debt; and yield can vary or stop. Real-world-asset arrangements may add legal, custody and counterparty risks. Neither the protocol’s description of its assets nor a token reward guarantees safety or a fixed return.

Store DAM in a wallet that supports the correct network and token standard. Keep recovery phrases and private keys offline and private, and verify the destination network and contract address through trusted Reservoir materials before transferring. Sending tokens to an incompatible network or address can result in permanent loss. Never share a recovery phrase to claim rewards or resolve a wallet issue.

By the numbers

Reservoir in numbers

Reservoir (DAM) is ranked #3,711 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $548K and a price of $0.001939 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $1.94M, so roughly 28% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.

The price was down 35.0% over 7 days, down 18.6% over 30 days, down 94.3% over the past year. It trades about 99% below its all-time high of $0.1489, set on Sep 18, 2025.

About 282.54M DAM are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 1B (28% issued).

24-hour trading volume was about $753, or 0.1% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

DAM has token contracts on 4 chains we track, including Ethereum, Berachain, Solana, BNB Chain. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

DAM is linked to Reservoir Protocol, which we cover in our CDPs rankings. See our Reservoir Protocol page for how the protocol works and how we score it.

DAM FAQs

What is Reservoir (DAM)?

DAM is the token associated with Reservoir Protocol. It is separate from the protocol’s rUSD stablecoin and its srUSD and trUSD yield products.

What is DAM used for?

Public descriptions associate DAM with staking and additional rewards, and some identify it as a governance token. The specific rights, reward terms and current availability should be checked in Reservoir’s current documentation.

What is the maximum supply of DAM?

The stated maximum supply is 1 billion DAM. About 282.5 million were reported in circulation as of 2026-11-05; circulating supply can change over time.

Which chains support DAM?

DAM is reported as issued on Ethereum, Berachain, Solana and BNB Chain. Check the exact network and token contract before transferring, since Reservoir products may be available on more chains than DAM itself.

How do I store DAM?

DAM can be held in a wallet that supports its network and token standard. Secure your recovery phrase, and verify the receiving address and network before sending; an incompatible transfer may be unrecoverable.

What is the market cap of Reservoir?

As of Nov 6, 2026, Reservoir had a market cap of about $548K, ranking #3,711 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of DAM?

Reservoir's all-time high is $0.1489, reached on Sep 18, 2025. Its all-time low is $0.001161 (Sep 14, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.

What is the circulating supply of DAM?

As of Nov 6, 2026, about 282.54M DAM were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 1B.

Which blockchains is DAM on?

It has token contracts on Ethereum, Berachain, Solana, BNB Chain.
