## What Nostra and NSTR are
Nostra describes itself as a crypto app for lending, borrowing, swapping and bridging digital assets. Its ecosystem includes Nostra Pools, an automated market maker (AMM) decentralized exchange on Starknet. Nostra Pools uses constant-product and StableSwap pools, and liquidity providers can earn swap fees. These are platform activities; they do not mean that every Nostra service uses NSTR for payments or fees.
NSTR is Nostra’s governance token. The project says holders can have a voice in the platform’s direction, though the exact voting process and the proposals available may depend on Nostra’s governance arrangements. NSTR is not described as a native gas token for a blockchain. You should distinguish the token from the Nostra app and its pools: using a Nostra service does not necessarily require holding NSTR.
## NSTR’s role and supply
NSTR is intended to give holders a role in Nostra governance. The project describes it as a way to shape the platform’s development. Governance tokens can let holders vote on proposals, but the token description alone does not establish how votes are submitted, whether voting power is delegated, or which decisions are covered. Check Nostra’s current governance materials before assuming that holding NSTR gives you a particular voting right.
The stated supply is 100 million NSTR, with 100 million circulating and no additional maximum beyond that total. These figures describe the token supply, not how it is distributed among holders or whether all tokens are readily available to trade. As of 2026-11-05, the reported price was about $0.0049 and market capitalization about $493,000. Such figures can change quickly and should be treated as a dated snapshot, not a forecast or a measure of the project’s future value.
## Networks and transfers
NSTR has been issued on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Starknet and Solana. The listed networks are not evidence that NSTR is native to any of them, nor does the network list alone confirm whether tokens on different chains are interchangeable or how they are bridged. Before sending or receiving NSTR, confirm the network and token contract through Nostra’s official channels and make sure the receiving wallet or exchange supports that exact version.
A transfer on the wrong network can be difficult or impossible to recover. Bridging also introduces separate risks, including smart-contract vulnerabilities, delays and loss of access if a bridge or service fails. Network fees and transaction details vary by chain. Avoid relying on a token’s name or ticker alone, since unrelated or counterfeit assets can use the same labels.
## Risks and storage
NSTR carries the usual risks of a crypto asset. Its market price can move sharply, and low trading activity can make it harder to buy or sell at a desired price. Governance tokens may have limited practical influence if participation is low or voting powers are concentrated. Nostra’s lending, borrowing, swap and bridge services also involve protocol, liquidity, market and smart-contract risks; a problem in a service does not have to affect every part of the ecosystem in the same way.
For self-custody, use a wallet that supports the specific network and token version you hold. Keep recovery phrases and private keys offline and private, and never share them to claim tokens or take part in a vote. If using a hardware wallet, check that it supports the relevant chain and transaction type. Exchange custody may be simpler, but it means relying on the exchange to secure and release your assets. Verify addresses and networks before every transfer.
By the numbers
Nostra in numbers
Nostra (NSTR) is ranked #3,892 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $471K and a price of $0.004713 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($471K) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was down 3.4% over 7 days, down 12.0% over 30 days, down 59.7% over the past year. It trades about 100% below its all-time high of $721.93, set on Mar 26, 2026.
About 100M NSTR are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 100M (100% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $1.03K, or 0.2% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
NSTR has token contracts on 5 chains we track, including Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Starknet. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
NSTR is linked to Nostra, which we cover in our Lending rankings. See our Nostra page for how the protocol works and how we score it.

NSTR FAQs
What is NSTR used for?
NSTR is Nostra’s governance token. The project says holders can have a voice in shaping the platform, but you should check current governance rules to see how that participation works.
What is the supply of NSTR?
The stated total and circulating supply are both 100 million NSTR, and the stated maximum supply is also 100 million. Supply figures do not explain how tokens are distributed or how much is available to trade.
Which networks support NSTR?
NSTR has been issued on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Starknet and Solana. Check the exact network and token version before transferring; a ticker match alone is not enough.
What is Nostra Pools?
Nostra Pools is an AMM decentralized exchange on Starknet with constant-product and StableSwap pools. Liquidity providers can earn swap fees, but supplying liquidity involves market and smart-contract risks.
How can I store NSTR?
You can hold NSTR in a wallet that supports its specific chain and token version, or use a supported exchange. Keep recovery information private and verify the network and address before sending tokens.
What is the market cap of Nostra?
