What Peapods Finance is

Peapods Finance is a permissionless DeFi protocol. Its core idea is that any ERC-20 token can serve as the base of its own self-contained financial system. The project calls its yield model Volatility Farming, which aims to earn returns from price swings rather than from new token emissions. Users can create vaults called Pods. A depositor of a token, referred to as TKN in the project materials, receives a wrapped version called pTKN that can be traded on decentralised exchanges. Trading of pTKN draws third-party arbitrage, and the protocol takes a share of that activity to fund yield across the system. Each Pod is also linked to lending markets, single-sided leveraged liquidity provision and governance. The project describes itself as a yield protocol aimed at experienced DeFi users, so the design is complex and is best read in the official documentation before anyone interacts with it.

What the PEAS token is used for

PEAS is the protocol's token. The public material available for this page describes a few uses. One is trading: PEAS is actively traded, and its price can be pushed toward other markets through arbitrage. A second is a revenue mechanism in which protocol revenue is allocated to buying and burning vlPEAS, which the source describes as a backing-based yield design similar to how pTKN tokens accrue value. A third is governance, which the project lists among its core mechanics. Public sources do not spell out the exact terms of locking, voting power or how much revenue goes to each use, so anyone considering PEAS should read the current official documentation rather than rely on a summary. Token utility can change through protocol upgrades or governance decisions.

Supply and market data

As of 2026-11-05, the data shows PEAS at about $1.79, with a market capitalisation of about $17.8 million and a rank of 904 by market cap. The 24-hour trading volume was about $81,815, which is small relative to the market cap. Circulating supply and total supply were both about 9.94 million tokens, and the stated maximum was slightly higher, at about 9.94 million. Over seven days the price fell about 9.5%, while over one year it rose about 60%. The all-time high was $11.74 on 2024-01-26, and the all-time low was about $0.18 on 2023-12-18. The price is therefore far below its early 2024 peak. A search snippet describes a fixed-supply design, but that claim has not been verified here. These figures change constantly and are given only as a snapshot, not as a basis for any decision.

Chains where PEAS exists

PEAS is issued on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Mode, Base, Sonic and Berachain. The data does not list PEAS as the native token of any blockchain. Each deployment on a different network is a separate token contract, and the data does not explain whether these are native deployments, bridged versions or something else. This matters because a token address on one network is not the same asset as an address on another. Before buying or moving PEAS, confirm which contract is the official one for the network you use, and check how it is represented in the project's official documentation. The data also does not give a launch date or consensus details for PEAS, so those points are unknown.

Risks and how to store PEAS safely

Several risks apply. Volatility Farming and leveraged liquidity strategies can magnify losses as well as gains, and leveraged positions can be liquidated. Lending markets carry borrower and collateral risk. Smart contract bugs or exploits could cause loss of funds, and a multi-chain setup adds more code to review. The protocol's yield depends on trading activity and volatility, so quieter markets may produce less yield. Trading volume relative to market cap is low, which can mean large price moves from modest trades. Scam tokens often copy names and symbols, so always check contract addresses. For storage, use a self-custody wallet that supports the specific chain, keep your seed phrase offline and never share it, and verify contract addresses through official project channels. Begin with an amount you can afford to lose. This is general information, not financial advice.

By the numbers

Peapods Finance in numbers

Peapods Finance (PEAS) is ranked #1,146 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $11.5M and a price of $1.16 as of Nov 7, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($11.5M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.

The price was down 40.9% over 7 days, down 43.0% over 30 days, down 5.2% over the past year. It trades about 90% below its all-time high of $11.74, set on Jan 26, 2024.

About 9.94M PEAS are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 9.94M (100% issued).

24-hour trading volume was about $22.0K, or 0.2% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

PEAS has token contracts on 6 chains we track, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Mode, Base. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

PEAS is linked to Peapods Finance, which we cover in our Yield Aggregator rankings. See our Peapods Finance page for how the protocol works and how we score it.

PEAS FAQs

Is PEAS a native token of a blockchain?

No. The data for PEAS lists no native chain for the token. It is issued as a token on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Mode, Base, Sonic and Berachain, and each deployment should be checked separately.

What is a Pod in Peapods Finance?

A Pod is a vault created with the protocol. A depositor of a token receives pTKN, a wrapped and tradable version of that token, and the protocol uses trading and arbitrage around pTKN to fund yield.

Is PEAS a fixed-supply token?

The data shows circulating supply, total supply and maximum supply all at roughly 9.94 million tokens as of 2026-11-05. A search snippet describes a fixed-supply design, but that has not been verified, so check the official documentation for the current rules.

What was the PEAS all-time high?

The data lists an all-time high of $11.74 on 2024-01-26 and an all-time low of about $0.18 on 2023-12-18. Prices change constantly, so check a live source for current figures.

Is Peapods Finance safe to use?

Any DeFi protocol carries smart contract, market and liquidation risks, and the yield strategies here use leverage. No one can guarantee that a position will be safe or profitable. Read the official documentation and only put in an amount you can afford to lose.

What is the market cap of Peapods Finance?

As of Nov 7, 2026, Peapods Finance had a market cap of about $11.5M, ranking #1,146 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of PEAS?

Peapods Finance's all-time high is $11.74, reached on Jan 26, 2024. Its all-time low is $0.1821 (Dec 18, 2023). Past prices say nothing about future returns.

What is the circulating supply of PEAS?

As of Nov 7, 2026, about 9.94M PEAS were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 9.94M.

Which blockchains is PEAS on?

It has token contracts on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Mode, Base, Sonic, Berachain.
