## What is Etherex (REX)?

Etherex is a decentralized exchange on Linea, an Ethereum Layer 2 network. It uses concentrated liquidity, a design that lets liquidity providers choose price ranges for their funds rather than spreading liquidity across every possible price. REX is the exchange’s token; it is not the native token of Linea or Ethereum. Etherex describes its tokenomics as “x(3,3),” a label for a system that links incentives and token locking. That label does not guarantee returns or a stable token value.

REX is issued on Linea. Public sources identify it as an exchange and DeFi token, but does not establish a launch date, a fixed maximum supply, or other chains where it is issued. Before interacting with a token, check that its contract and network match Etherex’s official information; similarly named tokens can exist.

## What is REX used for?

REX is used in Etherex’s incentive and governance design. Liquidity providers may receive REX rewards for supplying liquidity. Holders can lock REX to receive xREX, which is described as providing voting rights over how rewards are directed to liquidity pools, often through mechanisms called gauges. Etherex materials also describe xREX holders as receiving a share of trading fees. The exact rights, fee allocation and conditions depend on the protocol’s current rules, so check those rules before locking tokens.

Locking REX for xREX can make tokens less readily available: the lock may have a duration or withdrawal conditions, and the value of REX can change while tokens are locked. Governance rights do not ensure that a proposal passes or that a pool earns rewards. Likewise, liquidity-provider rewards depend on protocol incentives and pool activity, and can be outweighed by trading losses or other costs. Treat REX rewards and fee income as variable, not guaranteed.

## REX supply and market figures

As of 2026-11-05, the reported circulating supply was about 59.3 million REX, and total supply was about 412.1 million. No maximum supply was reported, so these figures do not establish a hard cap. Circulating supply is the portion counted as available in the market; total supply includes tokens that may not currently be circulating. The two figures can change as tokens are issued, unlocked, distributed or otherwise reclassified.

At that date, REX was priced at about $0.0095, with a market capitalization of roughly $562,000 and 24-hour trading volume of about $725. These are snapshots, not current quotes, and low trading volume can make it harder to trade larger amounts near a displayed price. Token rewards can also increase the amount held by market participants and create dilution pressure. Check up-to-date supply and market information before making decisions; past prices do not predict future performance.

## Linea access and storage

REX is issued on Linea, so you need a wallet that supports Linea to hold or use it there. Confirm the network and token contract using Etherex’s official channels before sending funds. Sending REX to an address on an incompatible network, or interacting with a counterfeit token, can lead to permanent loss. A wallet that supports Ethereum does not necessarily have Linea configured automatically.

For self-custody, a software wallet can be convenient for using dApps, while a hardware wallet can keep signing keys offline; either option requires careful handling of the recovery phrase. Never share that phrase or approve a transaction you do not understand. If using a custodial exchange or wallet, check whether it supports REX withdrawals on Linea rather than assuming that token support includes every network. Storage protects access to the token, not its market value, and it does not remove smart-contract or network risks.

## Risks to understand

REX carries the risks common to smaller DeFi tokens, including substantial price swings, limited liquidity and uncertainty about future demand. Etherex users also face smart-contract vulnerabilities, failed or delayed transactions, and possible disruptions affecting Linea or the dApp. Concentrated-liquidity positions can lose value when prices move outside their selected ranges or diverge from one another. Rewards may change, and locking REX for xREX can limit access to tokens while the lock is active.

Governance does not remove these risks: proposals can change incentives or protocol settings, and voting outcomes may not match every holder’s interests. Review the current locking terms, pool details, contract permissions and fee rules before committing funds. Do not treat advertised rewards as guaranteed income, and do not risk money you cannot afford to lose. This is general information, not a recommendation to buy, sell or use REX.

By the numbers

Etherex in numbers

Etherex (REX) is ranked #3,759 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $526K and a price of $0.008859 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $3.65M, so roughly 14% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.

The price was down 9.2% over 7 days, down 16.4% over 30 days, down 91.9% over the past year. It trades about 99% below its all-time high of $0.6239, set on Sep 7, 2025.

About 59.35M REX are in circulation, from a total supply of 412.11M. No hard maximum supply is listed.

24-hour trading volume was about $61, or 0.0% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

REX has token contracts on Linea. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

REX FAQs

What is Etherex REX?

REX is issued on Linea and is associated with the Etherex decentralized exchange. It is not Linea’s native network token.

What is REX used for?

Etherex uses REX for liquidity-provider incentives and allows holders to lock it to receive xREX. xREX is described as providing governance rights over pool rewards and a share of trading fees, subject to current protocol rules.

How many REX tokens are there?

As of 2026-11-05, reported circulating supply was about 59.3 million REX and total supply was about 412.1 million. No maximum supply was reported, and supply figures may change.

Which network is REX on?

REX is issued on Linea, so use a wallet that supports that network and verify the token contract through Etherex’s official channels. Check that any exchange withdrawal you use is specifically supported on Linea.

What are the risks of REX?

Key risks include price volatility, limited liquidity, smart-contract vulnerabilities, changes to rewards and governance, and the possibility of losing access to locked tokens under applicable terms. xREX and liquidity rewards do not guarantee a profit.

What is the market cap of Etherex?

As of Nov 6, 2026, Etherex had a market cap of about $526K, ranking #3,759 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of REX?

Etherex's all-time high is $0.6239, reached on Sep 7, 2025. Its all-time low is $0.003717 (Jul 18, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.

What is the circulating supply of REX?

As of Nov 6, 2026, about 59.35M REX were in circulation; no fixed maximum supply is listed.

Which blockchains is REX on?

It has token contracts on Linea.
