## What Spectra [OLD] (APW) is

Spectra [OLD] (APW) is the token associated with APWine, a DeFi protocol built around trading future yield. The protocol’s original design let users deposit interest-bearing tokens from other platforms and separate the underlying deposit from the yield expected over a set period. That yield could then be represented by a Future Yield Token (FYT) and traded through a dedicated market.

APWine also described an interest-bearing token, or IBT, representing deposited assets in the protocol. These protocol tokens are distinct from APW: APW is the project token, while FYTs and IBTs represented positions in deposited assets and future yield. Public project material also uses the Spectra name, but the label “Spectra [OLD]” signals that APW should be treated as a legacy token. Do not assume it has the same role as any newer Spectra token without checking the project’s current documentation.

## What APW has been used for

APW’s role has been associated with the APWine ecosystem rather than with paying for goods or serving as a blockchain’s native gas token. Historical project material describes a vote-escrow token model in which users could lock APW and vote on how token rewards were allocated among pools. This provides context for APW’s governance and incentive function, but it does not establish that those features remain active or that the old token has the same utility in the current Spectra project.

The underlying protocol concept was to let users trade exposure to future yield. For example, a user might sell a future-yield position to receive value earlier, while another participant might buy it to gain exposure to that yield. These activities involve separate protocol assets and risks; owning APW alone does not mean you hold an FYT, an IBT, or a claim on yield. Check current project information before relying on any stated APW use.

## Supply and market context

The reported maximum and total supply of APW are both 50 million tokens. About 25.4 million were circulating as of 2026-07-14, so the reported circulating amount was roughly half of the maximum supply. Supply figures can change or be reported differently across services, and the circulating figure does not by itself explain how remaining tokens are held or whether they can enter circulation.

As of 2026-07-14, APW’s quoted price was about $0.020 and its market capitalization was about $503,000. These are time-sensitive estimates, not a current quote or a measure of how easily the token can be sold; reported 24-hour volume was unavailable. The token’s reported all-time high was about $5.82 on 2021-10-14, and its reported low was about $0.0166 on 2026-06-30. Past prices do not indicate future performance.

## Chains and storage

APW is reported as issued on Ethereum and Polygon, and it is not listed as the native token of either chain. That means it should be handled as a token on the selected network, not as ETH or MATIC/POL. Sending it to an address on the wrong network, or using an unsupported wallet or exchange deposit route, can result in a loss of access to the funds.

For self-custody, use a wallet that supports the relevant network and the correct APW token contract. Confirm the network and contract using reliable, current project information before adding the token or making a transfer; token names and symbols can be copied by unrelated assets. Keep your recovery phrase offline and private, and consider a hardware wallet if appropriate. A wallet showing an APW balance does not confirm that the token is current, liquid, or accepted by a particular dApp or exchange.

## Risks to understand

APW carries legacy-token risk: the project has used the Spectra name, and the “OLD” label means users should verify whether APW remains supported or whether a migration has been announced. Do not assume a newer token, protocol interface, or chain deployment automatically accepts APW. Check the exact token contract, network, and any migration terms through current project channels before interacting.

There are also market and smart-contract risks. APW may have limited liquidity, which can make trades difficult or cause a large gap between quoted and executed prices. Protocol bugs, compromised keys, changes to governance or incentives, and failures in connected DeFi platforms can affect users and token value. Future-yield products add risks around the underlying asset, the yield source, and the timing or terms of a position. APW is volatile, and its historical price or reported market capitalization is not a guarantee of future value.

By the numbers

Spectra [OLD] in numbers

Spectra [OLD] (APW) is ranked #3,809 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $503K and a price of $0.0198 as of Jul 14, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $990K, so roughly 51% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.

The price was up 5.5% over 7 days, up 5.1% over 30 days. It trades about 100% below its all-time high of $5.82, set on Oct 14, 2021.

About 25.42M APW are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 50M (51% issued).

APW has token contracts on 2 chains we track, including Ethereum, Polygon. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

CoinGecko groups APW under DEX tokens, Exchange tokens, Yield farming tokens.

APW FAQs

What is Spectra [OLD] (APW)?

APW is the project token associated with APWine, a protocol designed to trade future yield from interest-bearing assets. Historical material describes APW governance and reward-allocation features, but their present status should be checked.

What is APW used for?

APW has been associated with governance and incentives in APWine’s earlier token model. It is separate from the protocol’s Future Yield Tokens and interest-bearing tokens, and users should not assume every historical feature is still active.

What is the supply of APW?

The reported maximum and total supply are 50 million APW. About 25.4 million were reported as circulating as of 2026-07-14; supply reporting can change over time.

Which networks support APW?

APW is reported as issued on Ethereum and Polygon, not as a native token of those networks. Confirm the token contract and network before transferring or adding it to a wallet.

Is APW the same as a newer Spectra token?

The “OLD” label and the project’s use of the Spectra name make it important to check current project information for support or migration details. Verify the token contract and any stated terms before taking action; do not assume APW and a newer token are interchangeable.

What is the market cap of Spectra [OLD]?

As of Jul 14, 2026, Spectra [OLD] had a market cap of about $503K, ranking #3,809 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of APW?

Spectra [OLD]'s all-time high is $5.82, reached on Oct 14, 2021. Its all-time low is $0.0166 (Jun 30, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.

What is the circulating supply of APW?

As of Jul 14, 2026, about 25.42M APW were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 50M.

Which blockchains is APW on?

It has token contracts on Ethereum, Polygon.
