What Centrifuge is

Centrifuge is a protocol that aims to bring real-world assets, such as company invoices, private credit and government bond funds, onto blockchains as tokens. In our data it is grouped under real-world asset (RWA) tokens. The project's earlier Tinlake product linked trade finance assets, such as business invoices, to decentralized finance. More recent public summaries describe Centrifuge as infrastructure that asset managers and issuers can use, without being limited to one type of asset or one issuer. The project description field in our data is empty, so the details here come from public search summaries and should be checked against the project's own documentation before you rely on them.

What the CFG token is used for

the public information available to us do not give a full list of what the CFG token does. Public materials say the token is part of the model that runs the platform and reduces reliance on a single point of failure, but they do not spell out in our data which specific rights, fee flows or rewards it carries. A May 2025 migration notice said the project merged the older CFG and WCFG tokens into one ERC-20 token, which is meant to support the newer Centrifuge V3 design. A March 2026 report said the largest tokenized product on the platform is a Janus Henderson fund that holds U.S. Treasuries, and that CFG's price jumped sharply after a Binance listing. A short price spike like that does not show lasting demand, so read token utility claims in current official documents.

Supply and market data

As of 2026-11-05, our data shows CFG at about $0.0998, with a market capitalization of about $37.9 million and a fully diluted valuation of about $67.8 million. Daily trading volume was about $8.0 million, and the token ranked 551st by market capitalization. Circulating supply is about 380.4 million tokens against a total supply of 680 million, and no maximum supply is listed. The gap between market cap and fully diluted valuation reflects tokens that are counted in total supply but not yet circulating. Over the past week the price fell about 2.8%, and over the past year about 35.7%. The all-time high was about $0.40 on 2025-08-24, and the all-time low was about $0.067 on 2026-02-06. These figures change constantly, and they are not a basis for any buy or sell decision.

Chains and token standard

Our data lists CFG as issued on Ethereum as an ERC-20 token. It is not a native token of its own blockchain, so it depends on Ethereum's network and its fees and security. The 2025 consolidation of CFG and WCFG into one Ethereum token was meant to simplify the token for use across the platform. Before you interact with any contract, confirm the Ethereum address through the project's official channels, because copies of popular tokens are common and some are created to deceive buyers.

Risks and storage

Holding CFG carries several risks. Prices have swung widely, with a drop of more than 80% from the all-time high to the all-time low within about six months. The token's value depends on the real-world asset sector, which faces changing interest rates, credit problems and evolving regulation in many countries. Smart contract bugs, governance decisions and the release of unlocked supply can also affect price and usability. Trading volume is much smaller than the total market capitalization in some periods, which can make large trades move the price. If you hold CFG, use a self-custody wallet that supports Ethereum ERC-20 tokens and keep your recovery phrase offline. Never share it, and be wary of messages or sites that ask you to connect your wallet or approve unknown contracts.

By the numbers

Centrifuge in numbers

Centrifuge (CFG) is ranked #553 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $36.5M and a price of $0.0960 as of Nov 7, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $65.3M, so roughly 56% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.

The price was down 1.9% over 7 days, down 32.0% over 30 days, down 38.6% over the past year. It trades about 76% below its all-time high of $0.4004, set on Aug 24, 2025.

About 380.38M CFG are in circulation, from a total supply of 680M. No hard maximum supply is listed.

24-hour trading volume was about $4.70M, or 13% of its market cap: high turnover.

CFG has token contracts on Ethereum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

CFG is linked to Centrifuge Protocol, which we cover in our Real-World Assets rankings. See our Centrifuge Protocol page for how the protocol works and how we score it.

CFG FAQs

What is CFG used for?

Public summaries describe CFG as part of the model that runs the Centrifuge platform. The specific governance rights, fee flows and rewards are not fully described publicly we have, so check current official documentation before relying on any use case.

Which blockchain is CFG on?

Our data lists CFG as issued on Ethereum as an ERC-20 token. It is not a native token of its own blockchain. A 2025 migration merged the older CFG and WCFG tokens into a single Ethereum token.

What is the max supply of CFG?

Our data shows a total supply of 680 million CFG and about 380.4 million in circulation as of 2026-11-05. No maximum supply is listed, so the token may not have a fixed cap.

Can I stake CFG?

Some public summaries mention staking as a way to use the token, but public sources we have do not confirm current staking terms, rewards or risks. Check the project's official documentation and the platform's own terms before staking.

Is CFG a good investment?

This page does not offer investment advice. CFG's price has fallen sharply from its 2025 peak and changed quite a bit in the past year. Weigh your own finances and risk tolerance, and consider speaking with a qualified adviser.

How can I avoid fake CFG tokens?

Confirm the Ethereum contract address through the project's official channels and use a wallet that supports ERC-20 tokens. Be cautious of fake tokens, phishing links and requests to share your recovery phrase.

What is the market cap of Centrifuge?

As of Nov 7, 2026, Centrifuge had a market cap of about $36.5M, ranking #553 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of CFG?

Centrifuge's all-time high is $0.4004, reached on Aug 24, 2025. Its all-time low is $0.0672 (Feb 6, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.

What is the circulating supply of CFG?

As of Nov 7, 2026, about 380.38M CFG were in circulation; no fixed maximum supply is listed.

Which blockchains is CFG on?

It has token contracts on Ethereum.
