What Casper Network and CSPR are
Casper Network is a proof-of-stake Layer 1 blockchain, which means it is a base chain that handles its own transactions and security rather than running on top of another network. According to the project's description, it launched on mainnet in March 2021 and is aimed at tokenized real-world assets, such as regulated financial instruments. CSPR is the network's native token. Public search summaries describe it as the token used to pay network fees, to help secure the network, and to reward validators and delegators who stake. The project also points to enterprise workflows and a machine-to-machine economy as target markets, but those are goals described in its roadmap, not proven usage. Readers should treat the project's claims as claims until they can check adoption data for themselves. Casper Labs, a company connected to the project, has also tokenized its equity shares. Those tokens are separate from CSPR.
What the token is used for
CSPR is used at the protocol level for three main purposes, based on the project's description and public summaries. First, it pays network fees for transactions and contract activity. Second, it is staked to help secure the network under the proof-of-stake model, with holders delegating to validators. Third, it rewards validators and delegators for that work. The project has also run community reward programs in which users earn points for completing tasks and those points can be converted into CSPR through Casper Association rewards. Such programs depend on the project's rules at the time and can change, so anyone taking part should read the current terms. the public information available here do not describe CSPR as collateral in lending markets or as a governance token, so this page does not claim those uses. Holding a token does not guarantee any return, and staking rewards are not fixed.
Supply and market data
The figures below are approximate values as of 2026-11-05, taken for this page, and they change constantly. CSPR traded at about 0.0021 US dollars, giving a market capitalization of about 36.6 million dollars and a fully diluted valuation of about 42.3 million dollars. The token ranked 570th by market capitalization, with about 2.6 million dollars traded over 24 hours. Over the past seven days the price was down about 10.3 percent, and over the past year it was down about 68.5 percent. The all-time high was about 1.33 dollars on 2021-05-11. The all-time low in the data was about 0.00146 dollars on 2026-07-21. Circulating supply was about 17.43 billion tokens against a total of about 20.15 billion, and the data lists no maximum supply. The gap between circulating and total supply means more tokens may enter circulation over time, which can affect price. These numbers describe the past and are not a forecast.
Chains and technical design
Casper uses a consensus design it calls Zug Consensus, which the project describes as deterministic and offering instant finality. In plain terms, a transaction is meant to be final once it is confirmed, without waiting for further blocks to make a reversal unlikely. The project says it supports several virtual machines running in parallel on the same chain, so applications with different technical needs can run without a separate Layer 2 network. Its smart contracts are described as upgradable, with protocol-level access control. For developers, the project lists Rust and WebAssembly along with software development kits for JavaScript, Python and Go. The data supplied does not list any other blockchains on which CSPR is issued as a token, and it lists no chains that CSPR is native to beyond Casper itself. Technical claims like these are best checked against the project's own documentation and independent audits, which this page has not reviewed.
Risks and storage
CSPR carries the usual risks of a small, volatile token. The price has fallen sharply from its 2021 peak and has also dropped a long way in the past year, so losses can be large and fast. Trading volume is modest relative to the market, which can make prices move more on smaller orders. Supply is not capped in the data, and tokens not yet circulating could be released. Staking involves its own risks, including the possibility that a validator underperforms or that lock-up terms apply, so check the rules before delegating. Platform and technical risks also apply, including bugs, outages and governance changes. To store CSPR, use a wallet that supports the token and keep the recovery phrase offline, since anyone who has it can take the funds. Confirm the receiving address before sending, be wary of unsolicited messages offering help or giveaways, and check any contract or address against the project's official channels. Only hold an amount you could afford to lose.
By the numbers
Casper Network in numbers
Casper Network (CSPR) is ranked #575 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $35.4M and a price of $0.002031 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $40.9M, so roughly 86% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 3.3% over 7 days, down 17.3% over 30 days, down 70.8% over the past year. It trades about 100% below its all-time high of $1.33, set on May 11, 2021.
About 17.43B CSPR are in circulation, from a total supply of 20.16B. No hard maximum supply is listed.
24-hour trading volume was about $1.77M, or 5.0% of its market cap: moderate turnover.
CoinGecko groups CSPR under Layer 1 tokens, Real-world asset (RWA) tokens.

CSPR FAQs
What is CSPR used for?
CSPR is the native token of the Casper Network. Public summaries say it pays network fees, supports proof-of-stake security, and rewards validators and delegators. The project also describes plans for tokenized real-world assets, though those are goals rather than confirmed usage.
Are Casper Labs equity tokens the same as CSPR?
No. A search result states that CasperLabs equity tokenization has nothing to do with CSPR, the native token of the Casper Network. The two should be treated as separate assets.
Is there a maximum supply of CSPR?
The data supplied lists no maximum supply. As of 2026-11-05 it showed about 17.43 billion circulating tokens against a total of about 20.15 billion.
Where can I check the current CSPR price?
Price data changes constantly, so check a live market data source at the time you read. The figures on this page are approximate values as of 2026-11-05 and are included for context only.
Is CSPR a good investment?
No. This page explains the project and its risks but does not give buy or sell advice or predict future prices. Decisions about holding or trading CSPR depend on your own circumstances and research.
What is the market cap of Casper Network?
As of Nov 6, 2026, Casper Network had a market cap of about $35.4M, ranking #575 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of CSPR?
Casper Network's all-time high is $1.33, reached on May 11, 2021. Its all-time low is $0.001460 (Jul 21, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of CSPR?
As of Nov 6, 2026, about 17.43B CSPR were in circulation; no fixed maximum supply is listed.
