ActiveZeebit Review 2026: On-Chain Casino on Solana and Sonic
Zeebit is an on-chain casino on Solana and the Sonic SVM network that runs its own games through smart contracts and verifiable randomness. It suits crypto-native players who want self-custody, but it has no published licence and carries beta and smart-contract risk.

Our verdict on Zeebit
6.0/10Zeebit suits crypto-native players who want provably fair, self-custodied games on Solana or Sonic and are comfortable with smart-contract risk. Its main strength is that bets settle on-chain with verifiable randomness, and session keys keep play quick. The main caveat is the lack of a published licence, with beta warnings, mixed audit statements and an early congestion stall. Treat it as a high-risk entertainment product and stake only small amounts.

What is Zeebit?
Zeebit is a casino that runs on blockchain smart contracts instead of an operator's private servers. It launched on Solana and later added Sonic, an SVM-compatible L2. The project describes itself as non-custodial and fully on-chain, with a goal of web2-like speed and web3 transparency.
It offers twelve original games built in-house, including Plinko, Limbo, Dice, Roulette, Baccarat, Keno, Wheel, Tower and Mines, plus Slide. A Reward System sits alongside play. The team has also said the project was to be incubated by Solana Labs.
The path has not been smooth. The team's own post-mortem says Solana congestion in the spring of 2024 pushed interactions from sub-second to several seconds, and some transactions failed to land. That stalled the platform and led to a rebuild as v2 with session keys and a rollup layer. Public beta notes still warn of possible bugs.
How Zeebit works
Zeebit puts casino logic inside smart contracts. A player deposits funds into a contract on Solana and places bets from a self-custodied wallet. For randomness, the platform sends a request and then receives a VRF proof from an oracle, so the number cannot be picked by the operator.
To avoid slow confirmations, Zeebit uses MagicBlock's Ephemeral Rollup design. During a session, the player's accounts are delegated to an ephemeral validator that processes bets quickly. When the session ends, the final balance is committed back to Solana, and the project says funds never leave Solana mainnet custody.
Zeebit also runs on Sonic, an SVM-compatible L2, where SOL and SONIC can be wagered. The v2 rebuild added session keys, which cut down on repeated wallet approvals.
7 features
Key features
01
Fully on-chain betting
Every bet runs through smart contracts, and results are recorded on-chain with the inputs needed to verify them. The project says there is no hidden house back end.
02
In-house original games
Twelve originals are built in-house rather than licensed. They include Plinko, Limbo, Dice, Roulette, Baccarat, Keno, Wheel, Tower, Mines and Slide.
03
Verifiable randomness
Randomness is requested on-chain and answered with an oracle VRF proof, so players can check that outcomes were not chosen by the operator.
04
Ephemeral rollup speed
Funds sit in a Solana smart contract. During play, accounts are delegated to an ephemeral validator for speed, then the final balance commits back to Solana.
05
Session keys in v2
The v2 rebuild introduced session keys so players do not face a wallet pop-up on every play.
06
Solana and Sonic networks
Zeebit runs on Solana and on Sonic, where SOL and SONIC can be wagered. Cross-chain movement is handled through Hyperlane.
07
Epoch claims and rewards
Winners of a given epoch claim winnings through a dashboard called My Zeebros, and a Reward System blends casino play with token-style incentives.
Pros and cons
What we like
- Bets are settled by smart contracts, and results are recorded on-chain for independent checking.
- Players keep control of their funds through a non-custodial design, with deposits held on Solana mainnet.
- Twelve in-house games cover dice-style, table and interactive formats.
- Session keys and an ephemeral rollup reduce wallet pop-ups and latency.
- One source reports play without registration, which suits players who want to avoid account sign-ups.
Watch out for
- No gambling licence or regulator is named, so there is no formal player-protection framework.
- Public beta wording says the platform may still contain bugs, and it also mentions a formal smart-contract audit as in progress.
- Early network congestion on Solana stalled the product, which shows the model depends on chain performance.
- Only SOL and SONIC are named as wagering assets, which is narrow compared with multi-coin casinos.
- The reward system and any bonuses are not detailed, and fee or house-edge figures are not summarised in one place.
Zeebit fees
Zeebit does not publish a single fee schedule in the material reviewed. Each game's house edge or payout rules would be shown in the game interface or the project's documentation, and players should read them before staking.
Because bets are on-chain transactions, players also pay network costs on Solana or Sonic. The project built v2 around session keys and a rollup layer to keep per-bet costs and delays low, and it noted that priority fees during congestion had hurt the earlier version.
Is Zeebit safe?
Zeebit's main protection is its design. Funds stay in smart contracts under the player's wallet control, and outcomes are meant to be verifiable through oracle VRF proofs. That removes some operator risk but adds smart-contract risk, since a bug could affect deposits or payouts.
The audit picture is unclear. The team has said audits were complete before the congestion problems, while the public beta notice says Zeebit was undergoing a formal smart-contract audit and may still contain bugs. The project does not publish a gambling licence or named regulator.
Gambling is for adults only, 18+ or the local legal age. Online gambling is restricted in many places, so check local rules and do not stake more than you can afford to lose. Set deposit limits and stop if play stops being fun.

Who Zeebit is for
Zeebit is for adults who already use Solana wallets and want on-chain casino games with verifiable outcomes and self-custody. It is not a fit for anyone who needs a licensed operator, regulatory recourse, fiat deposits or a wide choice of coins.
Zeebit FAQs
What is Zeebit?
Zeebit is a casino that runs its bets through smart contracts on Solana, with a second deployment on the Sonic network. Outcomes are recorded on-chain, and the project describes the games as provably fair. It is described as non-custodial, so players use their own wallets.
Which games does Zeebit offer?
Zeebit lists twelve in-house originals. Single-player games include Coin Flip, Plinko, Limbo, Dice, Roulette, Baccarat, Keno and Wheel. Interactive titles include Tower and Mines, and Slide has also been released. The project also mentions PVP games.
Is Zeebit provably fair?
The project says each bet is settled by smart contracts, and the inputs needed to check results are published. Randomness comes from a request followed by a VRF proof from an oracle. Players can check outcomes themselves, though the result depends on the contracts being sound.
Does Zeebit require KYC?
One source says games can be played without registration, and the project describes itself as non-custodial. It does not publish a formal KYC policy in the material reviewed. Rules can change, so check the current terms before playing.
Is Zeebit licensed?
The project does not publish a gambling licence or named regulator. Online gambling is restricted or illegal in many places, so check the law where you live. Players must be 18 or older, or the local legal age if higher.
Which blockchains and coins does Zeebit support?
Zeebit is described as running on Solana and on Sonic, an SVM-compatible L2. SOL and SONIC are named as wagering assets. Moving assets between the two networks is described as using Hyperlane bridging.
