Warp Review 2026: NFT Starship GameFi With Daily Credits

Warp is a multiplayer GameFi project built around NFT starships that earn daily WARP credits and can battle, race and go on expeditions. Public information is mostly promotional and dated, so treat it as a high-risk, speculative game.

Weak

Our verdict on Warp

4.5/10

Warp suits readers who like NFT games with a sci-fi theme and accept high risk. Its main strength is a defined gameplay loop with battles, expeditions and daily WARP credits for ship holders. The main caveat is the lack of audits, the dated 2022 site and the team's stated right to change tokenomics at any time. Check recent activity on the official channels and spend only what you can afford to lose.

What is Warp?

Warp is a GameFi protocol built around NFT starships. According to its homepage, it is a realtime multiplayer game where buildable ships can take part in battles, quests, races and more. DefiLlama describes it as combining NFT starships, multiple staking pools and deflationary tokenomics.

The pitch is Collect, Play, Earn. Over 10,000 starship NFTs unlock gameplay, each earning free daily WARP credits for use in a hub called Primus Starport. The project lists a token on BSC and NFT gameplay on Polygon, Fantom, BSC, Ethereum and Avalanche.

DefiLlama lists Warp under Reserve Currency, which reflects the early bonding and staking design rather than the current game focus. It has been listed since January 2022, shows no audits and has no TVL figure available. The homepage footer is dated 2022, so readers should confirm that development is still ongoing.

How Warp works

Warp is a game where NFT starships are the entry ticket. Owning a ship lets you play, and each ship earns free daily WARP credits. Those credits are spent inside the Primus Starport hub on battles, upgrades, expeditions, fuel and repairs.

The homepage describes a Web 2.5 design with gasless in-game transactions. Players deposit tokens into the starport to play, and can withdraw them to BSC to sell on the open market. A feature called the Warpgate lets starship NFTs move between supported chains.

The project also describes deflationary tokenomics and multiple staking pools, but public sources give no numbers for these. The roadmap lists seasons from Season 1 (complete) through Season 3 (in concept), with a warning that contents are not guaranteed.

8 features

Key features

01

NFT starship collection

More than 10,000 unique starship NFTs across 12 archetypes unlock gameplay. The homepage says each ship is generated and rendered with 3D data saved for future expansion.

02

Daily WARP credits

Every starship earns free daily WARP credits that are spent in the starport on battles, upgrades, expeditions and repairs.

03

Arena battles

Ships fight in a Battle Arena, either through an AI-driven autobattle mode or manual turn-by-turn combat, with a chance to win WARP.

04

Arcade battle royale

An arcade-style online battle royale is reserved for Captains who hold starship NFTs.

05

Expeditions

Starships can be sent on quests where harder missions pay more but carry more danger.

06

Warpgate multichain play

A bridge feature that lets players move NFT starships between supported chains for realtime cross-chain play.

07

Primus Starport hub

A gasless, map-based Season 2 interface where tokens are deposited and withdrawn to play, with minigames in the Galactic Club.

08

Planned racing and betting

Starship racing with WARP betting is listed for Season 2.5, which the roadmap marks as in production.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Clear gameplay loop with battles, expeditions, minigames and planned racing rather than a pure yield pitch.
  • Daily WARP credits are earned by holding a ship, so playing is not required to accrue them, per the homepage.
  • Multichain NFT gameplay through the Warpgate across five listed chains.
  • Gasless in-game transactions are described for Season 2, which lowers per-action friction inside the game.
  • The roadmap is public, showing Season 1 and 2 as complete and later seasons as in production or concept.
  • Team members are listed with social links, though real identities are not given.

Watch out for

  • No audits are listed on DefiLlama, so the smart contracts have no public third-party review.
  • The homepage footer is dated 2022 and Season 2.5 is still marked as in production, so current activity is unclear.
  • Rewards depend on a WARP token whose value is volatile, and the team says it may change tokenomics at any time.
  • Season contents are explicitly not guaranteed and can be changed or removed.
  • TVL and usage figures are not available, so adoption cannot be judged from the data.
  • DefiLlama files it under Reserve Currency, which does not match how the game actually works, so its listing data should be read with caution.

Warp fees

Fees are not published publicly. The homepage says gameplay inside Primus Starport uses gasless transactions, but it does not state mint prices, marketplace fees, or costs to deposit, withdraw or bridge ships.

Users would normally see network gas costs on their wallet when minting, bridging or withdrawing, and any in-game costs inside the app itself. Check the WARP app before committing funds.

Is Warp safe?

DefiLlama lists zero audits for Warp. Public sources contain no information on custody design, contract audits or past incidents, so smart-contract risk is unquantified. Players hold NFTs and tokens in their own wallets and deposit tokens into the game hub to play, which adds exposure to the game's own contracts.

The site says cryptocurrencies are volatile and that the team reserves the right to change tokenomics or ecosystem features at any time. The roadmap also says season contents are not guaranteed. The footer is dated 2022, so check recent activity. Treat any money put into this game as speculative.

6 steps

How to get started with Warp

  1. 1

Read the official site and the Season 2 overview, and confirm through the official social channels that the game is still being updated.

  2. 2

Set up a wallet that supports the chains you plan to use, such as Polygon or BSC.

  3. 3

Research how to get a starship NFT, either through the mint or the Shipyard marketplace, and check prices and fees first.

  4. 4

Open the WARP app and connect your wallet.

  5. 5

Claim daily WARP credits and spend them on games, upgrades and repairs in the starport.

  6. 6

Decide in advance how much you can afford to lose, and only withdraw tokens to BSC if you intend to sell.

Who Warp is for

Warp is for NFT gamers comfortable with early-stage, speculative play-to-earn projects who will check the project's current activity and risks themselves. It is not suited to anyone seeking stable returns or a well-audited protocol.
