Vaults.fyi Review 2026: A Yield Discovery Hub for DeFi Vaults

Vaults.fyi is a web app and API that lists DeFi yield vaults from protocols such as Aave, Lido, Spark and Morpho curators, with TVL, holders and 7-day yield. It is a useful comparison tool, but each vault carries its own risk.

Our verdict on Vaults Fyi

7.2/10

Vaults.fyi suits DeFi users who want to compare yield vaults across protocols and networks in one place, and developers who need vault data through an API. Its main strength is breadth: TVL, holders, curator and yield averages sit side by side, with borrowing and bridging nearby. The main caveat is that it does not publish fees, audits or team information, and every vault it lists carries its own smart-contract and market risk. Treat it as a research tool, not a safety rating.

What is Vaults Fyi?

Vaults.fyi is a web app for finding and comparing yield-bearing DeFi vaults. Its Discover page lists vaults from protocols such as Aave v3, Lido, ether.fi, Spark, Ethena and Rocket Pool, along with vaults run by curators like Steakhouse Financial, Sentora and SparkDAO.

The page showed 32 pages of vaults, covering networks including Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Plasma, Ink and Robinhood Chain. In the snapshot reviewed, the largest listed vault was Lido stETH at about $23.59B TVL, followed by ether.fi eETH at about $5.52B and Aave v3 WETH at about $5.05B.

Beyond the table, the app has sections for borrowing, tracking positions, analytics and bridging funds. The project also sells access to its data through an API and says companies such as Kraken, Jumper, Gauntlet, kpk and Maple use it for data, transaction payloads and portfolio tracking.

How Vaults Fyi works

Vaults.fyi collects data from DeFi protocols that pay yield on deposited crypto. These include lending markets like Aave v3, liquid staking tokens like Lido stETH, savings products like Savings USDS, and curated vaults run by groups such as Steakhouse Financial and Sentora. Each vault is shown in one table with its token, network, TVL, number of holders and yield.

A vault is a smart contract that takes a deposit, puts it to work in a strategy such as lending or staking, and returns a share token that grows or earns yield over time. A curator is the party that chooses the strategy and risk limits. The yield column shows an average over a period you pick, and the table notes when yield data was last updated.

After connecting a wallet, users can view positions across protocols, find idle tokens and start deposits through the app. The site also exposes the same data and transaction payloads through an API for companies that want to build their own products.

8 features

Key features

01

Vault discovery table

A sortable table of vaults with token, network, protocol, curator, category score, holders, TVL and yield. Filters narrow the list by token, network, protocol, curator and category.

02

Adjustable yield windows

Yield can be shown as an average over 1, 7 or 30 days, which helps separate steady returns from short spikes.

03

Portfolio tracking

A My positions area and per-address dashboards track holdings and flag idle tokens in a wallet that earn no interest.

04

Borrow section

The sidebar includes a Borrow section alongside the earning side, so users can look at lending markets from the same interface.

05

Built-in bridging

A bridge-funds tool lets users move assets to the network where a chosen vault lives.

06

Analytics and curator views

A separate Analytics section and curator pages show data such as TVL by curator and vault.

07

Vaults API

Developers can pull vault data and transaction payloads through an API, which the site says is used by several well-known companies.

08

Fixed-term vaults

A Fixed term tab separates fixed-rate vaults from variable-yield ones.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Wide coverage of vaults across multiple networks in one filterable table.
  • Shows TVL, holders and yield together, with 1, 7 and 30-day averages.
  • Includes borrowing, position tracking, analytics and bridging in the same app.
  • Flags idle wallet tokens that are not earning interest.
  • API and transaction payloads suit developers; the site names several well-known users.
  • Browsing the data needs no wallet connection.

Watch out for

  • Does not publish fees, audits or team details on the pages reviewed, so cost and assurance are unclear.
  • Yield figures are snapshots with a stated last-updated time and can lag or change quickly.
  • Listing a vault is not an endorsement; each underlying protocol carries its own smart-contract and market risk.
  • Some listed vaults show very high headline yields on small TVL, which can mislead newcomers.
  • Breadth (32 pages of vaults) can overwhelm beginners who are new to filters like curator and category.

Vaults Fyi fees

The project does not publish a fee schedule on the pages reviewed. Whether vaults.fyi adds its own charge on transactions is not stated.

Users should expect network gas on every deposit, withdrawal or bridge, plus whatever management or performance fees the underlying vault or curator sets. These are normally shown on each vault's own page or in the protocol's documentation.

Is Vaults Fyi safe?

Vaults.fyi presents vaults rather than running them, so the main risks sit in the underlying protocols and curators. Smart-contract bugs, stablecoin depegs, liquidation losses and curator errors are all possible, and a vault's size or listing does not remove them. The pages reviewed do not publish audits, a security contact or a team, so users should look up the audits and track record of each vault they use.

The homepage does not state a custody model or regulatory status. Normally apps like this connect to a user's own wallet and the user signs each transaction, but check what each approval allows before signing. Revoke approvals you no longer need.

6 steps

How to get started with Vaults Fyi

  1. 1

Open the vaults.fyi app and browse the Discover table without connecting a wallet.

  2. 2

Filter by token, network, protocol or curator, and choose a 1, 7 or 30-day yield average.

  3. 3

Compare TVL, holder count and category score, then open a vault to read its details and the protocol's own documentation.

  4. 4

Connect a wallet and check the My positions area for idle tokens that are not earning yield.

  5. 5

Use the bridge tool if your funds are on a different network than the vault.

  6. 6

Start with a small deposit and confirm the transaction details in your wallet before approving.

Who Vaults Fyi is for

It suits intermediate DeFi users who already hold stablecoins, ETH or BTC and want to compare where yield is available, as well as developers and funds that need vault data or transaction payloads. Complete beginners can browse it, but should learn how lending, staking and vault risks work before depositing.

Vaults Fyi FAQs

What is vaults.fyi?

Vaults.fyi is a discovery and tracking app for DeFi yield vaults. It lists vaults across several networks with TVL, holder counts and yield, and offers sections for borrowing, positions, analytics and bridging.

Which protocols and vaults does it cover?

The homepage lists vaults from Aave v3, Lido, ether.fi, Spark, Ethena, Rocket Pool, Coinbase, Maple's Syrup and curators such as Steakhouse Financial, Sentora and SparkDAO. Public reporting also show vaults curated by groups like Hyperithm, K3 Capital, Syntropia and NEMO.

Which blockchains does vaults.fyi support?

The listings shown include Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Plasma, Ink and Robinhood Chain. The full list may be longer than the first page shows.

Does vaults.fyi charge fees?

The project does not publish a fee schedule on the pages reviewed. You would still pay network gas and any fees charged by the underlying vault or protocol, which appear in each vault's own terms.

Is there an API for developers?

The homepage says companies such as Kraken, Jumper, Gauntlet, kpk and Maple use its data, transaction payloads and portfolio tracking through the API. A V2 API is described as a more structured way to access vault data.

Is the yield shown guaranteed?

Yield is not guaranteed. Vaults can lose value through smart-contract bugs, depegs, bad debt or curator mistakes, and displayed yields are averages over a recent window. Read the vault's documentation before depositing.
