Solv Vesting Review 2026: Vesting Vouchers and On-Chain Bonds

Solv Vesting is the part of Solv Protocol that turns token vesting and custom bonds into tradable on-chain vouchers. Its own TVL is tiny, and most of the brand's attention has moved to Bitcoin products.

Our verdict on Solv Vesting

6.0/10

Solv Vesting suits projects that want to manage token vesting on-chain and institutions or buyers who understand bond-style vouchers and their issuer risk. Its main strength is a clear voucher model with audits listed and a track record since 2022. The main caveat is scale and focus: this listing holds only about $22,000, fees are not published, and Solv's attention has moved to its Bitcoin products. Read the audit reports and each bond's terms before committing funds.

What is Solv Vesting?

Solv Vesting belongs to Solv Protocol, which launched in 2022 and is listed under real-world assets. Its V2 product lets crypto institutions issue custom bonds and repay them at maturity. The wider Solv platform also uses vouchers, tokenized claims on vesting or bonded assets that can be split and traded.

The listing for this product shows about $22,000 in TVL across Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon and Arbitrum, down about 7% over seven days. That is small next to the roughly $2.15B TVL the Solv homepage reports for the whole protocol, which is driven mainly by Bitcoin products.

The homepage now leads with SolvBTC, xSolvBTC and BTC+, and presents Solv as a Bitcoin reserve and yield layer. The vesting app still exists, with sections for vouchers, an IVO marketplace and listed assets. Readers should treat it as a niche tool inside a larger Bitcoin-focused brand.

How Solv Vesting works

A voucher is a token that represents a claim on a schedule. In vesting, it stands for assets that unlock over time. In a bond, it stands for a repayment owed on a maturity date. Because the claim is a token, the holder can see its terms on-chain and, in some cases, sell or split it.

For projects, this can replace spreadsheets and manual unlocks for team and investor allocations. For institutions, the listing says Solv V2 lets them issue a custom bond to raise capital and repay it at maturity. A buyer receives the voucher and later redeems it for the underlying amount.

The value of a voucher depends on the underlying asset and, for bonds, on the issuer's ability and willingness to repay. The platform provides the contracts and marketplace, but it does not remove that credit risk.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Vouchers make vesting schedules and bond claims visible and transferable on-chain.
  • It runs on four widely used networks, which keeps gas options open.
  • The protocol has been listed since April 2022 and has two audits on record.
  • The parent protocol publishes weekly reserve proofs and monthly custodian attestations for its Bitcoin products.
  • It serves a clear use case for projects that need to manage team and investor token allocations.

Watch out for

  • The Solv Vesting listing holds only about $22,000 in TVL and fell roughly 7% in a week, so activity here is small.
  • Fees for creating, trading or redeeming vouchers are not published in the material reviewed.
  • The main Solv site now focuses on Bitcoin products such as SolvBTC and xSolvBTC, so the vesting and bond tools get little attention.
  • Custom bonds and vouchers depend on the issuer repaying at maturity, which adds counterparty risk.
  • The site says it is not regulated by any federal or state agency and does not serve U.S. persons or some restricted regions.
  • Only two audits are listed, and the team and governance details are not set out in the sources reviewed.

Solv Vesting fees

The sources reviewed do not publish a fee schedule for creating vesting vouchers, listing them on the marketplace or redeeming bonds. Any protocol or marketplace charges would appear in the Solv app at the point of a transaction, and the documentation is the place to confirm them.

On top of that, users pay normal network gas on whichever chain they use. Gas is much higher on Ethereum than on Polygon or Arbitrum, which matters for small positions.

Is Solv Vesting safe?

Two audits are listed for the protocol, and the site links to audit reports and a security page. The reports' scope and findings are not summarised in the sources reviewed, so read them directly. Smart-contract risk remains, and so does issuer risk for bonds, since repayment depends on the party that issued them.

The site states that it is not regulated by any federal or state agency, is not registered with the U.S. SEC and does not offer securities services to U.S. persons. The app also says it does not serve users in certain countries or regions because of local laws. Users alone are responsible for judging the risks, and the contracts are not covered by deposit insurance.

The homepage cites alignment with MiCA standards for its Bitcoin products, but the sources reviewed give no licence details for the vesting tool.

Check that Solv services are permitted where you live, using the restricted regions notice in the app and your local rules.

  2. 2

  3. 3

Install a self-custody wallet and fund it with the asset and network gas for the chain you plan to use.

  4. 4

Open the Solv app, connect your wallet and go to the vesting or voucher section.

  5. 5

Review the voucher or bond terms, including the maturity date, vesting schedule and issuer.

  6. 6

Who Solv Vesting is for

Solv Vesting suits token projects that want a transparent on-chain way to handle team and investor allocations, and DeFi users comfortable buying bond-like vouchers with issuer risk. It is a poor fit for anyone who wants a simple yield product or a large, deep marketplace. Users in restricted regions or the U.S. should check eligibility first.

Solv Vesting FAQs

What is Solv Vesting?

It is a Solv Protocol product that represents locked or vesting assets, and bond-like claims, as on-chain vouchers. Holders can see the schedule and, where a marketplace is available, trade the claim. Projects can also use it to manage allocations for teams and investors.

Which blockchains does Solv Vesting support?

The listing shows Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon and Arbitrum. The main Solv site says the wider protocol supports 11 chains, which includes products beyond the vesting tool.

Does Solv Vesting have its own token?

The listing names SOLV as the protocol token. The sources reviewed do not describe it as required for using vesting vouchers, so check the documentation for its exact role.

What are Solv bonds?

Solv V2 lets crypto institutions issue a custom bond to raise capital and repay it on the maturity date. Buyers take on the issuer's repayment risk, so they should read the bond terms before buying.

Has Solv Vesting been audited?

Two audits are listed for the protocol, and the site has an audit reports page. An audit does not remove smart-contract risk, so read the reports and size positions accordingly.

Is Solv available in every country?

Not everywhere. The Solv app states that it does not serve users in certain countries or regions because of local laws, and the site disclaimer says it does not offer securities services to U.S. persons. Check the restricted list and your local rules before connecting a wallet.

How is Solv Vesting different from SolvBTC?

Solv Vesting is the voucher and bond tooling. SolvBTC is a separate 1:1 tokenized Bitcoin that the main site now highlights. They share a protocol brand but serve different needs.
