ActiveNirvana V2 Review 2026: A Rising Price Floor on Solana
Nirvana V2 is a Solana protocol that backs its ANA token with an algorithm-owned reserve and a floor price that only moves up. It offers interest-free, non-liquidatable credit, but it depends on new demand to keep the floor rising and carries smart-contract risk.

Our verdict on Nirvana V2
6.5/10Nirvana V2 suits experienced DeFi users who want to understand reserve-backed floor mechanics and interest-free, non-liquidatable credit on Solana. Its main strength is a clear, rules-based redemption floor for ANA with no liquidation risk on borrowing. The main caveat is that the floor depends on reserve growth, contract security and continued demand, while TVL is modest and fees, team and audit details are not published on the homepage. Beginners should read the documentation and start small.

What is Nirvana V2?
Nirvana V2 is a reserve-currency protocol on Solana. Its main token, ANA, is backed by an algorithm-owned reserve that sets a floor price. The project says this floor rises as demand and fees grow and cannot be broken.
A second token, NIRV, is a stablecoin minted against staked ANA. It lets holders borrow without interest and without liquidation risk, up to the ANA floor value. A governance token, prANA, is earned by holding ANA and gives a share of protocol revenue.
The newer Samsara product adds derivatives, each backed by a single-asset reserve. The protocol has around 2.3 million USD in total value locked, two listed audits, and has been tracked since late December 2024.
How Nirvana V2 works
Nirvana uses a reserve owned by the protocol's algorithm. When someone mints ANA, funds are added to the reserve and the floor price of ANA rises. Trading and borrowing fees also go into the reserve, so the floor can keep rising as activity grows.
Anyone holding ANA can redeem it, which burns the token and returns USDC at the floor value. That redemption right is what the project calls guaranteed principal protection. The market price can be higher than the floor, but the floor is the reference value.
Borrowing works against the same floor. Users stake ANA and can mint NIRV, a stablecoin, up to the floor value of their ANA. Because the loan is limited to the floor, which only rises, the protocol says no liquidation is needed. Samsara extends this to derivatives, with each product backed by a single-asset reserve and a rising NAV.
6 features
Key features
01
Assured Value Machine floor
The Assured Value Machine is the mathematical mechanism that sets a floor price for ANA. Minting and protocol fees add to reserves and raise the floor.
02
Liquidation-free credit
Borrowers can take zero-interest credit from protocol reserves, repay whenever they choose, and are not liquidated or stripped of collateral.
03
NIRV stablecoin
NIRV is a stablecoin minted against staked ANA, with borrowing allowed up to the floor value of the ANA.
04
prANA governance
Holding ANA earns prANA, which carries governance rights and a perpetual share of protocol revenue.
05
Samsara derivatives
Samsara derivatives are each backed by a single-asset reserve and combine leveraged exposure with a rising NAV and interest-free credit.
06
USDC redemption
ANA can be redeemed for USDC from reserves, burning the ANA, which gives holders a defined exit value.
Pros and cons
What we like
- Clear redemption mechanic: ANA can be burned for USDC at the reserve-based floor.
- Credit has no interest and no liquidation, so borrowers keep their collateral.
- Protocol fees feed the reserve, tying revenue to the floor price.
- Governance token prANA offers voting rights and a share of revenue.
- Two audits are listed for the protocol.
- Samsara adds single-asset derivatives built on the same floor model.
Watch out for
- The floor price only rises if new ANA is minted and fees accrue, so it depends on continued demand; the project's guarantee is about the reserve mechanism, not the market price.
- Redemption is in USDC from the reserve, so the floor protects principal only as far as the reserve and smart contracts work as designed.
- TVL is small, at roughly 2.3 million USD, which points to a limited user base and thin liquidity.
- The design is complex: ANA, prANA, NIRV and Samsara derivatives each have different roles and take time to understand.
- Audit details are not set out on the homepage, so readers must check the reports themselves.
- The team, legal structure and regulatory status are not published.
Nirvana V2 fees
The fee schedule for minting, redeeming and trading is not published on the homepage. Users would see exact rates in the Nirvana app before confirming a transaction.
The protocol states that trading and borrowing generate fees which feed reserves, and that credit carries zero interest. Solana network fees apply on top.
Is Nirvana V2 safe?
Two audits are listed for the protocol, but the homepage does not name the auditors or link to the reports, so readers should find and read them directly. Smart-contract risk remains, as does the risk that the reserve model behaves differently under stress than designed.
The floor guarantee is a feature of the protocol's code, not a legal or insured promise. Nirvana does not publish team details, custody arrangements or regulatory status. Treat it as an experimental DeFi product and size positions accordingly.
6 steps
How to get started with Nirvana V2
- 1
Read the protocol documentation and the audit reports before depositing funds.
- 2
Set up a Solana wallet and fund it with SOL for network fees and USDC for minting.
- 3
Open the Nirvana app from the official site and connect the wallet.
- 4
Mint ANA to add to reserves, or explore the Samsara markets if you want derivative exposure.
- 5
Stake ANA if you want to earn prANA or borrow NIRV against it.
- 6
Start small and check the displayed floor price and fees before confirming each transaction.
Who Nirvana V2 is for
Nirvana V2 is for DeFi users comfortable with Solana wallets who want exposure to a reserve-backed token with a defined redemption value, or who want to borrow without liquidation risk. It is less suited to beginners, to people who need regulated or insured products, and to anyone who cannot accept smart-contract risk.
Nirvana V2 FAQs
What is Nirvana V2?
Nirvana is a Solana-based protocol built around an algorithm-owned reserve. It issues ANA, whose redemption floor price is meant to rise as the reserve grows, and NIRV, a stablecoin borrowed against staked ANA.
What is the ANA floor price?
The floor is the minimum redemption value of ANA, set by the reserve. Minting ANA and protocol fees from trading and borrowing add to reserves, which raises the floor. Redeeming burns ANA and pays out USDC.
Can I be liquidated on Nirvana?
Nirvana describes its credit as non-liquidatable and zero-interest, drawn from protocol reserves. Borrowers do not lose their collateral if prices fall, but they are still exposed to the protocol's contract and design risk.
What is prANA?
prANA is the governance token earned by holding ANA. It lets holders vote on protocol decisions and, according to the project, gives a perpetual share of protocol revenue.
What is Samsara?
Samsara is Nirvana's derivatives product line. Each derivative is backed by a single-asset reserve, aims to multiply exposure to the underlying asset, and has a rising NAV that unlocks interest-free credit.
Is Nirvana safe?
DeFi protocols can fail through bugs, design flaws or loss of demand. The floor is a mechanism, not insurance, and TVL is modest. Read the audit reports and only risk funds you can afford to lose.
