GoodEntry Review 2026: Leveraged Trading With Built-In Protection

Our verdict on GoodEntry

5.5/10

GoodEntry suits experienced DeFi users who want to try leveraged short-term trades with a built-in downside protection design on Arbitrum. Its main strength is the idea of combining leverage with limited loss on top of Uniswap v3 liquidity. The main caveat is size: TVL of roughly $38,000, unpublished fees and little visible detail on the audits mean you should start small and read the documentation first.

What is GoodEntry?

GoodEntry is an onchain derivative exchange on Arbitrum. It focuses on leveraged day trading and describes its positions as having built-in downside protection. It is built on top of Uniswap v3.

The protocol has been tracked since May 2023 and has run through an Alpha V2 launch, announced on the team's Medium page. A vault product called ezVaults and a GOOD token that can be locked into esGOOD for governance rights round out the ecosystem.

Adoption looks small. DefiLlama shows about $38,000 in TVL, with two audits listed. The team and the audit scope are not described in the sources reviewed.

How GoodEntry works

GoodEntry is built on top of Uniswap v3, a decentralised exchange where liquidity providers place funds in price ranges. The protocol uses that liquidity to offer leveraged trades, so traders can take larger exposure than their collateral alone would allow.

The project says its positions come with built-in downside protection, meaning the structure is meant to limit losses compared with ordinary leverage. The exact mechanics are in the technical documentation, and readers should check them before relying on the protection.

Liquidity providers supply funds and earn swap and trading fees. The project states this happens without counterparty risk. A separate set of vaults, called ezVaults, shows pools such as ETH-USDC.e and ARB-USDC with projected APR figures.

6 features

Key features

01

Leveraged day trading

Traders can open leveraged positions aimed at short-term trading, such as ETH-USDC markets shown in the app.

02

Built-in downside protection

The protocol describes its leveraged positions as having built-in downside protection, which sets it apart from plain margin trading.

03

Uniswap v3 foundation

The exchange is built on Uniswap v3, using that protocol's liquidity pools as its base layer.

04

LP fee earnings

Liquidity providers earn swap and trading fees, and the project describes this as free of counterparty risk.

05

ezVaults

A vault product lists pools such as ETH-USDC.e and ARB-USDC with projected APR figures shown in the interface.

06

GOOD token and esGOOD

The GOOD token can be locked into esGOOD to gain governance rights, according to a token information page.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Combines leveraged trading with a stated downside protection mechanism
  • Built on Uniswap v3, an established liquidity base
  • Liquidity providers earn swap and trading fees, described as free of counterparty risk
  • Two audits are listed on DefiLlama
  • Public technical documentation and an active team Medium page exist
  • Governance rights available through locking GOOD into esGOOD

Watch out for

  • Very small TVL of about $38,000, which points to thin liquidity and limited adoption
  • Audit details are not described beyond a count of two listed audits, so scope and findings are unclear
  • Runs on Arbitrum only, so users need to bridge funds there
  • Leveraged trading can lose the whole collateral, and the exact protection terms are not summarised publicly
  • Fee schedule, team and regulatory status are not published in the sources reviewed
  • Depends on Uniswap v3 liquidity, so it carries that layer's smart-contract and market risks too

GoodEntry fees

GoodEntry does not publish a fee schedule in the sources reviewed. DefiLlama states only that liquidity providers earn swap and trading fees, which implies that traders pay trading fees.

Users would see actual costs in the trading interface and in the technical documentation before they open a position. On top of protocol fees, expect Arbitrum network gas costs and any funding or reserved-fee amounts shown on an order, such as the collateral line that includes a reserved fee.

Is GoodEntry safe?

DefiLlama lists two audits for GoodEntry, but the auditors, scope and findings are not detailed in the sources reviewed. The protocol relies on smart contracts and on Uniswap v3 liquidity, so it inherits contract risk from both layers. Users keep funds in their own wallets and interact with contracts directly, so there is no centralised custody, but contract bugs or oracle problems could still cause losses.

The team, legal entity and regulatory status are not published in the sources reviewed. TVL is small, which can mean wider spreads and less market depth. Leveraged derivatives are high-risk products; check the rules where you live and only trade money you can afford to lose.

6 steps

How to get started with GoodEntry

  1. 1

Read the technical documentation to understand how positions and downside protection work.

  2. 2

Set up an Arbitrum-compatible wallet and bridge a small amount of ETH for gas and a stablecoin such as USDC.

  3. 3

Open the official app and connect your wallet, checking that you are on the correct domain.

  4. 4

Review a market such as ETH-USDC, noting the size, collateral and any reserved fee before confirming.

  5. 5

Start with a small position you can afford to lose and watch how it behaves.

  6. 6

If you want to provide liquidity, compare the projected APR on the vaults with the risks before depositing.

Who GoodEntry is for

GoodEntry is for DeFi traders comfortable with Arbitrum, wallets and leveraged products who want to experiment with downside-protected positions or earn fees as a liquidity provider. It is a poor fit for beginners or anyone who needs deep liquidity and a long, well-documented track record.

GoodEntry FAQs

What is GoodEntry?

GoodEntry is an onchain derivative exchange on Arbitrum. It lets traders take leveraged positions with built-in downside protection, and it is built on top of Uniswap v3 liquidity.

Which blockchain does GoodEntry use?

DefiLlama lists GoodEntry on Arbitrum only. Users therefore need an Arbitrum-compatible wallet and funds on that network.

Does GoodEntry have a token?

Yes. Public reporting shows a GOOD token that can be locked into esGOOD in the app, which gives governance rights. DefiLlama itself does not list a token for the protocol, so check the official documentation for current details.

How do liquidity providers earn on GoodEntry?

Liquidity providers are described as earning swap and trading fees without counterparty risk. That does not remove smart-contract, market or impermanent-loss style risks, so read the documentation before depositing.

Is GoodEntry safe to use?

No. Leveraged trading can lead to losing your full collateral, and the details of how the downside protection works should be read in the technical documentation. The protocol is small, with TVL of roughly $38,000, which adds liquidity and adoption risk.

What fees does GoodEntry charge?

The sources reviewed do not publish a fee schedule. Users should check the trading interface and the documentation for current costs before opening a position.
