Our verdict on Fifa Collect
6.5/10Fifa Collect suits football fans who want officially licensed digital collectibles or a route to World Cup 2026 tickets through Right-to-Buy packs. Its main strength is that FIFA runs it, which makes the source of the content and the counterparty clear. The main caveat is cost and clarity: fees, pack odds and audits are not published in the material reviewed, and one buyer found the ticket redemption process hard to work out. The planned move to a new FIFA blockchain adds uncertainty. Treat purchases as speculative and read the drop terms first.

What is Fifa Collect?
Fifa Collect, launched in September 2022 as FIFA+ Collect, is FIFA's own platform for digital collectibles. It debuted ahead of the 2022 World Cup with video moments, art and imagery, and was built with Algorand, FIFA's blockchain partner.
The launch announcement avoided the term NFT, which one trade publication noted at the time. The product is still a blockchain-based collectible.
The platform now covers the 2026 World Cup. Its current offering includes Right-to-Buy packs, digital items that give holders a chance to buy tickets for specific matches and host cities. A July 2026 blog post describes it as a standout fan feature of the tournament.
In April 2025 it was reported that FIFA would launch its own EVM-based blockchain and migrate Fifa Collect to it. This review could not confirm whether that migration is complete.
How Fifa Collect works
Fifa Collect sells digital collectibles as tokens on a blockchain. When you buy a pack or item, the token is recorded to your account, which lets you hold it, trade it or, for some items, redeem it. The platform launched on Algorand, and FIFA announced in 2025 plans to move it to a FIFA-run EVM blockchain.
FIFA sells items in drops. Early drops centred on World Cup video moments, art and imagery. For the 2026 tournament, FIFA added Right-to-Buy packs for specific host cities and matches, which give holders the opportunity to purchase tickets.
A marketplace lets users trade items with each other and shows floor prices. A buyer must follow the redemption process to turn a Right-to-Buy item into a ticket purchase, and one buyer reported needing some research to work it out.

Pros and cons
What we like
- It is run by FIFA, so the content is officially licensed.
- Right-to-Buy packs link a digital item to a real event, the 2026 World Cup.
- A secondary marketplace shows floor prices, giving some price transparency.
- FIFA runs public AMAs and publishes updates about drops and redemption.
- The platform has operated since 2022, through more than one World Cup cycle.
Watch out for
- Ticket-linked packs are tied to specific matches and host cities, so their value depends on tournament demand and FIFA's redemption rules.
- Redeeming a Right-to-Buy collectible for tickets took research for at least one buyer, so the process may not be obvious to newcomers.
- Prices, pack odds and marketplace fees are not detailed, so total costs are hard to judge before buying.
- Collectible values can fall sharply once a tournament ends and the hype fades.
- FIFA announced in 2025 that the platform would move to a new FIFA-run EVM blockchain, so the underlying technology may change.
- Audits and custody arrangements are not published in the material reviewed.
Fifa Collect fees
Fifa Collect does not publish a full fee schedule in the material reviewed. Pack prices change from drop to drop, and the marketplace shows floor prices for listed items.
Secondary-sale fees, payment-method charges and any network costs are not stated. Check the drop page and marketplace terms before you buy.
Is Fifa Collect safe?
Fifa Collect is run by FIFA, which is a known organisation, so the counterparty is clearer than with many anonymous NFT projects. The platform launched on Algorand and FIFA has announced a move to its own chain, but audit reports and custody details are not published in the material reviewed.
The main risks are price volatility, unclear redemption rules for ticket packs and technical change from the planned blockchain migration. Do not confuse Fifa Collect with FIFA COIN, an unrelated-looking Solana-based token. Digital collectibles are speculative, so only spend what you can afford to lose. Buyers must be 18 or over where required, and should check local rules on purchasing digital assets.

Who Fifa Collect is for
Football fans and casual collectors who want official FIFA content or a chance at World Cup 2026 tickets. It is less suited to anyone who wants predictable returns or detailed fee and audit disclosure before buying.
