Blast Pre-Launch Farm Review 2026: Ended Farm, Recovery Portal

Blast's pre-launch farm took Ethereum deposits ahead of the Blast L2 rollup. The official site now works as a fund recovery portal for people who held ETH, WETH or USDB on Blast.

By the DappsAtlas editorial team · Updated

Our verdict on Blast pre-launch Farm

This is for people who deposited into Blast or held ETH, WETH or USDB on the network and want to know what they can still claim. The main strength is a simple address lookup that includes unfinished withdrawals and pays out from Ethereum contracts. The main caveat is that the farming phase is over, no audits are listed and fee and legal terms are not published. Check the URL carefully and keep your seed phrase out of any website.

What is Blast pre-launch Farm?

Blast pre-launch farm is the Ethereum-side deposit programme that Blast ran before its layer-2 rollup launched. DefiLlama tracks it in the Farm category, listed since November 2023, with about $2.1 million in TVL and the BLAST token noted.

The farming phase has ended. The official site now presents Blast Fund Recovery, which lets accounts that held ETH, WETH or USDB on Blast, or that started a withdrawal to Ethereum that never finished, claim what they are owed on Ethereum mainnet.

This review covers what the farm was and how the recovery page works. The project does not publish audits, a team list or fee details on the homepage.

How Blast pre-launch Farm works

A pre-launch farm asks users to lock assets in a contract on Ethereum before a layer-2 network goes live. The deposits earn rewards, usually points that later convert into a token airdrop. When the L2 launches, the funds are bridged to the new network or withdrawn.

Blast followed this pattern. Public reporting from early 2024 describe users depositing ETH and stablecoins, a mainnet launch in late February 2024, and large early withdrawals. One report puts that at roughly $400 million withdrawn at launch, with about 180,000 active users, though that is a single-source figure.

The current site shows a different mechanism. You look up an address, see what it can claim, and withdraw from recovery smart contracts on Ethereum. Funds that sat on Blast as ETH, WETH or USDB are claimed as ETH and DAI, and unfinished withdrawals are added automatically.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Clear recovery flow: check an address, see what it can claim, then claim.
  • Unfinished withdrawals to Ethereum are included automatically.
  • Claims come directly from smart contracts on Ethereum, without a separate custodian.
  • Supports Safe and other smart wallets through approved claimers.
  • The FAQ warns users never to type a seed phrase into a website.

Watch out for

  • The pre-launch farming phase ended when the Blast mainnet went live, so there is nothing new to farm here.
  • No audits are listed for this entry, so contract security rests on the team's reputation alone.
  • Fees, withdrawal terms and the legal basis for recovery claims are not published on the homepage.
  • Funds sat in bridge-style contracts on Ethereum, which carry smart-contract and admin-key risk.
  • Blast Mobile users must import a seed phrase into another wallet, which is risky if done carelessly.

Blast pre-launch Farm fees

The project does not publish a fee schedule for the recovery tool. Claims are withdrawn directly from smart contracts on Ethereum, so you should expect to pay standard network gas, which your wallet shows before you confirm.

No deposit, management or performance fees apply to this entry now, because the pre-launch farm is no longer taking deposits. Any terms from the original farm are not listed.

Is Blast pre-launch Farm safe?

No audits are listed for this entry. The project does not publish contract addresses, admin controls or a security report on the homepage, so users must verify these themselves before approving transactions.

The main practical risk is phishing. Recovery pages attract scammers, so reach the portal only from the official Blast site and never share a seed phrase with a website. The Blast Mobile route involves importing a seed phrase into a wallet app, which should be done only on a device you trust.

Deposited funds in the original farm sat in smart contracts on Ethereum, which carry code and admin-key risk. Regulatory status is not stated.

6 steps

How to get started with Blast pre-launch Farm

  1. 1

Confirm you are on the official Blast site and not a look-alike. Never enter a seed phrase on a website.

  2. 2

Connect the wallet that held funds on Blast, or type in the address you want to check.

  3. 3

Press Check to see what the address can claim, including any unfinished withdrawals.

  4. 4

For a Safe or other smart wallet, use an owner wallet that is approved to claim for it.

  5. 5

For Blast Mobile, import the seed phrase into a wallet app such as MetaMask or Rabby, then connect that wallet.

  6. 6

Review the claim transaction and gas cost in your wallet, then confirm the claim on Ethereum mainnet.

Who Blast pre-launch Farm is for

Former Blast depositors, Blast L2 users, Safe owners and Blast Mobile holders who need to check or claim funds on Ethereum. It is not a place to start new farming, since the pre-launch phase has ended.

Blast pre-launch Farm FAQs

What was the Blast pre-launch farm?

It was a farm for the Blast rollup before its mainnet launch. Users deposited assets on Ethereum and earned rewards tied to the upcoming network and its token.

Is the Blast pre-launch farm still active?

The homepage now presents a Blast Fund Recovery tool. It lets you check an address and claim ETH and DAI owed to accounts that held ETH, WETH or USDB on Blast. The farming phase itself ended once the L2 launched.

How do I check what I can claim?

Enter an address that held funds on Blast, or connect a wallet approved to claim for one, such as the owner of a Safe. The page shows what that address can claim. Withdrawals that were started but never finished are included automatically.

Can I claim with a Blast Mobile account?

No. Blast Mobile addresses do not exist on Ethereum, so you import the Blast Mobile seed phrase into a wallet like MetaMask or Rabby and connect that wallet. Type the seed phrase only into your wallet app, never into a website.

Do I pay fees to claim?

Claims are withdrawn directly from the recovery smart contracts on Ethereum, so you pay normal Ethereum network gas. The project does not publish any additional claim fee on its homepage.

Does the project have a token?

DefiLlama lists BLAST as the token for this entry. The project's own pages describe recovery of ETH and DAI rather than a BLAST claim.
