ActiveAlphaPing Review 2026: Morpho Vaults Chasing 14% Net APY
AlphaPing runs a small set of Morpho lending vaults on Ethereum and positions itself as a yield-first curator. It targets high net APY, but the target is not guaranteed and liquidity limits apply.

Our verdict on AlphaPing
6.0/10AlphaPing suits experienced DeFi users who already understand Morpho and want a small, actively curated lending vault with clear risk disclosures. Its main strength is a plainly explained vault structure with per-vault rates and liquidity shown up front. The main caveat is that the 14%+ figure is only a target, deposits are small, no audits are listed, and withdrawals can be delayed when liquidity is low. Treat it as a higher-risk yield position, not a savings account.

What is AlphaPing?
AlphaPing is a DeFi vault curator that manages lending vaults built on Morpho. Its homepage describes the product as tactical capital for onchain lending, with maximum net yield to depositors as the single objective. Tracked data shows it listed since May 2025 under risk curators, with vaults on Ethereum and a Hyperliquid listing.
The homepage spotlight shows three Ethereum vaults: Acuto (USDC), Hawkwood (USDC) and Villandrando (WETH). At the time of the snapshot they held about $806K, $284K and $144K, with reported net APYs of roughly 9.9%, 9.6% and 1.6%. The site frames a goal of reaching $20M in deposits so it can take larger positions and manage liquidity more actively.
A company register entry for a Swiss GmbH named Alphaping in Lucerne describes its core activity as managing DeFi vaults and strategic capital allocation, which matches the site. The project has no native token and lists no audits. The team members are not named on the homepage.
How AlphaPing works
AlphaPing operates vaults that sit on top of Morpho, an onchain lending protocol. A user deposits one asset into a vault and receives shares. The vault allocates that asset across Morpho lending markets, where borrowers pay interest to lenders.
The operator decides which markets receive capital and reassesses as rates, costs and liquidity change. Yield comes from lending activity and, where applicable, token incentives. The displayed net APY is the rate reported by Morpho after vault fees, and it moves over time.
Because capital is lent out, not all of it is available for instant withdrawal. Redemptions depend on the vault's liquidity and underlying positions. AlphaPing says it checks the current contract state before submitting a withdrawal, and that automated allocation and rebalancing tools are still being built.
6 features
Key features
01
Morpho-based lending vaults
Each vault accepts a single underlying asset and allocates it through Morpho. Depositors receive shares for their proportional interest.
02
Vault comparison directory
The site lists vaults with net APY, total assets, available liquidity and network so users can compare rates side by side.
03
Portfolio and wallet management
Users connect a wallet via Reown to deposit, withdraw and follow holdings and vault performance in one interface.
04
Whole-vault net yield focus
The stated approach counts active positions, idle capital, fees and execution costs when judging a vault's return.
05
Conditional capital allocation
The strategy reassesses exposure as rates, costs and available liquidity change, so each market has to earn its allocation.
06
Deposit threshold for listings
The directory only shows verified deployments with at least $20,000 in deposits across supported networks and vault versions, and notes that inclusion is not a recommendation.
Pros and cons
What we like
- Clear description of the mechanism: single-asset vaults allocated through Morpho, with shares for each depositor
- Transparent risk language, including loss of capital, oracle failures, depegs and liquidity limits
- Vault directory shows net APY, total assets and liquidity per vault
- Deposits and withdrawals are signed from the user's own wallet and interact directly with vault contracts
- Return target is labelled as a target, not a promise, and the site separates it from currently reported APY
Watch out for
- The 14%+ net APY figure is only a target, and current reported vault rates can be lower or fall
- Automated allocation and rebalancing are still in development and are not enabled through the website
- Withdrawals depend on available liquidity; one vault showed only a few dollars of instant liquidity and needs manual contact to withdraw more
- No audits are listed for the project, and the team and any vault-level reviews are not published on the site
- Total deposits are small, about $1.9M in tracked TVL, which gives a short track record compared with established curators
- Exposure to Morpho market risks including collateral and oracle failures, liquidation shortfalls and asset depegs
AlphaPing fees
AlphaPing does not publish a fee schedule on its homepage. It says each vault has its own asset, allocations, fees and contract configuration, and the displayed net APY is the rate reported by Morpho after vault fees.
Users should check each vault's page and contract configuration before depositing. Network gas costs apply to deposits and withdrawals, and the strategy's return calculation also counts execution costs.
Is AlphaPing safe?
Funds sit in vault contracts on Ethereum and are lent through Morpho, so users face smart contract risk in both the vault and the underlying protocol. The site lists collateral and oracle failures, liquidation shortfalls, liquidity constraints and asset depegs as exposures. Vault shares are not a senior-secured claim. No audits are listed for the project, and the homepage does not name the team.
A company register entry shows an active Swiss limited liability company called Alphaping GmbH based in Lucerne. The site states that its information is not investment advice. Users should read the risk disclosure, keep position sizes small relative to their holdings and check each vault's configuration and liquidity before depositing.
6 steps
How to get started with AlphaPing
- 1
Read the risk disclosure and the how it works section on the site, including the liquidity and loss warnings.
- 2
Open the vault directory and compare net APY, total assets and available liquidity for each vault.
- 3
Choose a vault whose underlying asset, such as USDC or WETH, matches what you want to hold.
- 4
Check the vault's allocations, fees and contract configuration on its details page.
- 5
Connect a wallet through Reown and sign the deposit transaction on Ethereum.
- 6
Track your shares and vault performance in the portfolio view, and check liquidity before requesting a withdrawal.
Who AlphaPing is for
AlphaPing is for DeFi users comfortable with lending-vault risk who want exposure to Morpho markets through a curator. It is less suited to beginners, to anyone who needs guaranteed instant withdrawals, or to those who require audited, long-established products.
AlphaPing FAQs
What is AlphaPing?
AlphaPing manages DeFi lending vaults built on Morpho. Users deposit one asset, such as USDC or WETH, and receive vault shares that represent their proportional interest in the vault.
What yield does AlphaPing offer?
The stated strategy objective is 14%+ projected whole-vault net APY, including idle capital, fees and execution costs. The site describes it as a target, not an achieved or guaranteed yield. Reported vault rates shown on the site were lower for some vaults and around 9.6% to 9.9% for the two USDC vaults at the time of the homepage snapshot.
Can I withdraw from AlphaPing at any time?
Not always. Withdrawals depend on each vault's available liquidity and underlying positions, and a transaction can fail or be delayed. For one vault the site notes that withdrawing more than the instantly available amount requires contacting the team to free up capital manually.
Is AlphaPing safe?
Yes, capital can be lost. The site lists smart contract faults, collateral and oracle failures, liquidation shortfalls, liquidity constraints and asset depegs. Vault shares do not give a senior-secured debt claim, and the site says it is not investment advice.
Does AlphaPing allocate funds automatically?
Not currently. The site says automated allocation tooling is in development and that depositing does not activate automatic routing between vaults or networks. The strategies are described as managed by AlphaPing within each vault's permitted markets and limits.
How do I deposit into AlphaPing?
The site says you connect a wallet through Reown to deposit, withdraw and track holdings. Transactions are signed in your wallet and interact directly with the vault contracts.
