## What is Silencio?
Silencio is a project building a network to collect speech recordings and transcriptions for use in AI systems. Its stated focus is languages, dialects and accents that may be underrepresented in existing speech datasets. The project says contributors record and transcribe speech in their own languages, with consent, and that the resulting data is sold to AI companies. It describes its network as having more than 2.5 million users across over 185 countries; these are project-reported figures.
The idea is to gather speech data from people rather than rely only on material scraped from the internet. Silencio says contributors can receive SLC or stablecoins for their work. Its description also says it has contracts and repeat orders from AI labs, but prospective users should treat commercial uptake and future demand as project claims, not a guarantee of continued revenue. SLC is the network’s token, rather than a general-purpose AI token with a separately established role in every AI system.
## What is SLC used for?
SLC is used to reward people who contribute speech recordings and transcriptions to the Silencio network. The project also says that sales of its data fund SLC buybacks, using cash collected and tracked in a public wallet. A buyback mechanism, if carried out, does not guarantee a particular token price or ensure that the amount of buying will offset new supply or market selling.
The public description does not establish SLC as a governance token, a payment requirement for every network service, or a token used for blockchain consensus. No consensus or hashing role is specified. Its value therefore depends in part on whether the network continues to attract contributors and customers, how the project handles collected revenue, and whether token rewards and any buybacks create durable demand. SLC is not a claim on company equity or a guaranteed share of data-sale income based on the information described here.
## Supply and supported chains
SLC has a stated maximum supply of 100 billion tokens. As of November 5, 2026, the reported circulating supply was about 39.5 billion, while total supply was about 98.8 billion. The difference between circulating and maximum supply matters: tokens not currently circulating may enter the market over time, depending on the project’s distribution and release plans. Check current token information before relying on these figures.
SLC is listed as issued on Peaq, Solana, Ethereum and Base, but the project’s own description specifically says SLC is live on Solana. SLC is not identified as the native token of any of those chains. These listings do not necessarily mean that every wallet or service supports every version, or that tokens can be moved freely between networks. At the stated date, its price was about $0.000289 and its market capitalization about $11.4 million; both figures change constantly and are not forecasts.
## Risks to understand
SLC carries the usual risks of a small, volatile crypto asset. Its price can change sharply, and the project’s ability to sell speech data or attract customers may not match its stated goals. Contributor activity also does not by itself prove that data buyers will continue purchasing or that revenue will support token buybacks. Buybacks are a project-described mechanism, not a guaranteed return to holders.
Supply is another consideration: the reported total supply is close to the stated maximum, but circulating supply is substantially lower. Changes in the amount of SLC available to trade can affect market conditions. The project’s model also depends on collecting speech data with valid consent and handling recordings and personal information responsibly. Users should consider privacy, data rights and how contributor consent is obtained. Multi-chain token deployments bring extra risks, including choosing the wrong network, relying on unsupported bridges, or interacting with a counterfeit token.
## How to store SLC
To store SLC, use a wallet that explicitly supports the network and token deployment you intend to use. Since the project identifies Solana as live while SLC is also listed on Peaq, Ethereum and Base, check the current official Silencio app or project materials for the correct network and token details before receiving or sending funds. Do not assume that a token on one chain can be sent directly to another; use only a transfer route the project or a trusted service explicitly supports.
For self-custody, keep your recovery phrase private and offline, and never enter it into a website or message claiming to offer support. A transaction sent to the wrong address or chain may be difficult or impossible to recover. If holding SLC through an exchange, check which network the exchange supports for deposits and withdrawals, along with any applicable limits. Always make a small test transfer when appropriate, and verify the recipient address and network before confirming.
By the numbers
Silencio in numbers
Silencio (SLC) is ranked #1,197 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $10.6M and a price of $0.0002688 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $26.6M, so roughly 40% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was up 9.8% over 7 days, up 146% over 30 days, up 58.8% over the past year. It trades about 56% below its all-time high of $0.0006119, set on Feb 2, 2025.
About 39.51B SLC are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 100B (40% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $208K, or 2.0% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
SLC has token contracts on 4 chains we track, including Peaq, Solana, Ethereum, Base. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
CoinGecko groups SLC under AI tokens, DePIN tokens.

SLC FAQs
What is Silencio (SLC) used for?
SLC rewards contributors who record or transcribe speech for Silencio. The project also says revenue from data sales funds token buybacks, but this does not guarantee a return or a particular price.
What is the maximum supply of SLC?
The stated maximum supply is 100 billion SLC. As of November 5, 2026, about 39.5 billion were reported in circulation and about 98.8 billion in total supply; these figures can change.
Which networks support SLC?
SLC is listed as issued on Peaq, Solana, Ethereum and Base. Silencio’s description specifically identifies Solana as live, so check the project’s current token information before using another network.
How can I store Silencio tokens?
Use a wallet that supports the specific SLC deployment and network you plan to use. Verify token details through current official project materials, and do not assume SLC can be transferred directly between chains.
What are the main risks of SLC?
SLC’s price can be volatile, and contributor activity or project-reported customer demand does not guarantee ongoing data sales or buybacks. Supply changes, privacy practices and mistakes involving multi-chain transfers are additional risks.
What is the market cap of Silencio?
As of Nov 6, 2026, Silencio had a market cap of about $10.6M, ranking #1,197 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of SLC?
Silencio's all-time high is $0.0006119, reached on Feb 2, 2025. Its all-time low is $0.00002367 (Jul 20, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of SLC?
As of Nov 6, 2026, about 39.51B SLC were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 100B.
Which blockchains is SLC on?
It has token contracts on Peaq, Solana, Ethereum, Base.
