What Quantus is
Quantus Network is described as a Proof-of-Work Layer 1 blockchain built to protect assets from quantum computers. Its central claim is that post-quantum cryptography is built into the protocol itself rather than added later. The project argues that the elliptic curve signatures used by many blockchains would become breakable once large quantum computers, using Shor's algorithm, exist, so Quantus moves to lattice-based primitives instead. The stack uses Parity Substrate. The network is designed to handle value transfer, manage accounts and support apps, with security and self-custody described as priorities. Some public write-ups call it purpose-built for private peer-to-peer electronic cash, but how private it is in practice should be checked against the project's technical documentation. Because the project is early and its claims come from the project itself, treat them as unverified until independent reviews are available.
How the cryptography works
According to the project description, transactions are signed with Dilithium, which is standardised as ML-DSA, a signature scheme approved by NIST. Peer-to-peer connections are secured with ML-KEM, a NIST-approved key encapsulation method. Post-quantum signatures are much larger than classic ones, which can slow a chain down. Quantus says it uses zero-knowledge aggregation, built with Plonky2 and Poseidon2, to keep throughput high despite these bigger signatures. The network uses Proof-of-Work for consensus. the public information available do not state which hashing algorithm it uses, what block times look like or how mature the software is, so readers should look for those details in the official technical materials before drawing conclusions about performance or security.
What the QTC token is used for
QTC is described in public sources as the native asset of the Quantus blockchain. Within the network, it is tied to value transfer, account activity and app use, which is the broad purpose the project gives for the chain. The project does not spell out details such as transaction fee mechanics, staking, governance voting or any reward programme, so these should not be assumed. Some search listings present QTC as a tradable asset, but a token being tradable does not show that it has a defined role in the network. If you want to understand what QTC does in practice, the most reliable sources are the project's own documentation and its published protocol rules, which should describe how the token moves and what it pays for.
Supply and market data
As of 2026-11-05, the data showed QTC at about $71.61, with a market capitalisation of about $23.2 million and a rank of 768 by market cap. The fully diluted valuation was about $413.7 million, and 24-hour trading volume was about $1.4 million. The price was down about 8.4 percent over seven days. Circulating supply was about 324,469 QTC, total supply about 5.78 million and the stated maximum 21 million. The gap between circulating supply and the maximum means that much of the supply has not yet entered circulation, which can affect future selling pressure, though the timing is not given here. The all-time high was about $186.19 on 2026-10-08 and the all-time low about $10.20 on 2026-09-12. These figures change constantly and are shown only as a snapshot.
Chains, risks and storage
The data lists QTC as issued on the Near network and does not name it as the native token of any chain. Public reporting says the token launched in early October 2026 through NEAR Intents, and one listing page refers to trading on Solana through a consumer wallet. Before buying or sending QTC, confirm which network you are using and that the token contract matches the one on the official project channels, since mismatched networks can lead to lost funds. Risks include a very young token, price swings in both directions over a short period, and trading volume that is small compared with the fully diluted valuation, which can make large trades move the price. Cross-chain and intent-based trading add technical risk. Quantum-resistance claims are unproven until tested in practice. Store any QTC in a wallet you control, keep recovery phrases offline and never share them. This is research, not investment advice.
By the numbers
Quantus in numbers
Quantus (QTC) is ranked #758 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $23.0M and a price of $70.53 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $408M, so roughly 6% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 6.4% over 7 days, down 30.8% over 30 days. It trades about 62% below its all-time high of $186.19, set on Oct 8, 2026.
About 326.09K QTC are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 21M (2% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $1.23M, or 5.3% of its market cap: moderate turnover.
QTC has token contracts on Near. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
CoinGecko groups QTC under Layer 1 tokens.

QTC FAQs
What is QTC?
QTC is the token associated with the Quantus blockchain. Public descriptions call it the network's native asset, and the project says the network handles value transfer, accounts and apps. the public information available do not give full detail on fees, staking or governance.
Is Quantus quantum resistant?
The project says it is. Quantus describes using NIST-approved signature and encryption schemes, including Dilithium (ML-DSA) for transactions and ML-KEM for peer-to-peer links. These are claims from the project, so they should be checked against independent technical reviews.
Where can I buy QTC?
Public reporting mentions trading through NEAR Intents and a wallet listing that refers to Solana. Because the token is listed as issued on Near, confirm the network and contract address on the official project channels before buying, to avoid sending funds to the wrong chain.
What is the maximum supply of QTC?
The stated maximum supply is 21 million QTC. As of 2026-11-05, the circulating supply was about 324,469 and the total supply about 5.78 million, so a large part of the maximum had not yet been issued.
Is QTC a good investment?
This page does not offer buy or sell advice or price predictions. The token has had a very wide price range in a short period, with the all-time high far above the all-time low, so any decision should reflect your own research and your ability to absorb losses.
What is the market cap of Quantus?
As of Nov 6, 2026, Quantus had a market cap of about $23.0M, ranking #758 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of QTC?
Quantus's all-time high is $186.19, reached on Oct 8, 2026. Its all-time low is $10.20 (Sep 12, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of QTC?
As of Nov 6, 2026, about 326.09K QTC were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 21M.
Which blockchains is QTC on?
It has token contracts on Near.
