Polytrade (TRADE): Uses, Supply and Risks

Polytrade describes itself as a launchpad for AI-powered finance products. It builds and operates its own products and says it is extending its infrastructure to outside teams. Its current product suite includes Polytrade Finance, which assesses trade receivables for financing, and Ledgerless, AI-assisted accounting software for trading small and medium-sized businesses in the United Arab Emirates. A third product, Edge, is in development for tokenised equities and other real-world assets.

TRADE is described as Polytrade’s network token. Public sources do not specify detailed token-holder rights or confirm particular uses such as paying fees, staking, governance, or receiving product access. Those uses should not be assumed. Polytrade also authored ERC-6960, a standard for representing real-world assets with a dual-layer token structure; ERC-6960 is a technical standard, not another name for TRADE. The clearest publicly described role for TRADE is as Polytrade’s network token. The project information does not spell out a specific utility or tell holders that the token confers ownership, income, voting rights, or a claim on Polytrade’s financing activity. Polytrade Finance is a separate product: it verifies trade receivables against source documents, underwrites them, and publishes its assessments. Its participations are tokenised using ERC-6960 and settle on Polygon, Base, and Robinhood Chain, with senior and junior tranches and capacity limits for each chain. These product details do not mean TRADE holders automatically participate in the financing. Ledgerless focuses on bookkeeping, VAT and corporate tax preparation, and receivables follow-up for UAE trading businesses. Edge remains in development, so its intended features may change.

TRADE has a fixed maximum and total supply of 100 million tokens. The reported circulating supply is also 100 million, meaning the full stated supply is circulating according to the figures available for this page. Polytrade does not have a native blockchain listed here; TRADE is issued on Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Base, and Polygon.
