## What Parallel (PAR) is
Parallel (PAR) is a euro-pegged stablecoin created through Mimo Protocol, a collateralized debt position (CDP) protocol deployed on Ethereum, Polygon and Fantom. PAR is designed as a decentralized, non-custodial synthetic asset whose value tracks the euro. The project describes it as overcollateralized, meaning collateral is intended to back more value than the PAR issued. Mimo Protocol says vMIMO holders control the stablecoin’s governance.
PAR is not the same asset as Parallel Finance’s PARA token, despite the similar names. Nor is PAR the native token of Ethereum, Polygon or Fantom: it is issued on those networks. A euro peg also does not mean PAR is a bank deposit or a claim on euros held in a conventional bank account. Its value depends on the protocol, collateral and market mechanisms maintaining the peg.
## What PAR is used for
PAR’s stated purpose is to represent euro value on supported blockchain networks. Stablecoins like PAR can be used to hold or transfer value, or as an asset within decentralized finance applications, where supported. Mimo Protocol’s CDP model links PAR issuance to collateral, and the project describes PAR as overcollateralized and redeemable. The exact collateral requirements and redemption process may depend on the protocol’s current rules, so check the relevant Mimo Protocol documentation before relying on them.
Public sources do not establish that PAR provides a guaranteed yield, payment service or fixed return. A euro peg is a target, not a promise that every PAR can always be exchanged for exactly one euro in every market or at any time. PAR’s market price is generally quoted in other currencies, so its displayed value can also move as exchange rates change.
## Supply, market figures and networks
As of 2026-11-05, PAR had about 2,240,894 tokens in circulation, matching its reported total supply. A maximum supply was not specified. The supply can be relevant to understanding how much PAR is in circulation, but it does not show how much collateral backs the token or whether the euro peg is holding at a particular moment.
On that date, PAR traded at about $1.21, with a reported market capitalization of about $2.7 million and 24-hour trading volume of about $438. These are time-sensitive market figures, not fixed properties of the token. PAR was reported as issued on Ethereum, Fantom and Polygon; it is not listed as the native token of any chain. Make sure you distinguish the network you intend to use, since token balances and transaction fees are network-specific.
## Risks and storage
PAR carries the risks of both a stablecoin and a smart-contract-based DeFi asset. Its market price can move away from its euro target if collateral values fall, markets become illiquid, protocol mechanisms fail or users lose confidence. Overcollateralization and stated redeemability do not remove these risks. Smart-contract bugs, governance decisions, chain outages and mistakes when transferring tokens can also lead to losses. A token issued on several networks may have different contracts and liquidity on each one.
To store PAR, use a wallet that supports the network on which your tokens are held. Before receiving or sending it, verify the network and the token contract through a trusted project source; a matching name or ticker alone is not enough to identify a genuine token. Keep your recovery phrase private and offline, and never share it to access a wallet or claim tokens. If using a custodial service, check its supported networks and withdrawal terms. This is general information, not a recommendation to buy or use PAR.
By the numbers
Parallel in numbers
Parallel (PAR) is ranked #2,140 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $2.65M and a price of $1.18 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($2.65M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was down 1.9% over 7 days, down 2.9% over 30 days, down 0.3% over the past year. It trades about 86% below its all-time high of $8.68, set on Mar 28, 2026.
About 2.24M PAR are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.
24-hour trading volume was about $310, or 0.0% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
PAR has token contracts on 3 chains we track, including Ethereum, Fantom, Polygon. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

PAR FAQs
What is Parallel (PAR)?
PAR is designed to track the euro, rather than the US dollar. Its market price can still move away from that target, and a euro peg is not a guarantee of a fixed exchange value.
How is PAR backed?
Mimo Protocol describes PAR as overcollateralized and redeemable, with governance controlled by vMIMO holders. The collateral, protocol rules and available redemption routes matter, so the peg and redemption should not be treated as risk-free guarantees.
Which networks support PAR?
PAR is reported as issued on Ethereum, Polygon and Fantom. Check the specific network and token contract before transferring or storing it, because a token on one network is not automatically the same as a balance on another.
How many PAR tokens are there?
The reported circulating and total supply were both about 2,240,894 PAR as of 2026-11-05. A maximum supply was not specified, and supply figures can change.
What are the risks of holding PAR?
PAR can lose its euro peg, and users also face smart-contract, collateral, governance, network and liquidity risks. Use a compatible wallet, verify the network and contract, and protect your recovery phrase.
What is the market cap of Parallel?
As of Nov 6, 2026, Parallel had a market cap of about $2.65M, ranking #2,140 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of PAR?
Parallel's all-time high is $8.68, reached on Mar 28, 2026. Its all-time low is $0.1577 (Sep 7, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of PAR?
As of Nov 6, 2026, about 2.24M PAR were in circulation; no fixed maximum supply is listed.
Which blockchains is PAR on?
It has token contracts on Ethereum, Fantom, Polygon.
