What OpenGradient is

OpenGradient describes itself as a decentralized infrastructure network for hosting, running and verifying AI models. It is not a standalone blockchain. Instead, it works as an AI coprocessor, letting applications, blockchains and autonomous agents send computationally heavy AI tasks to a network of GPU and Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) nodes. Before each result is committed on-chain, the validator set checks a computational proof, which is either a TEE attestation or a zkML proof. The stated goal is to let any network or application use AI without having to trust a single operator. Public materials frame the project as a response to scalability and verifiability problems in AI infrastructure. The launch date and consensus design are not in the data used for this page, so they are not covered here.

What the token is used for

Secondary write-ups in public reporting describes OPG as the native token of the OpenGradient network. They list several uses: paying for AI inference, staking, governance and ecosystem growth. One source says OPG is used mainly to pay for large language model inference through the x402 payment standard, with full nodes handling settlement and fee distribution. These are third-party descriptions and were not checked against the project's own documentation for this page, so read the current official docs before relying on them. A token used to pay network fees only has real demand if people actually buy the network's AI services, so usage levels matter as much as the design on paper.

Supply and market data

At the time of writing, as of 2026-11-05, OPG was ranked about 671st by market capitalization. The snapshot showed a price near 0.12 US dollars, a market capitalization of about 28.8 million dollars and a fully diluted valuation of about 120.4 million dollars. Trading volume over 24 hours was about 3.0 million dollars. Circulating supply was about 239.1 million tokens, against a total and maximum supply of 1 billion, so roughly a quarter of the supply was in circulation. The price was roughly 75% below its all-time high of about 0.48 dollars, reached on 2026-04-22, and roughly 47% above its all-time low of about 0.082 dollars, reached on 2026-08-28. These figures come from one snapshot, change constantly and say nothing about future prices. The gap between market cap and fully diluted valuation shows that much of the supply has not yet entered circulation.

Chains where OPG is issued

OPG is issued on Base, Mantle and BNB Chain. The data lists no native chain for the token, so these are issued versions rather than the chain the token originated on. Multi-chain issuance means separate token contracts exist on each network, and moving tokens between them usually relies on bridges, which add smart contract risk. Category tags in the data include BNB Chain, Mantle and Base ecosystem labels, plus tags for Binance Alpha and a Binance Wallet IDO. One search result mentions an upcoming spot listing on Bybit. Exchange listing news can change trading access and volume, but it does not show whether the network is being used or whether the token will hold value.

Risks and how to store it

OPG carries the usual risks of a small, volatile crypto asset. Its price has moved widely within the period covered by the data, and it has a short trading history. Circulating supply is well below the maximum, so future token releases could add selling pressure, but the release schedule was not in the data reviewed here. The network's security claims rest on TEE hardware, which requires trust in chip makers and their attestation process, and on zkML proofs, which are complex and still maturing. Bridged versions on several chains add contract and bridge risk. To store OPG, use a self-custody wallet that you control and keep your seed phrase offline and private. Confirm the token contract address for the chain you are using through the project's official channels, not through public reporting or links shared in chats. Consider starting with a small test transfer. This is general information, not financial advice.

By the numbers

OpenGradient in numbers

OpenGradient (OPG) is ranked #671 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $28.0M and a price of $0.1171 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $117M, so roughly 24% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.

The price was down 4.2% over 7 days, down 14.6% over 30 days. It trades about 76% below its all-time high of $0.4816, set on Apr 22, 2026.

About 239.1M OPG are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 1B (24% issued).

24-hour trading volume was about $3.59M, or 13% of its market cap: high turnover.

OPG has token contracts on 3 chains we track, including Base, Mantle, BNB Chain. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

OPG is linked to Opengradient, which we cover in our Cross Chain Bridge rankings. See our Opengradient page for how the protocol works and how we score it.

OPG FAQs

What is OPG used for?

Secondary sources describe OPG as the native token of the OpenGradient network. They say it is used to pay for AI inference, for staking and for governance. These descriptions were not checked against the project's own documentation, so confirm current uses there.

Is OpenGradient a blockchain?

No. OpenGradient describes itself as a decentralized AI infrastructure network that acts as a coprocessor, not a standalone blockchain. The data lists no native chain for OPG, which is issued on Base, Mantle and BNB Chain.

Which chains is OPG on?

The data lists OPG as issued on Base, Mantle and BNB Chain. Each one has its own token contract, so check the contract address for the network you are using.

What is the maximum supply of OPG?

The maximum and total supply are both 1 billion tokens. At the time of writing, as of 2026-11-05, about 239.1 million were in circulation, so most of the supply was not yet circulating.

Is OPG a good investment?

This page does not give buy or sell advice and cannot predict price. The token's price has been volatile, and past moves in the data do not show what will happen next. Only spend what you can afford to lose, and review the project's documentation and risks yourself.

What is the market cap of OpenGradient?

As of Nov 6, 2026, OpenGradient had a market cap of about $28.0M, ranking #671 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of OPG?

OpenGradient's all-time high is $0.4816, reached on Apr 22, 2026. Its all-time low is $0.0820 (Aug 28, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
