## What is Marlin (POND)?

Marlin is a project building network infrastructure for decentralized applications and blockchain networks. Its stated focus is improving how these systems communicate and handle computing tasks. Marlin also describes work on verifiable computing, including coprocessors that use trusted execution environments (TEEs) and zero-knowledge (ZK) techniques. These tools are intended to let applications delegate certain workloads, but the exact role and availability of each feature can depend on the project’s current implementation.

POND is Marlin’s utility and governance token. It is not itself a blockchain, and public sources do not identify Ethereum or Arbitrum as chains native to POND. Rather, the token has been issued on both networks. Marlin’s infrastructure goals do not guarantee that applications will adopt its services or that use of the network will create demand for POND.

## What is POND used for?

POND is used for staking connected with validator participation in the Marlin network. Staking can help support network operations, but it also exposes participants to protocol-specific risks, such as penalties or loss of access to staked tokens, depending on the rules in effect. Check Marlin’s current documentation before delegating or locking tokens, including any minimums, withdrawal periods and slashing conditions.

POND is also associated with Marlin governance: holders can make or vote on proposals concerning the ecosystem. The scope of those decisions and the process for participating may change, so token ownership alone should not be taken to mean that every holder has equal influence or that all decisions are made on-chain. POND’s uses depend on the network and its governance systems being active and maintained. A token’s stated utility is not a promise of returns or a guarantee that the network will be widely used.

## Supply and supported networks

POND has a maximum and total supply of 10 billion tokens. About 8.23 billion were circulating as of the reported figures, leaving the difference between circulating and total supply outside the circulating amount. That difference does not, by itself, show when or how any tokens may enter circulation; check current token disclosures for allocation and release details.

POND has been issued on Ethereum and Arbitrum. These are separate networks, so transferring or holding tokens requires selecting the correct network and using a compatible wallet or service. A token shown on one network may not be interchangeable with a token on another without an appropriate bridge or supported transfer route. Verify the asset and network in your wallet before sending. Do not rely on a ticker alone, since unrelated or imitation tokens can use the same symbol.

## Price context and market risks

As of 2026-11-05, POND’s reported market price was about $0.0012, with a market capitalization of about $10 million. These are time-sensitive figures and can change quickly; they are not a measure of Marlin’s technical performance or a guarantee of future value. The reported historical high was about $0.323 in December 2020, while the reported historical low was about $0.00066 in August 2026. Past prices do not predict future prices.

POND’s value can be affected by broad crypto-market moves, liquidity, token distribution, project development, network usage and changes to the token’s role. A relatively small market capitalization or trading volume can also mean that individual trades have a larger effect on the quoted price. Consider these uncertainties before making decisions, and do not treat market data or the token’s intended utility as personalized financial advice.

## Risks and storing POND

POND carries the risks common to crypto tokens: its price can fall sharply, trading may be illiquid, and software, governance or security failures could affect the network or token holders. Marlin’s success depends in part on whether its infrastructure is developed, maintained and adopted. Staking adds its own risks, including lockup rules and any penalties set by the protocol. Token supply figures and governance arrangements should be checked against current project information.

For self-custody, use a wallet that supports the network on which your POND is held, and keep recovery phrases and private keys offline and secret. Never share them with someone claiming to provide support. Confirm the token contract and network through trusted project materials before receiving or sending tokens; this page does not provide contract addresses. If using a custodial platform, understand its custody and withdrawal terms. Sending tokens to an incompatible network or address can result in permanent loss.

By the numbers

Marlin in numbers

Marlin (POND) is ranked #1,256 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $9.71M and a price of $0.001180 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $11.8M, so roughly 82% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.

The price was down 4.7% over 7 days, down 35.5% over 30 days, down 77.2% over the past year. It trades about 100% below its all-time high of $0.3234, set on Dec 21, 2020.

About 8.23B POND are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 10B (82% issued).

24-hour trading volume was about $884K, or 9.1% of its market cap: high turnover.

POND has token contracts on 2 chains we track, including Ethereum, Arbitrum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

CoinGecko groups POND under AI tokens, Infrastructure tokens, Zero-knowledge (ZK) tokens.

POND FAQs

What is POND?

POND is Marlin’s utility and governance token. It is used for staking associated with validator participation and for taking part in governance proposals.

What does the Marlin project do?

Marlin is focused on network infrastructure for decentralized applications and blockchain networks. Its work also includes verifiable computing approaches using TEE and ZK-based coprocessors.

What is the maximum supply of POND?

POND has a maximum supply of 10 billion tokens. About 8.23 billion were circulating in the reported figures; supply and circulation information can change, so check current disclosures.

Which networks support POND?

POND has been issued on Ethereum and Arbitrum. Check which network a wallet or service supports before transferring, and verify the token’s identity rather than relying on its ticker alone.

Can POND be staked?

POND’s uses include staking connected with validator participation and governance. Staking terms, including possible lockups or penalties, depend on the protocol rules and should be checked before participating.

What are the risks of holding POND?

POND can lose value, and liquidity, technical, governance and adoption risks may affect holders. Staking may involve additional risks, and crypto assets are not guaranteed to retain value.

What is the market cap of Marlin?

As of Nov 6, 2026, Marlin had a market cap of about $9.71M, ranking #1,256 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of POND?

Marlin's all-time high is $0.3234, reached on Dec 21, 2020. Its all-time low is $0.0006623 (Aug 17, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
