What CTR Is
Citrea describes itself as a zero-knowledge (ZK) rollup that settles on Bitcoin. Its project description says it verifies zero-knowledge proofs on-chain through BitVM, aims to keep Bitcoin-level security, and runs smart contracts through an in-house Type 2 zkEVM. CTR is the native token of that network. The project also refers to a compliant stablecoin called ctUSD, issued by MoonPay, and a trust-minimized bridge for BTC called Clementine. Public reporting describes Citrea as a Bitcoin application layer meant to support decentralized applications and capital markets. Those descriptions are useful for orientation, but they are summaries and not technical documentation. Anyone who wants the design details should read the project's own materials and any independent technical reviews.
What the Token Is Used For
Public sources supplied do not give a complete list of what CTR does on the network. Public reporting describes CTR as a coordination asset for the Citrea ecosystem, meaning a token meant to help direct liquidity and activity across applications. One search result describes a vote-escrow model in which holders stake CTR to receive a staked form called xCTR, which carries voting power over a governance treasury. That is a third-party description and has not been checked here against the project's documentation. Whether CTR is used to pay network fees is not stated. Readers should confirm each use case in primary sources before treating it as settled, since token functions can change through governance or upgrades.
Supply and Market Data
As of 2026-11-05, the data showed CTR at about $0.0144, with a market capitalization of about $21.6 million and a fully diluted valuation of about $144.2 million. The 24-hour trading volume was about $3.7 million, and the token ranked 810th by market capitalization. The circulating supply was about 1.5 billion CTR, out of a total and maximum supply of 10 billion. That means roughly 15% of the maximum supply was circulating at the time. The all-time high was about $0.0387 on 2026-05-26, and the all-time low was about $0.00702 on 2026-07-27. Over seven days the price was about 0.15% higher, and no one-year change was available. These figures change constantly and are not predictions of future prices.
Chains and Listings
CTR is the native token of the Citrea chain. The data also lists it as issued on Base, which means a version of the token exists on that Ethereum layer 2 network as well. Readers should confirm which contract address matches which network, because a token with the same name and symbol on a different chain is not the same asset in practice. Moving tokens between chains typically requires a bridge, and bridges carry their own risks. Several public reporting report exchange listings, including a June 2026 report of CTR being available on UPbit and Bithumb, and a May 2026 article about a KuCoin listing. A listing means a platform has made the token tradable there. It does not confirm the project's quality or the token's future value.
Risks and Storage
CTR's price has been volatile. Based on the figures above, the all-time low sat roughly 82% below the all-time high, and both extremes were reached within about two months of each other in 2026. Only about 15% of the maximum supply was circulating at the time of the data, so the release of additional tokens could affect supply and price, but public sources provided do not include an unlock schedule. Smart contract bugs, bridge failures and changes to governance rules are other possible risks. For storage, use a wallet you control, consider a hardware wallet for larger holdings, and never share your seed phrase. Before sending funds, confirm the network, the token contract address and the destination, because transfers to the wrong chain can be hard to recover. By the numbers
Citrea in numbers
Citrea (CTR) is ranked #803 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $21.3M and a price of $0.0142 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $142M, so roughly 15% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was up 2.3% over 7 days, up 12.4% over 30 days. It trades about 63% below its all-time high of $0.0387, set on May 26, 2026.
About 1.5B CTR are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 10B (15% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $3.71M, or 17% of its market cap: high turnover.
CTR is the native token of Citrea; it also has token contracts on Base. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

CTR FAQs
What is CTR used for?
CTR is the native token of the Citrea network, a zero-knowledge rollup that settles on Bitcoin. Public descriptions link it to coordinating activity in the Citrea ecosystem and to a governance model, but the details should be checked in the project's own documentation.
Is CTR available on Base as well as Citrea?
The data lists CTR as issued on Citrea and on Base. Each version is a separate deployment, so readers should confirm the correct contract address and network before buying, sending or bridging.
What is the maximum supply of CTR?
The maximum and total supply are both listed as 10 billion CTR, and about 1.5 billion were circulating as of 2026-11-05 according to the data. Future releases of tokens are not detailed.
Where can CTR be traded?
Public reporting report that CTR was listed on the South Korean exchanges UPbit and Bithumb in June 2026, and on KuCoin in May 2026. Availability can differ by country, and readers should check whether a platform is permitted where they live.
Is CTR a good investment?
This page does not give buy or sell advice or price predictions. The token has changed sharply in value in 2026, and anyone considering it should research the project, understand the risks, and only use funds they can afford to lose.
What is the market cap of Citrea?
As of Nov 6, 2026, Citrea had a market cap of about $21.3M, ranking #803 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of CTR?
Citrea's all-time high is $0.0387, reached on May 26, 2026. Its all-time low is $0.007022 (Jul 27, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of CTR?
As of Nov 6, 2026, about 1.5B CTR were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 10B.
Which blockchains is CTR on?
CTR is the native token of Citrea. It has token contracts on Base.
