Zircuit Review 2026: Zk-Rollup, Bridge and Yield Hub

Zircuit is an EVM-compatible zk-rollup on Ethereum, tracked here for its canonical bridge, and it also runs a yield app and a staking hub. Its pitch is security first, but most of the safety claims come from the project itself.

Our verdict on Zircuit

7.0/10

Zircuit suits Ethereum users who want an EVM-compatible zk-rollup with a bridge, institutional-style yield vaults and an LST/LRT staking hub in one place. Its main strength is the breadth of its products and the named audits and yield partners. The main caveat is that the security and yield claims are mostly self-reported, no fees are published, and the tracked bridge TVL is modest. Read the audits and vault terms before depositing.

What is Zircuit?

Zircuit is an EVM-compatible zk-rollup that settles on Ethereum. DefiLlama tracks it as a canonical bridge, with about $4.66 million in TVL and a 2.9% rise over seven days. Its token is ZRC.

The homepage positions Zircuit as a safe haven for onchain finance. It says the network has protected over $3 billion in assets, and that the team includes PhDs and Ethereum Foundation recognized researchers. These are the project's own claims.

Beyond the chain, Zircuit runs Zircuit Finance, which advertises 8–11% APR on BTC, ETH and USD deposits, and the Zircuit Liquidity Hub for staking LRTs and LSTs. It lists Dragonfly, Pantera and YZiLabs as backers.

How Zircuit works

Zircuit is a zk-rollup, a Layer 2 network that batches transactions and posts proofs to Ethereum to settle them. Because it is EVM-compatible, developers can reuse Ethereum code and tools such as MetaMask and Foundry. Users move assets in through a bridge, which is the part DefiLlama tracks as a canonical bridge.

On top of the chain, Zircuit Finance offers vaults for BTC, ETH and USD. The homepage says yield comes from institutional firms such as FalconX, Fidelity Investments, Forteus and Monarq. Users deposit and earn, while the strategies are run by those managers.

The Liquidity Hub is a separate product for staking LRTs and LSTs to earn rewards. Zircuit also offers grants for builders, an explorer and a bug bounty program.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • EVM-compatible zk-rollup, so Ethereum apps and tools such as MetaMask and Foundry work out of the box.
  • Offers both a native bridge and a fast bridge (Rhino).
  • Zircuit Finance contracts are said to be audited by Zenith and Quantstamp.
  • Runs a bug bounty program and a grants program for builders.
  • Offers yield on BTC, ETH and USD plus a staking hub for LSTs and LRTs under one brand.
  • Names its institutional yield sources and its investors.

Watch out for

  • DefiLlama lists no audits for the tracked bridge contracts, and the homepage audit claim covers only Zircuit Finance.
  • The 8–11% APR figure is a marketing range with no published breakdown of risk, duration or how it is sourced.
  • Security claims such as 'safest chain' and 'insured vaults' come from the project itself and have no independent verification.
  • Bridge TVL of about $4.7 million is small, which limits the evidence of long-term usage.
  • Yield depends on third-party institutional managers, which adds counterparty risk beyond smart-contract risk.
  • Fee details for the bridge, Finance vaults and Liquidity Hub are not published on the homepage.

Zircuit fees

Fees are not published. The homepage gives an 8–11% APR figure for Zircuit Finance but does not say what fees or performance cuts apply to vaults.

Bridge costs, L2 gas fees and any withdrawal charges would be shown in the bridge interface and the documentation. Check them before moving funds, along with the cost of the fast bridge option compared with the native bridge.

Is Zircuit safe?

The homepage says Zircuit Finance contracts were audited by Zenith and Quantstamp and describes insured vaults, AI-driven security and institutional controls. It also lists a bug bounty program. DefiLlama shows zero audits for this listing, and the project does not include audit reports, insurance terms or incident history, so these claims are unverified here.

Using a rollup bridge carries smart-contract risk, and the yield products add counterparty risk from the third-party managers. Regulatory status is not described publicly. Only deposit what you can afford to lose and read the documentation first.

6 steps

How to get started with Zircuit

  1. 1

Visit the official Zircuit website and read the documentation, including the audit reports for the products you plan to use.

  2. 2

Set up an EVM wallet such as MetaMask and make sure it holds ETH for gas on Ethereum.

  3. 3

Use the native bridge to move assets to Zircuit L2, or use the Rhino fast bridge if speed matters, after checking fees and withdrawal terms.

  4. 4

Add the Zircuit network to your wallet and confirm your balance in the block explorer.

  5. 5

Choose between Zircuit Finance for earning on BTC, ETH or USD and the Liquidity Hub for staking LSTs and LRTs.

  6. 6

Start with a small deposit, read the vault terms and keep track of the yield and any lockups.

Who Zircuit is for

Zircuit is for Ethereum users comfortable with L2 bridges who want to earn on BTC, ETH or USD, or stake LSTs and LRTs, and for developers who want an EVM-compatible zk-rollup with grants available. It is less suited to anyone who wants verified, fully documented risk figures before depositing.

Zircuit FAQs

What is Zircuit?

Zircuit is a zk-rollup built to be EVM-compatible, so Ethereum apps run on it without rewrites. Its homepage describes it as a safe haven for onchain finance, and it ships a bridge, an explorer, a grants program and finance products.

Does Zircuit have a token?

The ZRC token is listed on DefiLlama for Zircuit. The project does not describe the token's utility, supply or distribution, so check the project's official documentation for those details.

How do I bridge assets to Zircuit?

Zircuit lists a native bridge for moving assets to its L2 and a separate fast bridge called Rhino. The project does not state fees, withdrawal times or limits, so check the bridge interface before transferring.

What yield does Zircuit Finance offer?

The homepage advertises 8–11% APR on Zircuit Finance, with yield sourced from institutional firms. It is a promotional range, not a guarantee, and the actual rate depends on the vault and market conditions.

Is Zircuit safe?

The homepage says Zircuit Finance contracts were audited by Zenith and Quantstamp, and it lists a bug bounty program. DefiLlama shows no audits for the tracked bridge entry, so read the audit reports yourself and treat any DeFi deposit as carrying risk.

What is the Zircuit Liquidity Hub?

The Liquidity Hub lets users stake liquid restaking tokens (LRTs) and liquid staking tokens (LSTs) to earn rewards. Specific supported assets and reward terms are not listed publicly.
