Our verdict on Vestige
6.0/10Vestige suits Algorand users who want asset discovery, a swap aggregator and portfolio tracking in one place, and developers or traders curious about bonding-curve launches. Its main strength is that focus on a single ecosystem. The main caveat is the lack of published information on fees, audits and the team, so start small and verify details yourself. rug.ninja tokens in particular are speculative.

What is Vestige?
Vestige Labs is a developer of Algorand DeFi tools. Its documentation site lists two products: Vestige.fi and rug.ninja. The studio's tagline is "If you can imagine it, we can build it."
Vestige.fi is described as a one-stop shop for Algorand DeFi. Users can discover new assets, trade them through an aggregator and monitor a portfolio. Individual token pages show price, volume and liquidity for Algorand assets.
rug.ninja is a bonding-curve token generator. It lets a user create a token in a few clicks, trade it immediately and collect liquidity as it trades.
The team, audits and fee structure are not published on the documentation homepage, so due diligence rests with the user.
How Vestige works
Vestige.fi sits on top of Algorand's on-chain liquidity. Pricing and liquidity data for each asset are collected into analytics pages, and a trading aggregator is meant to find a good route for a swap across available pools. Your wallet signs each transaction, so you keep control of your assets.
rug.ninja uses a bonding curve, a formula that sets a token's price from how much of it has been bought. A creator makes a token in a few clicks and it can be traded straight away against the curve, with liquidity collected as people trade. This avoids setting up a pool by hand, but the token's price depends entirely on early demand.

Pros and cons
What we like
- Focused on Algorand, with asset discovery, aggregation and portfolio tracking in one place.
- Per-token analytics for price, volume and liquidity help users judge Algorand assets.
- Non-custodial wallet-based model, as is typical for DeFi aggregators.
- Public documentation, GitHub, Discord and X presence.
- A separate token launcher makes it easy to create and trade a new token.
Watch out for
- Fees, routing details and any aggregator charges are not published on the documentation homepage.
- No audit reports, team details or security incident history appear.
- Limited to Algorand, so it is of no use for assets on other chains.
- Bonding-curve token launches through rug.ninja carry the high risk that comes with newly created, thinly traded tokens.
- The name is shared with unrelated projects, which can make it easy to land on the wrong site or token page.
Vestige fees
Vestige Labs does not publish a fee schedule on its documentation homepage. Neither the aggregator nor the token generator has stated charges there.
Anyone trading on Algorand pays the network transaction fee. Any aggregator or token-creation fees would be visible in the Vestige.fi or rug.ninja interfaces and their product documentation, so check those before confirming a transaction.
Is Vestige safe?
Public sources do not mention smart-contract audits, bug bounties, a named team or a security incident history. Users should look for audit reports in the project's GitHub and community channels before committing significant funds.
As a non-custodial tool, trades are signed from your own wallet, but smart-contract and routing risks remain. Tokens created through bonding-curve launchers are often illiquid and volatile, and some end up worthless, so size positions accordingly. Check the rules on crypto trading where you live.
6 steps
How to get started with Vestige
- 1
Open the Vestige Labs documentation and read the sections for Vestige.fi and rug.ninja.
- 2
Set up an Algorand wallet and fund it with ALGO to cover transaction costs.
- 3
Connect the wallet to Vestige.fi and browse asset pages to review price, volume and liquidity.
- 4
Start with a small trade through the aggregator and check the quoted route and price impact before approving.
- 5
Use the portfolio view to track your holdings once you have a position.
- 6
If you try rug.ninja, read its documentation first and treat new bonding-curve tokens as high-risk.
Who Vestige is for
Vestige is for Algorand users who trade or track tokens and want one interface for analytics and swaps. It also suits creators and traders who want to launch or trade bonding-curve tokens and accept the high risk that comes with them. It is not useful if you operate mainly on other chains.
Vestige FAQs
What is Vestige?
Vestige Labs is the developer behind Vestige.fi and rug.ninja. Vestige.fi is an Algorand DeFi hub for discovering assets, trading through an aggregator and tracking a portfolio. rug.ninja creates tokens on a bonding curve.
Which blockchain does Vestige support?
Vestige.fi is built for Algorand. The documentation describes it as a one-stop shop for Algorand DeFi, and its asset pages show Algorand tokens.
What are the fees on Vestige?
The documentation homepage describes a trading aggregator but gives no fee schedule. Network transaction fees on Algorand apply to any trade, and any extra charges would be shown in the trading interface or the product docs.
What does rug.ninja do?
The documentation says users can create a token in a few clicks and trade it instantly while liquidity is collected. A bonding curve sets the price automatically from the amount of the token bought, so no separate liquidity pool is needed at the start.
Has Vestige been audited?
The material available does not mention audits or a security report. Check the project's GitHub and Discord for audit information before using significant funds.
Is Vestige the same as other projects with that name?
Several unrelated projects and companies use the Vestige name, including a Solana token launchpad and a wellness product brand. Make sure you are using the Vestige Labs documentation and the Algorand products it links to.
