Good
Our verdict on O.LAB
6.5/10O.LAB's Opinion suits crypto users who want to trade views on sports, crypto launches and macro events, and who are comfortable with on-chain wallets. Its main strength is the breadth of markets and the ability to exit before resolution. The main caveat is the lack of published information on licensing, KYC and fees, plus uncertainty about the network and token. Check local legality before depositing anything.

What is O.LAB?
O.LAB builds Opinion, a prediction market where users trade on the outcomes of real-world events. Its stated mission is to let anyone create predictions with any token in a decentralized, permissionless way. The DeFi data lists it from January 2025 and notes two audits.
The homepage shows a broad catalogue: football and other sports fixtures, esports, crypto price targets, politics and macro questions. It also lists pre-TGE markets on the launch valuations of other crypto projects, some with tens of millions of dollars in displayed volume. Other markets, such as some sports championships, show very little volume.
A press release from October 2025 describes the project as backed by YZi Labs and says its mainnet launched on BNB Chain. One search result reports total fundraising of around $25 million and an OPN token. The DeFi data, however, lists the Base network and no token, so users should confirm the current network and token status on the official site.
How O.LAB works
Each market is built around a question, such as which company will be the largest by the end of 2026. Every outcome has Yes and No shares. The price of a share reflects what traders collectively think the probability is, so a Yes at $0.65 implies roughly 65%.
You buy shares in the outcome you expect. When the event resolves, correct shares pay out in full and incorrect ones pay nothing. Because you trade with other users and not against a house, you can also sell before the event ends if the odds move in your favour.
The platform is crypto-based and describes itself as decentralized and permissionless. Markets cover sports fixtures, season winners, crypto price levels and pre-launch token valuations. A Resolution section explains how outcomes are settled, though the details are not on the homepage.

Pros and cons
What we like
- Wide range of markets, from sports and esports to crypto and macro questions.
- Positions can be sold before an event resolves.
- Some markets show large reported volume, which suggests tradable liquidity.
- Two audits are listed in the DeFi data.
- Points, leaderboard and referral programmes give extra incentives to active users.
- Plain-language FAQs explain how prediction markets differ from sportsbooks.
Watch out for
- No licence or regulator is published, so legal status depends on where you live.
- KYC requirements are not stated, so users cannot tell what identity checks apply.
- The fee schedule is not published on the homepage. The site only describes fees as low.
- Some markets show very small volume, such as a few hundred dollars or zero, so prices there may be unreliable.
- Sources disagree on the network: the DeFi data lists Base, while a press release describes a BNB Chain mainnet launch.
- The token and points programme are still developing, and points-driven volume can inflate activity.
O.LAB fees
Trading fees are not published in its homepage. The site describes itself as having low fees and fast access but gives no percentages. Users would see the actual costs in the trade interface and the project's documentation before placing a trade.
On a blockchain-based market you should also expect network gas costs, and possible deposit or withdrawal costs, depending on the chain and how funds are moved in. The project does not state these either.
Is O.LAB safe?
The DeFi data lists two audits but the audit firms and reports are not named publicly, so users should look for the reports themselves. As with any on-chain market, smart-contract bugs, oracle or resolution disputes and wallet security are real risks. The project does not publish a licence, and it does not say what KYC applies.
Prediction markets sit in a legally unclear space in many countries and may be treated as gambling or derivatives. Check that you are allowed to use the service where you live, and do not try to get around location or age restrictions. Only users aged 18 or over, or older where required locally, should participate. Set limits and only trade money you can afford to lose.
6 steps
How to get started with O.LAB
- 1
Check that online prediction markets or betting are legal where you live, and that you are 18 or older.
- 2
Open the official site and read the terms, the resolution rules and any stated fee information.
- 3
Confirm which network the app currently uses and set up a compatible wallet.
- 4
Fund the wallet with the asset the platform accepts, starting with a small amount.
- 5
Browse a market, read its resolution criteria, then buy Yes or No shares at the displayed price.
- 6
Review your open positions in the Portfolio section and decide whether to sell early or wait for resolution.
Who O.LAB is for
This is aimed at crypto-native traders who understand wallets and want exposure to event outcomes, especially pre-launch token valuations and sports or macro markets. It is a poor fit for anyone who needs a clearly regulated venue, defined KYC terms or fixed published fees.
O.LAB FAQs
What is O.LAB?
O.LAB is the project behind Opinion, a prediction market where users trade shares in outcomes of real-world events. Market prices act as live odds. Its stated aim is to let anyone create predictions in a decentralized, permissionless way.
Which blockchain does O.LAB run on?
The DeFi data lists Base, while a press release from October 2025 says the Opinion mainnet launched exclusively on BNB Chain. Check the official site for the network the app currently uses before depositing.
Is Opinion the same as sports betting?
Not exactly. In a sportsbook the house sets the odds and you bet against it. In a prediction market you trade with other users, prices move with trading, and you can sell before the event resolves. The activity can still count as gambling under some local laws.
How do the odds work?
The homepage says Yes at $0.65 implies roughly a 65% chance. If the outcome you hold resolves as correct, the share pays out in full. If not, it pays nothing. Selling earlier locks in the current price.
Is O.LAB licensed and does it require KYC?
The project has not published a licence on the homepage. It also does not state its KYC rules there. Check the terms of use and your local law before trading.
Does O.LAB have a token?
One search result refers to an OPN token and an upcoming launch, and the site runs a points and leaderboard programme. DeFi data lists no token. Treat any token details as unconfirmed until the project announces them.
Is it safe and legal to use?
Prediction markets involve real financial risk and are restricted in some regions. Users must be 18 or older, or older where local law requires, and should only trade what they can afford to lose. Check that the service is legal where you live.
