Minted Network Review 2026: Cronos and Ethereum NFT Marketplace

Minted Network is an NFT marketplace for trending collections on Cronos and Ethereum, with NFT staking paid in its MTD token. The product is real, but the token is thinly traded and key details are not published.

By the DappsAtlas editorial team · Updated

Our verdict on Minted Network

4.8/10

Minted Network suits experienced NFT users in the Cronos ecosystem who want a marketplace with NFT staking and are comfortable with small, speculative tokens. Its main strength is the combination of a cross-chain marketplace, MTD staking rewards and developer tooling. The main caveat is the lack of published fees, audits and team details, together with very thin MTD liquidity and no recent dated updates. Treat it as a high-risk, small-scale project and size positions accordingly.

What is Minted Network?

Minted Network describes itself as a decentralised NFT platform native to Cronos and Ethereum. It focuses on trending collections and offers buying, selling, trading and NFT staking with rewards paid in its MTD token. Early coverage presented it as a startup from Cronos Labs and as the first NFT platform to span both chains.

The project has since added developer tooling, including an SDK for its API and contracts, and meme-token tools called MEMETED on Cronos zkEVM, announced in November 2024.

The MTD token is listed on a number of small markets. One data page shows around 26 active markets, a price near $0.0017 and daily trading volume of a few hundred dollars. One source lists total supply at about 921.9 million, with about 185.2 million circulating. Liquidity is clearly thin.

The team, fee levels, audits and roadmap are not published in the material reviewed, and the most recent dated update found is from late 2024.

How Minted Network works

Minted is an NFT marketplace. Sellers list NFTs from collections on Cronos or Ethereum, and buyers pay in the chain's supported tokens. Trades settle on-chain through smart contracts, so the wallet that holds the NFT remains under the user's control until a sale goes through.

The platform adds NFT staking. Holders can lock eligible NFTs and earn MTD, the platform's own token. Rewards are paid in a token created by the project, so their value depends on demand for MTD, which currently trades in small volumes.

For builders, Minted publishes an SDK that wraps its API and smart contracts. In late 2024 it also launched MEMETED, a set of meme-token tools, on Cronos zkEVM, extending the project beyond pure NFT trading.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Targets two networks, Cronos and Ethereum, with a focus on trending collections.
  • Adds NFT staking so holders can earn MTD rewards on assets they already own.
  • Publishes a developer SDK for its API and smart contracts.
  • Extended into meme-token tools on Cronos zkEVM, showing product development beyond a basic marketplace.
  • Linked in early coverage to Cronos Labs, giving it an ecosystem connection.

Watch out for

  • Trading volume for the MTD token is very low, often a few hundred dollars a day, so exiting a position can be hard.
  • Marketplace fees, staking reward rates and token emission schedules are not published in the sources reviewed.
  • No audit reports, team details or custody information could be confirmed.
  • The newest dated product update found is from late 2024, so current activity is unclear.
  • Rewards paid in a thinly traded token can lose value quickly.
  • Other projects share the Minted name, which makes it easy to confuse tokens and listings.

Minted Network fees

Minted does not publish a fee schedule in the sources reviewed. Marketplace commission, creator royalties and any staking or withdrawal charges are therefore unconfirmed. Users should check the fee breakdown shown at listing and checkout in the app before confirming a trade.

As on any chain, buyers and sellers also pay network gas. Costs on Cronos have generally been lower than on Ethereum mainnet, but the actual figure depends on network conditions at the time.

Is Minted Network safe?

No audit reports, bug bounty details or custody information could be confirmed. Trades happen on-chain, so users keep their own keys, but smart-contract risk remains and nothing here shows the contracts have been independently reviewed.

The MTD token has very thin liquidity, which raises the risk of price swings and difficulty selling. NFTs themselves can be illiquid and lose value. The project does not publish regulatory status or team details in the sources reviewed. Be careful with lookalike tokens that use the same or similar names on other chains, and confirm contract addresses on the official site.

6 steps

How to get started with Minted Network

  1. 1

Open the official Minted website and confirm the address carefully, since similar names exist.

  2. 2

Connect an EVM wallet that supports Cronos or Ethereum, such as a browser wallet.

  3. 3

Fund the wallet with the native gas token for the chain you plan to use, CRO for Cronos or ETH for Ethereum.

  4. 4

Browse trending collections and read the listing details, including fees and royalties, before buying.

  5. 5

If you want staking rewards, check which collections are eligible and what the MTD reward terms are.

  6. 6

Start with a small amount, and verify the MTD contract address before swapping for the token.

Who Minted Network is for

Minted fits NFT collectors and traders already active on Cronos or Ethereum who want staking rewards on NFTs and can accept thin token liquidity. It is less suitable for anyone who needs published audits, transparent fees or a deep market for the reward token.

Minted Network FAQs

What is Minted Network?

Minted Network is a decentralised NFT platform that runs on Cronos and Ethereum. It lets users buy, sell and trade NFTs and stake them to earn MTD token rewards. It has also added meme-token tools on Cronos zkEVM.

What is the MTD token?

MTD is the native token of the platform and is used for NFT staking rewards. One market-data page lists a total supply of about 921.9 million with roughly 185.2 million in circulation. Prices have been around a fraction of a cent, with very small daily volume.

Which blockchains does Minted support?

The platform covers Ethereum and Cronos. A later addition, the MEMETED meme tools, was announced for Cronos zkEVM in November 2024.

What does Minted charge?

Marketplace fees, royalties and staking rates are not stated in the sources reviewed. Users should check the fee display in the app before listing or buying, and expect normal network gas costs on top.

Is Minted Network safe?

Minted publishes an SDK for its API and smart contracts, which suggests it is built to be integrated by developers. No audit reports could be confirmed, so treat it as unaudited until you see one. NFTs and tokens are volatile and can lose all value.

Is Minted the same as the MINTED or MNTD token on other chains?

No. Other tokens carry similar names, including a MINTED token on Robinhood Chain tied to an entertainment platform and a separate token on Solana. Check the contract address against the official site before buying anything.
