Our verdict on 3F

6.7/10

3F suits experienced DeFi users who already understand looping and liquidation risk and want automated leverage on tokenized real-world assets. Its main strength is a focused product on top of Morpho, with $4M in seed funding and about $40M in reported TVL. The main caveats are that the app is still in private beta, DefiLlama lists no audits, fees are not published, and leverage of up to 17x can cause rapid losses. Read the audits and docs before depositing anything.

What is 3F?

3F is a vault protocol on Ethereum that gives users leveraged exposure to tokenized real-world assets. It is built on Morpho and operated by 3F Labs. DefiLlama files it under leveraged farming and reports about $40.4M in TVL, and the homepage shows similar total exposure.

The pitch is to make RWA looping simple. Instead of manually buying an asset, borrowing against it and repeating, users choose a vault and a leverage ratio, and the protocol handles the rest. The homepage shows a maximum yield of 15.22%, maximum leverage of 17x and 4 supported assets.

The project announced a $4M seed round in April 2026 led by Maven 11, with several crypto and trading firms taking part. The app itself is still described as a private beta on Ethereum mainnet with a Q4 2026 label, so access is gated by a waitlist. Lenders can also deposit stablecoins into Morpho-powered vaults to earn yield from borrowers.

How 3F works

Tokenized real-world assets, such as tokenized credit or treasuries, are onchain tokens that track off-chain assets. Getting leveraged exposure to them by hand means looping: buy the asset, deposit it as collateral, borrow stablecoins, buy more, and repeat. 3F automates that loop inside vaults built on Morpho, a lending protocol.

A leverage taker picks a vault and sets a leverage ratio. 3F coordinates the flash loans, bridge facilitators and liquidations needed to build the position in one flow. The site describes bridge facilitation as a way for institutional liquidity to supply capital just in time, and it says this is handled in the background.

On the other side, lenders deposit stablecoins into Morpho-powered vaults and earn yield from borrowing demand against the RWA collateral. If a leveraged position's collateral value falls too far, it can be liquidated, which protects lenders but can cost the borrower much of their position.

6 features

Key features

01

One-click RWA leverage

Users choose a tokenized real-world asset vault and set their leverage. The protocol automates the loop of buying the asset, posting it as collateral and borrowing stablecoins.

02

Morpho-based vaults

Vaults sit on Morpho lending markets. Stablecoin lenders supply USDC or USDT and earn yield from borrowers taking leveraged positions.

03

Bridge Facilitation

The site describes bridge facilitation as an onchain fixed-rate primitive that supplies capital behind the scenes. It cites an integration with Symbiotic for just-in-time bridge facilitation.

04

Automated liquidations

The homepage lists real-time liquidations as part of position management, handled by the protocol and liquidation facilitators.

05

Institutional access

Prime brokers, liquidators and other institutions can request whitelisted access to bridge services, liquidation facilitation and a dedicated front-end.

06

Published risk resources

The homepage links to documentation, audits and a bug bounty, so readers can check risk parameters before depositing.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Clear purpose: automates the manual loop of buying RWAs, posting collateral and borrowing.
  • Built on Morpho, an established lending protocol, rather than a fully custom lending engine.
  • Serves both sides of the market: leverage takers and stablecoin lenders.
  • Reports about $40M in TVL shortly after listing, and a disclosed $4M seed round with named investors.
  • Site links to documentation, audits and a bug bounty program.
  • Institutional whitelisted access suggests a focus on liquidity depth and liquidation handling.

Watch out for

  • The app is in private beta, so most readers cannot use it yet and the homepage gives a Q4 2026 timeline.
  • Leverage of up to 17x on tokenized assets can lead to fast liquidations if collateral prices or liquidity move against a position.
  • DefiLlama lists no audits, so users must check the audits page on the project site themselves.
  • The product relies on several moving parts (Morpho markets, flash loans, bridge facilitators, liquidators), which adds layers of smart-contract and counterparty risk.
  • Fees, interest rates and liquidation penalties are not stated on the homepage.
  • The protocol is new (listed on DefiLlama in May 2026), so it has little track record.

3F fees

3F's homepage does not publish fees, borrow rates or liquidation penalties. The yield and leverage figures shown (up to 15.22% yield and 17x leverage) are maximums rather than a fee schedule.

Users would expect to see costs, such as borrow rates on Morpho markets, protocol fees and liquidation terms, in the documentation or inside the app once beta access opens. Ethereum network gas will also apply to onchain actions.

Is 3F safe?

DefiLlama lists no audits for 3F, but the homepage links to an audits page and a bug bounty. Readers should open those resources and confirm which contracts were reviewed, by whom, and whether findings were fixed. An audit does not remove smart-contract risk.

Risk comes in several layers: the underlying Morpho markets, the tokenized RWA issuers and their liquidity, price oracles, and the third parties that provide bridge facilitation and liquidation. High leverage magnifies all of these, and positions can be liquidated quickly. The site does not state custody details beyond saying it never moves funds during the waitlist sign-up. The project is new and has no long track record or reported incidents.

6 steps

How to get started with 3F

  1. 1

Read the documentation and audits page on the official site to understand how the vaults, risk parameters and liquidations work.

  2. 2

Join the private beta waitlist with a mainnet Ethereum address holding at least 0.01 ETH, plus your X, Telegram and email details.

  3. 3

Wait for beta access. The site says it will reach out when access opens, and it never asks to move your funds.

  4. 4

When access is granted, browse the RWA vaults and compare the underlying asset, leverage limits and risk details.

  5. 5

Start with a small position and a conservative leverage ratio, and check the liquidation threshold before depositing.

  6. 6

If you prefer lending to leveraging, deposit USDC or USDT into the Morpho-powered lending vaults and review the risk parameters first.

Who 3F is for

3F is aimed at experienced DeFi users who want leveraged yield on tokenized real-world assets without managing the loop by hand. It also targets stablecoin holders who want to lend against RWA collateral on Morpho, and institutions such as prime brokers and liquidators seeking whitelisted access. Beginners and anyone unable to absorb losses should be cautious with leveraged products.

3F FAQs

What is 3F?

3F is a vault protocol built on Morpho that gives leveraged exposure to tokenized real-world assets (RWAs). Users pick an RWA vault and set a leverage ratio, and the protocol coordinates the flash loans, bridge facilitation and liquidations behind the scenes.

Is 3F live and can anyone use it?

The homepage lists the app as a private beta on Ethereum mainnet with a Q4 2026 label. Interested users sign up with an Ethereum address holding at least 0.01 ETH, an X account, a Telegram handle and an email. The project says it never moves your funds.

How much leverage does 3F offer?

The homepage shows a maximum leverage of 17x and a maximum yield of 15.22% across 4 assets. These are headline maximums, and the actual figures will depend on the vault, asset and market conditions.

How do lenders earn on 3F?

Lenders deposit stablecoins such as USDC or USDT into Morpho-powered lending vaults and earn yield from lending against RWA collateral. The site says risk parameters are transparent and there are no lock-ups. Yield depends on borrower demand and is not guaranteed.

Does 3F have a token?

The project has no token according to DefiLlama, and public sources name no token ticker. Treat any token claiming to be 3F with caution until the team says otherwise.

Is 3F safe?

Risks include liquidation from high leverage, smart-contract bugs, problems with the underlying RWA issuers or their liquidity, and reliance on third parties for bridge facilitation and liquidations. DefiLlama lists no audits, though the site links to an audits page. Only risk capital you can afford to lose.

Who funded 3F?

Reported backers include a $4M seed round announced in April 2026 and led by Maven 11, with F-Prime, Metalayer Ventures, GSR, Susquehanna Crypto and Gate Ventures participating.
