Timeless (LIT): Uses, Supply and Risks

Timeless is a DeFi project focused on liquidity for markets built around Uniswap v3. Its Bunni product began as a public utility for representing Uniswap v3 liquidity positions as fungible ERC-20 tokens, rather than as individual NFTs. That format can make it possible to build different incentive schemes around liquidity positions. LIT stands for Liquidity Incentive Token and is described as a core part of Bunni’s liquidity engine.

This LIT is not the token associated with Lighter, a separate trading project that also uses the ticker LIT. The ticker alone is not enough to identify a token: check that a wallet, exchange or dApp identifies it as Timeless and as an Ethereum token before interacting with it. Timeless’ stated aim is to help projects incentivize liquidity more efficiently and to use Bunni to support liquidity in its own yield-token markets. These are project aims, not guarantees of adoption or financial returns.

Timeless describes LIT as part of Bunni’s liquidity incentives. Bunni builds on Uniswap v3 liquidity positions, and its fungible-token approach is intended to support more complex ways of rewarding liquidity providers. Timeless also says it plans to use LIT and Bunni to bootstrap liquidity for its own yield-token markets. These roles connect the token to the protocol’s liquidity strategy, but public sources do not specify a fixed reward rate, a guaranteed return, or specific rights such as voting or fee entitlement for every LIT holder.

The project says it has developed Bunni’s tokenomics to encourage longer-term participation, align liquidity providers and LIT holders, build a treasury for growth, and support liquidity for LIT. Those are design goals; they do not ensure that incentives will work as intended or that LIT will remain liquid. Before using LIT in a pool or another dApp, read that product’s current rules, including how rewards, lockups, fees and withdrawal conditions work.

LIT is an ERC-20 token issued on Ethereum, rather than a native token of its own blockchain. The project description says Bunni’s liquidity-position tokens are ERC-20s, and the token information identifies Ethereum as LIT’s issuance chain. It does not establish that Timeless LIT is available on other chains, so do not assume that a token with the same ticker on another network is the same asset.

As of 2026-11-04, reported supply figures were about 428.4 million LIT circulating and 653.9 million total, with a maximum supply of 1 billion. These figures can change and may be presented differently across services, so check current token information before relying on them. A maximum supply is not the same as the amount currently circulating. The token’s supply figures also do not reveal how much is held by particular wallets, how tokens may be distributed later, or how much is available to trade.

LIT carries the risks of a crypto asset and of participating in DeFi. Its market value and trading liquidity can change sharply, and a project’s plans for incentives or treasury growth do not guarantee demand or price stability. Using Bunni or an associated liquidity pool can add risks such as smart-contract vulnerabilities, changing pool conditions, and losses relative to simply holding tokens. Review the specific product and its contract risks before depositing assets.

For self-custody, use a wallet that supports Ethereum ERC-20 tokens and protect its recovery phrase offline. Never share that phrase or sign a transaction you do not understand. Confirm the asset is Timeless LIT on Ethereum using a trusted project source or the token details in your wallet; the ticker is shared with an unrelated token, and public information here do not include a contract address. If using an exchange, check which asset and withdrawal network it supports. Avoid sending tokens to an incompatible network or address.
