What SafePal and SFP are

SafePal is a crypto wallet brand. Its product range includes hardware wallets and a software wallet, and all of them are managed through the SafePal App. The stated aim is to give ordinary users a secure, easy way to store, manage, swap and trade crypto. SFP is the project's token. It is separate from the wallet software itself, and you do not need to hold it just to hold other coins in a SafePal device.

Public descriptions call SFP a utility token for the SafePal ecosystem, issued as both an ERC-20 token on Ethereum and a BEP-20 token on BNB Chain. It is not the native coin of any blockchain. It is an ordinary token living on existing networks.

At the time of writing, SFP ranks around 261st by market capitalization. That puts it in the mid-sized tier of listed tokens, well below the largest assets but still actively traded. The token's profile is closely tied to the wallet business, so news about SafePal products tends to be the main context for SFP.

What the token is used for

The material available to us says SFP works as an in-ecosystem utility token, and it names two specific uses. First, SFP can be used in the SafePal Gas Station dApp, where it is exchanged for network fee tokens, the coins needed to pay transaction fees on different blockchains. Second, projects that want to list their dApps within the SafePal ecosystem can use SFP for that purpose.

Beyond those, public sources describe SFP in general terms as a growth engine for the ecosystem with multiple uses. We have not confirmed a detailed list of every function, and readers should check the current SafePal documentation before assuming a particular benefit exists. Features such as fee discounts, staking or rewards can change over time or vary by region.

It is also worth noting what SFP does not appear to be: a governance token with a formal voting system is not described in the data we have, so we make no claim either way.

Supply and tokenomics

SFP has a fixed supply. The circulating, total and maximum supply are all listed as 500 million tokens, which means no further issuance is shown beyond that cap and every token is counted as in circulation. Because of this, the fully diluted valuation equals the market cap, about $108.6 million as of 2026-11-05.

The data does not describe how the original 500 million were divided between the team, investors, community or reserves, and it does not describe any vesting schedule or burn program. We are not going to guess at those details. If allocation matters to you, look for the project's own published token distribution and any official updates on supply changes.

A fixed cap does not protect the price. Value depends on demand for the token, and demand depends on how useful and visible the ecosystem is. A capped supply only tells you the number of tokens will not grow beyond the stated limit.

Chains, holding and trading

SFP is issued on two networks, Ethereum and BNB Chain. The two versions are separate token contracts, so you must send SFP on the same network the receiving address expects. A transfer on the wrong network can leave funds stuck or lost, and it is one of the more common beginner mistakes.

You can hold SFP in any wallet that supports the relevant network, including the SafePal App and hardware devices, or in other self-custody wallets that handle Ethereum or BNB Chain tokens. It is also listed on centralized exchanges, where you can hold it in an exchange account instead, though that means the exchange controls the keys.

Liquidity is modest compared with major coins. Reported trading volume was around $1.1 million over 24 hours as of 2026-11-05, which is small relative to the market cap. Thin volume can mean wider spreads and larger price swings on bigger orders. Always check the token contract address from an official source before swapping on a decentralized exchange, since fake tokens with copied names are common.

History and notable events

SafePal began as a wallet project, and early posts from 2019 describe the aim of a secure and user-friendly custody product. One of those posts invited users to vote on which coins should be added to the hardware wallet, showing an early emphasis on community input and broad coin support.

On the funding and listing side, SFP is tagged in market data under Binance Launchpad, the Animoca Brands portfolio and the YZi Labs portfolio, which was previously known as Binance Labs. Those tags indicate links to well-known industry names, but we have not verified the terms of any relationship, so treat them as labels, not endorsements.

The price record is stark. SFP hit an all-time high of about $4.19 on 2021-02-09. Its all-time low of about $0.20 came on 2026-07-29, only a few months before this page's data date. At around $0.217 as of 2026-11-05, it sits close to that low, and it had fallen roughly 33% over the previous year. A launch date is not given in our data.

Risks to understand

The first risk is price. SFP has fallen far from its 2021 peak and was trading near its all-time low at the time of writing. Past performance says nothing about the future, and this page does not offer buy or sell advice.

Second, utility risk. The token's known uses are narrow, such as the Gas Station dApp and dApp listings, so demand depends on how many people use those features. If the wallet business grows without relying on SFP, the token may not benefit.

Third, liquidity risk. Daily volume is small relative to the market cap, which can make exits costly during volatile periods.

Fourth, platform risk. Two network versions exist, and bridging or sending to the wrong chain can cause losses. Fake contracts and phishing sites imitating wallet brands are also a real threat for a product people use to guard their funds.

Finally, with limited public detail on allocation and vesting, it is hard to judge who holds large amounts or whether large holders could sell. Do your own research and only risk what you can afford to lose.

How to store SFP safely

Keep your recovery phrase offline. If you use a SafePal hardware wallet or any other wallet, the seed phrase of 12, 18 or 24 words is the master key to your funds. Write it on paper or a purpose-made metal backup, store it somewhere protected from fire and water, and never type it into a website, chat or support form. Genuine support staff will not ask for it.

Before receiving SFP, confirm which network you are using, Ethereum or BNB Chain, and copy the contract address only from an official source. Send a small test amount first when moving a large sum.

A hardware wallet keeps private keys off an internet-connected device, which reduces exposure to malware. Download the SafePal App only from official app stores, check the publisher, and keep firmware and software updated. Be wary of unsolicited messages, airdrop claims and approval requests from unfamiliar sites, and review token approvals periodically. If you hold SFP on an exchange instead, enable two-factor authentication and withdrawal address allowlists.

By the numbers

SafePal in numbers

SafePal (SFP) is ranked #260 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $107M and a price of $0.2137 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($107M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.

The price was down 0.1% over 7 days, down 26.3% over 30 days, down 36.9% over the past year. It trades about 95% below its all-time high of $4.19, set on Feb 9, 2021.

About 500M SFP are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 500M (100% issued).

24-hour trading volume was about $1.55M, or 1.5% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

SFP has token contracts on 2 chains we track, including Ethereum, BNB Chain. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

SFP FAQs

What is SafePal (SFP) used for?

SFP is the utility token of the SafePal ecosystem. Known uses include exchanging it for network fee tokens in the Gas Station dApp and paying to list dApps within the ecosystem. It is not required to use a SafePal wallet to store other crypto.

What is the total supply of SFP?

The maximum, total and circulating supply are all listed at 500 million SFP. That means the supply is capped and fully in circulation, so the fully diluted valuation matches the market cap.

Which blockchains is SFP on?

SFP exists as an ERC-20 token on Ethereum and a BEP-20 token on BNB Chain. These are separate contracts, so make sure the sending and receiving networks match before you transfer.

Do I need SFP to use a SafePal wallet?

No. The SafePal wallet products are separate from the token, and the wallet can store many other coins. SFP is an optional token tied to certain ecosystem features.

How has the SFP price performed?

As of 2026-11-05 SFP traded at about $0.217, near its all-time low of about $0.20 set on 2026-07-29. It is down about 33% over one year and far below its 2021 high of roughly $4.19. This is a description of past data, not a forecast.

Is SFP risky?

Main risks include high volatility, narrow known utility, modest trading volume, network mix-ups between Ethereum and BNB Chain, and scams imitating the brand. Limited public detail on token allocation adds uncertainty. Research carefully and never invest more than you can afford to lose.

What is the market cap of SafePal?

As of Nov 6, 2026, SafePal had a market cap of about $107M, ranking #260 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of SFP?

SafePal's all-time high is $4.19, reached on Feb 9, 2021. Its all-time low is $0.1997 (Nov 5, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.

What is the circulating supply of SFP?

As of Nov 6, 2026, about 500M SFP were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 500M.
