## What is Rubic?
Rubic is a decentralized exchange (DEX) and bridge aggregator. Its Best Rate Finder compares routes for on-chain and cross-chain crypto swaps, so users can look for a suitable price, liquidity and transaction speed without checking each venue separately. Rubic says the tool covers more than 70 blockchains, 220 DEXs and bridges, and 15,500 crypto assets; availability depends on the assets and routes supported at the time of a swap.
The project also offers swap tools for dApps, including a widget and software development kit (SDK), and a MetaMask Snap for finding swap routes in a wallet. These products are separate from RBC itself: using Rubic’s swap service does not mean a trader must hold the token for every route. Cross-chain swaps involve multiple protocols and networks, so a displayed route is not a guarantee that a transaction will complete at the shown terms.
## What is RBC used for?
RBC is the token associated with the Rubic ecosystem. The project describes it as fuel for the ecosystem and lists several intended uses: paying SDK subscription and integration fees, supporting grant programs for SDK integrators, governance participation, and reduced costs for some cross-chain calls, exchange fees or gasless transactions. Rubic has also described distributing partner airdrops to RBC holders.
These uses do not mean that every benefit is available at all times or on every network. Check current Rubic documentation and the terms of a particular product before relying on a discount, grant, vote or airdrop. Governance rights also do not guarantee that a proposal will pass or be implemented. Public sources do not establish RBC as a claim on Rubic’s revenue, nor do they specify that holding the token guarantees a return. Treat each utility as dependent on the project’s current rules and integrations.
## RBC supply and networks
RBC is issued on Ethereum and Arbitrum, rather than being listed as the native token of either chain. It is described as an ERC-20 token. If you transfer RBC, make sure the wallet and receiving service support the same network; assets sent using an unsupported network or to an incompatible address can be difficult or impossible to recover.
As of 2026-11-05, the reported circulating and total supply were both about 216.3 million RBC, with a maximum supply of 1 billion. These figures can change, and a maximum supply is not the same as the amount currently circulating. On the same date, RBC’s reported price was about $0.00223, market capitalization about $482,000 and 24-hour trading volume about $38,300. These are snapshots, not stable values or a basis for predicting future performance. Crypto prices and trading activity can change quickly.
## Risks and storage
RBC carries risks common to crypto assets, along with risks tied to swap aggregation. Token prices can be volatile, and low liquidity or limited trading activity may make it harder to trade at a desired price. The project’s stated token uses also depend on Rubic continuing to operate and maintain its products, integrations and governance processes; they do not ensure demand for RBC.
Cross-chain routes can involve smart contracts, bridges, liquidity providers and more than one blockchain. A bug, exploit, outage, congestion or route change can delay a swap or cause a loss. A quote may change before execution, and users should review network fees, token addresses and transaction details before confirming. For storage, use a wallet that supports the relevant Ethereum or Arbitrum network and protect its recovery phrase offline. Check the token contract through Rubic’s official channels before adding or transferring RBC, since lookalike tokens and phishing messages are common risks.
By the numbers
Rubic in numbers
Rubic (RBC) is ranked #3,958 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $449K and a price of $0.002074 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($449K) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was down 10.5% over 7 days, up 35.5% over 30 days, down 69.5% over the past year. It trades about 100% below its all-time high of $0.7932, set on Feb 5, 2021.
About 216.29M RBC are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 1B (22% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $36.1K, or 8.1% of its market cap: high turnover.
RBC has token contracts on 2 chains we track, including Ethereum, Arbitrum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
RBC is linked to Rubic, which we cover in our Dex Aggregator rankings. See our Rubic page for how the protocol works and how we score it.
