Rayls (RLS): Uses, Supply and Risks

Rayls (RLS) is the token associated with the Rayls blockchain ecosystem, a project built to connect financial institutions with decentralized finance. Its design combines a public blockchain with private networks and privacy features intended for financial activity where transaction confidentiality and compliance may matter. The project describes uses such as tokenizing real-world assets, stablecoins and central bank digital currencies, and settling transactions between institutions and public-chain markets.

Rayls is EVM-compatible, meaning it is designed to work with the Ethereum Virtual Machine and familiar smart-contract tooling. Its architecture is aimed particularly at banks and other regulated financial organizations, rather than only at everyday consumer dApp use. The project says its privacy protocol, Enygma, supports confidential activity across its network. These are design goals, not a guarantee that any particular institution will adopt Rayls or that assets issued on it will be liquid, legally recognized or available to all users.

Rayls describes its system as an ecosystem rather than a single public chain. It includes a public network alongside private networks and institutional privacy nodes, with the aim of allowing regulated organizations to conduct private activity while connecting to public DeFi liquidity where appropriate. The project also describes features such as deterministic finality, protection against harmful maximum extractable value (MEV), and gas fees pegged to the US dollar. These are project-described network features; they should not be read as guarantees of uninterrupted service, fixed costs in every circumstance, or protection from every transaction risk.

RLS is associated with this ecosystem, but public sources do not establish that it is the native gas token for every Rayls network or that every listed network feature requires RLS. The token is listed as issued on Ethereum and BNB Chain. Those listings do not by themselves mean that RLS is native to either chain; transfers and app support depend on the specific token and network integration.

Public materials describe delegating RLS to active validators as a way to contribute to network security and receive a share of staking rewards. This indicates a staking-related use for the token, but the availability, terms and risks of delegation can depend on the live network and its validator arrangements. Check current Rayls documentation before sending tokens or committing them to a staking process.

Rayls also presents RLS as part of an ecosystem for institutional finance and tokenized assets. That context does not mean RLS represents ownership in a bank, company, real-world asset or project revenue. Nor should fixed, dollar-pegged gas fees described for the network be taken to mean that RLS itself is pegged to the dollar. Token utility can change as software and network adoption develop, and planned or described functions may not be active in every deployment.

As of 2026-11-05, about 2.04 billion RLS were circulating, out of roughly 9.93 billion total tokens and a maximum supply of 10 billion. The circulating amount is approximately one-fifth of the stated maximum. Total supply and circulating supply are different measures: tokens outside circulation may become available over time, depending on the project's token distribution and release arrangements. Check current token information for changes rather than assuming that today's circulating figure will remain the same.

On 2026-11-05, RLS had an approximate market capitalization of $4.2 million and fully diluted valuation of $20.6 million. These are time-sensitive estimates, not measures of guaranteed value. Market capitalization uses the circulating supply, while fully diluted valuation reflects the maximum supply at the token's then-current price. Both can change as the price or supply changes, and neither indicates how easily a large amount of RLS could be sold.

RLS is listed on Ethereum and BNB Chain. When receiving or storing it, select the same network used by the sending platform and confirm the token information through an official Rayls channel. Sending tokens to an incompatible network or address can result in loss. Use a wallet that supports the relevant chain and token; hardware-wallet support depends on the wallet and its software. Keep recovery phrases and private keys offline and private, and never share them with someone claiming to provide support.

Risks include token-price volatility, changes in supply, limited liquidity, software vulnerabilities, validator or network failures, and uncertainty about adoption by financial institutions. Privacy and compliance features do not remove legal obligations or guarantee that a transaction or tokenized asset is protected from loss. Staking can add risks such as lockups, validator performance and changing reward terms. Understand the current network and token terms before using RLS, and do not rely on a price prediction as a basis for a decision.
