What is PRISMA?

Prisma Governance Token (PRISMA) is the governance and incentive token associated with Prisma, a borrowing protocol built around a stablecoin collateralized by liquid staking tokens (LSTs). LSTs represent staked crypto assets while remaining usable in other applications. Prisma’s model lets users deposit eligible collateral and borrow its stablecoin against it; the stablecoin is intended to be backed by those LSTs. PRISMA is not itself the stablecoin and does not represent a claim to a fixed dollar value. The protocol is designed for Ethereum-based decentralized finance, where smart contracts manage collateral and borrowing. A token’s connection to a protocol does not guarantee that the protocol is currently active or that its token will retain value, so check current official information before interacting.

What is PRISMA used for?

PRISMA is intended to support governance and to incentivize participation in Prisma. Governance gives token holders a role in protocol decisions, though the scope and practical influence of that role depend on the protocol’s current rules and governance activity. Project materials have also described locking PRISMA to receive vePRISMA, a vote-escrowed form associated with governance participation and boosted PRISMA emissions. Other described incentives include rewarding activities such as minting the protocol’s stablecoin or depositing it into a stability pool. These functions depend on the relevant contracts and programs being available; they should not be treated as guaranteed income. PRISMA does not provide a fixed yield simply by being held, and any incentive arrangement may change through governance or protocol updates.

Supply and market context

PRISMA was issued on Ethereum and has a stated maximum and total supply of 300 million tokens. As of November 5, 2026, about 93.2 million PRISMA were circulating, so the circulating amount was below the stated cap. Emissions and token distribution can affect how much is available over time; consult current project information for the latest figures and rules. On November 5, 2026, the token’s reported price was about $0.0064, its market capitalization about $594,000, and its fully diluted valuation about $1.9 million. Reported 24-hour trading volume was about $166, indicating very limited activity at that time. These are snapshots, not stable values or forecasts. In a thin market, even small trades can have a large effect on quoted prices, and buying or selling may be difficult at a displayed price.

Chains, risks and storage

PRISMA is issued on Ethereum and is not listed as a native token of a blockchain. If you hold it, use a wallet that supports Ethereum assets, protect your recovery phrase offline, and never share private keys or approve unfamiliar transactions. Confirm the token’s identity and network through Prisma’s official information before transferring; a token with the same name on another network may not be the same asset. PRISMA carries ordinary crypto risks, including sharp price changes, limited liquidity, contract vulnerabilities, governance decisions and changes to incentives. Prisma also experienced a reported exploit in March 2024, after which the protocol was paused and a restart plan was discussed. That history is relevant, but it does not establish the protocol’s present operating status or the security of current contracts. Review current disclosures before using any protocol feature.

By the numbers

Prisma Governance Token in numbers

Prisma Governance Token (PRISMA) is ranked #3,659 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $574K and a price of $0.006153 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $1.85M, so roughly 31% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.

The price was down 3.7% over 7 days, down 20.9% over 30 days, down 79.6% over the past year. It trades about 100% below its all-time high of $18.64, set on Nov 1, 2023.

About 93.23M PRISMA are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 300M (31% issued).

24-hour trading volume was about $375, or 0.1% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

PRISMA has token contracts on Ethereum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
