## What is The Interfold?
The Interfold is an open-source protocol and distributed network designed to let separate parties work together on computations involving private information. Rather than handing sensitive data to one central operator, participants can contribute private inputs to a shared process. The aim is to produce an outcome that can be checked without exposing the information used to create it.
The network describes its computation environments as Encrypted Execution Environments, or E3s. Potential applications include secret ballots, sealed-bid auctions and confidential analytics. These examples describe possible uses of the protocol, not a guarantee that every application is available or that every computation is private under all conditions. The Interfold is infrastructure for confidential coordination; FOLD is its associated token, issued on Ethereum.
## How the network is intended to work
In an Interfold computation, multiple independent parties can provide private inputs to a shared task. The work takes place within an E3, and the resulting outcome can be verified without making the underlying inputs public. This design is intended for situations where participants need a common result but should not have to reveal their individual data to each other or transfer control to a single operator.
That distinction matters: confidential computation is not the same as publishing data on a public blockchain, and the network’s description does not establish that every part of an application is automatically private. Privacy depends on the implementation, the computation environment and how an application handles information outside the computation. Anyone considering an Interfold-based service should check its own technical documentation and privacy terms rather than assume the protocol removes every data or security risk.
## What is FOLD used for?
FOLD is associated with supporting activity on the Interfold network. Public descriptions identify ciphernode operators as part of the coordination process and connect FOLD with operator bonding and the economics of E3 requests. Public sources do not provide enough detail to specify bonding conditions, payment amounts, reward rates or whether token holders have governance rights. Those details should be checked against current project documentation before relying on them.
FOLD is not described as the native currency of a blockchain. It is issued on Ethereum. As of 2026-11-05, the reported circulating supply was about 342.1 million FOLD, out of a total and maximum supply of 1.2 billion. The same date’s reported price was about $0.0418, with a market capitalization of about $14.3 million. These are changeable market figures, not fixed values or forecasts.
## Possible uses and what they do not imply
The Interfold’s stated applications include secret ballots, sealed-bid auctions and confidential analytics. In each case, the intended benefit is that participants can contribute information to a joint process without exposing their underlying inputs. For example, a sealed-bid process could calculate an outcome without publicly disclosing each bid. Whether a particular application achieves that goal depends on how it is built and operated; these examples are not a guarantee of available products or results.
FOLD’s connection to operator bonding and E3 request economics suggests that the token is intended to play a role in network coordination, rather than simply representing a share of the protocol. The project information here does not establish that holding FOLD entitles someone to a claim on revenue, a right to use every application, or a particular return. Token holders should distinguish a token’s stated network role from rights that would need to be explicitly documented.
## Risks and storing FOLD
FOLD carries the usual risks of a crypto asset, including sharp price changes, uncertain liquidity and the possibility of losing some or all of its value. Its circulating supply is below the stated maximum, so future changes in the amount circulating may also matter to holders. The token’s price and market capitalization can change quickly; a snapshot from one day does not describe current trading conditions.
There are also protocol risks. Software defects, weaknesses in the E3 design or operation, compromised participants, or failures in an application could undermine confidentiality or availability. A claim that an outcome can be verified without disclosing inputs should not be treated as proof that every system using the protocol is secure. FOLD is issued on Ethereum, so use a wallet that supports Ethereum assets. Confirm the exact token contract through official Interfold channels before receiving or sending FOLD, keep recovery phrases private and offline, and beware of impersonation tokens. Never share a recovery phrase to get help.
By the numbers
The Interfold in numbers
The Interfold (FOLD) is ranked #1,064 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $13.0M and a price of $0.0379 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $45.5M, so roughly 29% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 15.5% over 7 days, down 43.7% over 30 days. It trades about 78% below its all-time high of $0.1748, set on Aug 23, 2026.
About 342.26M FOLD are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 1.2B (29% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $2.26M, or 17% of its market cap: high turnover.
FOLD has token contracts on Ethereum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

FOLD FAQs
What is FOLD?
FOLD is associated with The Interfold, a protocol for confidential coordination and shared computation. Public descriptions connect the token with ciphernode operator bonding and E3 request economics, but detailed terms should be confirmed in current project documentation.
What does The Interfold do?
The Interfold is designed to let multiple parties contribute private inputs to a computation without revealing those inputs to one another or handing control to a single operator. Its Encrypted Execution Environments are intended to produce verifiable outcomes without exposing the information used to create them.
Which blockchain is FOLD on?
FOLD is issued on Ethereum. Check the exact token contract through official Interfold channels before transferring it, since a matching token name or ticker alone does not verify an asset.
What is the supply of FOLD?
The reported maximum and total supply is 1.2 billion FOLD. About 342.1 million were reported as circulating on 2026-11-05; circulating supply and other market figures can change.
What can The Interfold be used for?
Potential applications include secret ballots, sealed-bid auctions and confidential analytics. These are examples of intended uses, not a guarantee that specific applications are available or that every implementation is risk-free.
What is the market cap of The Interfold?
As of Nov 6, 2026, The Interfold had a market cap of about $13.0M, ranking #1,064 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of FOLD?
The Interfold's all-time high is $0.1748, reached on Aug 23, 2026. Its all-time low is $0.0347 (Aug 19, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of FOLD?
As of Nov 6, 2026, about 342.26M FOLD were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 1.2B.
Which blockchains is FOLD on?
It has token contracts on Ethereum.
