## What is Harvest Finance (FARM)?

Harvest Finance is a decentralized finance (DeFi) yield aggregator. Its tools are designed to help users compare or access yield strategies that put crypto assets to work in onchain protocols. Harvest also tracks yield information: the project describes an index covering 101 strategies across five networks. That tracking function can help users compare reported yields, but it does not mean every strategy is available through FARM or that an indicated return is guaranteed.

FARM is Harvest Finance’s token. It is associated with governance of the protocol, rather than being a share in a company or a claim on guaranteed income. Harvest’s products and strategies involve smart contracts and other DeFi protocols, so using the platform is different from simply holding FARM. Check the current protocol documentation and contract details before relying on any particular feature.

## What is FARM used for?

FARM is primarily known as Harvest Finance’s governance token. Holders may be able to participate in decisions about the protocol, subject to the governance process and rules in effect at the time. Governance tokens do not necessarily give holders control over every development decision, nor do they guarantee that a proposal will pass or be implemented.

Some descriptions also associate FARM with providing liquidity to the platform. That use can depend on which pools or features are currently supported; do not assume that holding FARM alone earns yield. Any yield strategy is separate from the token itself and may involve depositing assets, paying fees, or accepting exposure to smart-contract and market risks. Review the current Harvest Finance interface and documentation to confirm what FARM can do before taking action.

## FARM supply and market figures

FARM has a maximum supply of 690,420 tokens. As of 2026-11-05, about 672,183 FARM were circulating, while total supply was about 690,420. These figures can change, so check a current source if the exact supply matters to you.

As of 2026-11-05, FARM was about $5.93, with a market capitalization of about $4.0 million and a fully diluted valuation of about $4.1 million. These are time-sensitive market figures, not forecasts or measures of guaranteed value. FARM’s price can move sharply, and trading activity can be limited compared with larger cryptoassets. A token’s maximum supply does not determine its future price, and past price changes do not establish what it will be worth later.

## Which chains support FARM?

FARM is issued on Ethereum and BNB Chain. These are separate blockchain networks, so a token on one chain is not automatically interchangeable with a token or asset on another. The project’s yield tracking covers five networks, but that does not mean FARM itself is issued on all five.

When receiving or sending FARM, confirm that the wallet, exchange, and destination support the same network. Sending tokens to an unsupported network or address can make them difficult or impossible to recover. Use the official token contract information for the relevant chain, and be wary of similarly named tokens or unsolicited messages asking you to connect a wallet. A self-custody wallet should support the network and token standard you intend to use; an exchange may have different deposit and withdrawal options.

## Risks and storage

FARM carries market risk: its price can fall, and a thin or illiquid market may make it harder to trade at a desired price. If you use Harvest Finance strategies, you also take on risks beyond the token’s price. Smart-contract bugs, exploits, protocol changes, unstable markets, and failures in other DeFi projects can lead to losses. Displayed or historical yields are not promises of future returns.

For self-custody, keep your wallet recovery phrase private and offline, and never share it with a person or website claiming to provide support. Check the network and token contract before transactions, and consider a hardware wallet for longer-term storage if it suits your needs. A wallet protects access to keys; it does not remove the risks of FARM, Harvest Finance, or the protocols used by a yield strategy.

By the numbers

Harvest Finance in numbers

Harvest Finance (FARM) is ranked #1,804 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $4.17M and a price of $6.20 as of Nov 7, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($4.28M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.

The price was up 2.9% over 7 days, down 24.2% over 30 days, down 73.1% over the past year. It trades about 99% below its all-time high of $628.46, set on Sep 1, 2020.

FARM FAQs

What is FARM used for?

FARM is Harvest Finance’s token and is associated with protocol governance. Some platform uses may depend on currently supported features, so holding FARM alone should not be treated as a promise of yield.

Which blockchain networks support FARM?

FARM is issued on Ethereum and BNB Chain. Confirm the supported network and token contract before sending it, because the networks are not interchangeable.

What is the maximum supply of FARM?

The maximum supply is 690,420 FARM. About 672,183 were circulating as of 2026-11-05; supply figures may change, so check a current source for an update.
