## What is GRX Chain?

GRX is the native utility and governance token of GRX Chain, an EVM-compatible blockchain in the GroveX ecosystem. EVM compatibility means the network is designed to support applications built with tools and standards familiar to Ethereum developers, although compatibility alone does not guarantee that every Ethereum app will work on GRX Chain. The project describes the chain as a base layer for decentralized finance, on-chain trading, payments and other Web3 applications.

GRX Chain uses Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS). In this model, token holders can support network security by staking directly or delegating tokens, while GRX also provides a way to participate in on-chain governance. The project describes the network as designed for fast finality, low transaction costs and high throughput. Those are design goals, not guarantees about performance under every condition. GRX Chain and the GroveX exchange are closely integrated at a product level but are owned and operated by separate legal entities.

## What is GRX used for?

GRX has three stated roles on GRX Chain. It pays gas fees for network transactions, can be staked by validators or delegated by token holders to support the DPoS network, and is used for on-chain governance. Gas is the network fee for processing transactions, so users generally need GRX to interact with applications on the chain. The project has not specified how governance proposals are submitted or what voting rules apply.

The ecosystem also includes Wrapped GRX (WGRX), described as a way to enable ERC-20-style integrations and liquidity on decentralized exchanges such as GRXswap. A wrapped token is a representation used to support integrations; it is distinct from assuming that native GRX itself is an ERC-20 token. GroveX is described as a primary gateway into the ecosystem, but the exchange and the GRX Chain project are separate legal entities. Check which asset and network a service supports before transferring or trading tokens.

## GRX supply and burns

GRX has a maximum supply of 10 million tokens. As of 2026-11-02, the reported circulating supply was about 9.51 million, with total supply just under 10 million. These figures can change if tokens are released, removed from circulation, or otherwise reclassified. The stated maximum supply is a cap; it does not mean that all tokens are currently circulating.

The project describes a deflationary mechanism in which a portion of designated fees is burned until a target threshold is reached. A burn permanently removes tokens from circulation, but public sources do not specify the fee categories, burn rate or threshold. Do not assume the mechanism will reduce supply at a particular pace or guarantee a change in token value. Supply figures, market prices and market capitalization can differ between services and may change over time, so check current information before relying on them.

## GRX Chain, WGRX and storage

GRX is the native token of GRX Chain, an EVM-compatible network. This does not by itself mean GRX is natively issued on Ethereum or on every other EVM-compatible chain. The project describes WGRX as a wrapped form intended for ERC-20-style integrations and DEX liquidity, including on GRXswap. Wrapped assets can depend on the mechanisms and contracts that issue and redeem them, so users should confirm the exact token and network before making a transfer.

To store or use native GRX, choose a wallet that explicitly supports GRX Chain and verify that the network details and receiving address are correct. For WGRX, confirm that the wallet and application support the specific network and token contract. A transfer sent using an unsupported network or to an incompatible address may be difficult or impossible to recover. Do not rely only on a token name or ticker when checking an asset; tickers can be reused by unrelated projects.

## Risks and safe handling

GRX carries network, market and custody risks. DPoS staking involves reliance on validators and the chain’s operation; public sources do not establish specific reward rates, penalties, lock-up periods or validator-selection rules. EVM compatibility and stated performance goals do not remove the possibility of software faults, outages or vulnerabilities in the chain or applications built on it. Burns also do not ensure price appreciation.

WGRX adds risks associated with wrapping and the contracts or processes used to maintain the relationship between the wrapped and native assets. GroveX may be an ecosystem gateway, but it is a centralized exchange and should not be confused with the GRX Chain network; the two are operated by separate legal entities. Keep private keys and recovery phrases offline and secret, use reputable wallet software, and test an unfamiliar transfer with a small amount when appropriate. Never share a recovery phrase with anyone claiming to provide support.

By the numbers

GRX Chain in numbers

GRX Chain (GRX) is ranked #1,305 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $8.88M and a price of $0.9334 as of Nov 2, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $9.33M, so roughly 95% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.

The price was down 0.0% over 7 days, down 95.6% over 30 days. It trades about 96% below its all-time high of $25.58, set on Oct 18, 2026.

About 9.51M GRX are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 10M (95% issued).

GRX FAQs

What is GRX used for?

GRX is used to pay transaction fees on GRX Chain, support the DPoS network through validator or delegator staking, and participate in on-chain governance. The project has not specified all governance rules or staking conditions.

What is the maximum supply of GRX?

GRX has a stated maximum supply of 10 million tokens. The project also says a portion of designated fees is burned until a target threshold is reached, but the burn rate and threshold are not specified here.

Is GRX an ERC-20 token?

GRX is the native token of GRX Chain, which is described as EVM-compatible. WGRX is a wrapped form intended for ERC-20-style integrations; do not assume native GRX is an Ethereum token or send it over another network without confirming compatibility.

How can I store GRX?

Use a wallet that explicitly supports GRX Chain for native GRX, and confirm the network before sending. For WGRX, check the supported network and token contract in the wallet or application you plan to use.

What are the main risks of GRX?

The project describes GRX as a gas, staking and governance token, but its value and use are exposed to market, network, validator, smart-contract and custody risks. The fee-burn mechanism does not guarantee a price increase, and users should verify token and network details before interacting with the ecosystem.

What is the market cap of GRX Chain?

As of Nov 2, 2026, GRX Chain had a market cap of about $8.88M, ranking #1,305 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of GRX?

GRX Chain's all-time high is $25.58, reached on Oct 18, 2026. Its all-time low is $0.8681 (Feb 14, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.

What is the circulating supply of GRX?

As of Nov 2, 2026, about 9.51M GRX were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 10M.
