What Electronic USD is

Electronic USD (EUSD) is a stablecoin intended to track the value of one U.S. dollar. Unlike a cryptocurrency whose price is expected to move freely, a dollar-pegged token is designed to offer a steadier unit for holding or transferring value on a blockchain. Public descriptions associate Electronic USD with Reserve and describe a minting and redemption mechanism involving Reserve collateral assets. The exact backing mix and the terms available to individual holders are not established here, so do not assume that every holder can redeem directly with an issuer. EUSD is not the same as every other token called eUSD: several projects use similar names and tickers. Check the asset’s contract address and network before sending or buying it. A similar label alone does not confirm that a token is the Electronic USD described here.

Uses and dollar peg

EUSD may be used to transfer dollar-denominated value between compatible wallets or applications, and to hold funds in a stablecoin rather than a token with a freely changing market price. It may also be used in crypto trading or decentralized finance where a supported application accepts it. Support varies by platform and chain, so verify that the application recognizes the correct EUSD contract. A stablecoin peg is an aim, not a guarantee: the market price can move above or below one dollar, and availability to exchange or redeem can vary. As of 2026-11-05, EUSD traded at about $1.00, with a reported price near $0.9986. That is a snapshot, not a promise of future value or proof that redemption at one dollar is available to every holder.

Networks and supply

EUSD is issued on Ethereum, Base and Arbitrum; it is not identified as the native token of any of these networks. A token on one network cannot necessarily be sent directly to an address on another. When transferring, select the same network at both ends and confirm the receiving service supports that specific token. The reported circulating and total supply were both about 24.6 million EUSD as of 2026-11-05; no maximum supply was reported. Supply can change as tokens are issued or removed, so this figure is not permanent. The reported market capitalization was about $24.6 million on that date. These amounts can help describe the token’s scale, but they do not establish the quality of its reserves, the ease of redemption, or the safety of any wallet or application that supports it.

Backing and risks

A dollar peg depends on the assets and mechanisms supporting it, as well as confidence that tokens can be exchanged or redeemed as expected. Public descriptions connect Electronic USD with Reserve and refer to minting and redemption involving collateral assets, but the precise reserve composition, custody arrangements and redemption conditions should be checked against current official materials. EUSD has traded away from one dollar: its reported all-time high was $1.13 on 2024-04-13, and its reported all-time low was about $0.867 on 2024-03-05. Past prices do not predict future performance. Other risks include changes in liquidity, smart-contract vulnerabilities, operational problems, and restrictions or disruptions affecting an issuer or service. A stablecoin can lose its peg, and a holder may not be able to sell or redeem at the expected value when needed.

Storage and safe handling

EUSD can be held in a wallet that supports the relevant token contract and network. Self-custody gives you control of the wallet keys, but losing a recovery phrase or signing a malicious transaction can result in irreversible loss. Keep recovery details private and offline, and verify the contract address, network and destination before transferring. A custodial exchange or wallet may simplify access, but it controls the assets and may limit withdrawals or suspend service. Do not rely on a wallet’s token name or symbol alone, since unrelated assets can use similar labels. Before using EUSD in a lending, trading or other decentralized application, check its contract and terms, including any redemption or withdrawal limits. Stablecoin use still carries market, technical and counterparty risks; it is not the same as a bank deposit.

By the numbers

Electronic USD in numbers

Electronic USD (EUSD) is ranked #725 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $24.6M and a price of $0.9977 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($24.6M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.

The price was up 0.3% over 7 days, down 0.2% over 30 days, down 0.2% over the past year. It trades about 12% below its all-time high of $1.13, set on Apr 13, 2024.

About 24.61M EUSD are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.

24-hour trading volume was about $103K, or 0.4% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

EUSD has token contracts on 3 chains we track, including Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
