What Crown BRLV is
Crown BRLV (BRLV) is a stablecoin tied to the Brazilian real. It is issued by Crown, a São Paulo fintech, and the project says each token is backed 1:1 by Brazilian government bonds. In practice, one BRLV is meant to track one real, not one US dollar, so its dollar price moves with the BRL/USD exchange rate. At the time of writing (as of 2026-11-05) it traded at about $0.18.
BRLV is described as non-rebasing. Many yield-bearing tokens change the number of coins in your wallet as interest accrues. BRLV keeps a fixed balance relative to what was deposited, which makes it behave like an ordinary ERC-20 token. That matters for automated market makers, lending protocols and other smart contracts that struggle with balances that change on their own.
The yield from the bond reserves is kept separate, at a collateral layer the project calls BRLY. Holders do not see it as a growing balance. They can instead redeem the surplus in BRLV through a "Rewards Claiming" process.
Note that this is a different project from the older Crown (CRW) blockchain coin, which shares part of the name but is unrelated to this stablecoin.
What the token is used for
According to the project description, BRLV is meant for payments, DeFi integration and institutional treasury management. The idea is to give people and companies a token that holds the value of the Brazilian real on a public blockchain, while the reserves sit in Brazilian sovereign debt.
The yield mechanic is the unusual part. The interest earned by the bonds accrues at the BRLY collateral layer, and surplus can be claimed in BRLV. Per the project, the reward amounts are calculated off-chain, and for now only primary holders (those who minted directly with the issuer) are allowed to claim. Someone who bought BRLV on a secondary market should not assume they are entitled to the yield.
Public reports also describe Crown offering a foreign exchange desk that converts reais into dollar stablecoins or into BRLV, which points to cross-border and treasury use. Coverage has framed BRLV as a way for foreign investors to reach Brazilian assets and for institutions to hold a yield-linked real exposure. The project positions it mainly for institutional users rather than casual retail trading.
Supply and tokenomics
BRLV has no fixed maximum supply listed. Circulating and total supply are both about 370.4 million tokens at the time of writing, so market capitalisation and fully diluted value are the same, roughly $67.5 million as of 2026-11-05. The token ranks around 357th by market cap on that date.
A stablecoin does not have tokenomics in the way a governance or utility token does. Supply is meant to expand when new tokens are minted against deposits and shrink when they are redeemed, so the number can change with demand. There is no public information about team allocations, vesting schedules or a separate governance token.
The price is expected to follow the real. Over the tracked period, BRLV's all-time high was about $0.2049 on 2026-05-09 and its all-time low about $0.1705 on 2026-09-24. A range like that likely reflects movement in the BRL/USD rate rather than a loss of the peg, though readers should check against the current exchange rate themselves. The 7-day change was about -2.0%.
Chains, holding and trading
BRLV is listed as issued on Base and Ethereum. The project description centres on Base, an Ethereum layer-2 network, so most activity is expected there. It is not the native token of any chain, and it uses the standard ERC-20 format, which means any Ethereum-compatible wallet can hold it.
Trading appears thin. Reported 24-hour volume at the time of writing was only about $7,400, small next to a market cap near $67.5 million. That suggests most supply is held rather than actively traded, consistent with an institutional focus. Thin volume can mean wide spreads and price slippage on decentralised exchanges, so a small order can move the price more than you would expect.
Primary access, meaning minting and redeeming directly with the issuer, generally involves onboarding with Crown and may include identity checks. Secondary access is through liquidity pools or exchanges where the token is listed. Availability varies, and you should check the official sources and the contract address on the relevant chain before interacting with any token named BRLV.
History and notable events
Crown is a Brazilian fintech building digital financial infrastructure. Press coverage reported that it raised about $8.1 million to build programmable money tools. Earlier coverage in October 2025 discussed BRLV as a route for foreign investors to gain exposure to Brazilian assets.
In January 2026, a news report on a stablecoin launched by a former Brazilian central bank official said Crown's BRLV already offered a comparable yield-bearing model to institutions and had secured about $67 million in commitments. Commitments are not the same as circulating supply or audited reserves, so treat that figure as a reported milestone, not proof of reserve size. Later reports mention Crown opening a foreign exchange desk for converting Brazilian reais into dollar stablecoins or BRLV.
The exact launch date is not given here, so none is stated. The project also points to a legal structure in which reserves are held in a bankruptcy-remote arrangement under Brazilian fiduciary assignment law, intended to protect holders' claims if the operator failed.
Risks to understand
Several risks apply. First is currency risk: BRLV tracks the real, so its value in dollars or other currencies rises and falls with the exchange rate. A holder measuring results in US dollars can lose value even if the peg to the real holds perfectly.
Second is issuer and reserve risk. The 1:1 backing in government bonds is a claim by the project. Holders depend on Crown's custody, the legal structure and the quality of any attestations. Bond prices and interest rates can also change, and Brazil's sovereign credit and policy conditions matter.
Third is yield uncertainty. Rewards are calculated off-chain and, for now, only primary holders can claim them, so secondary buyers may get no yield. Fourth is liquidity: very low trading volume means exiting a large position may be hard at a fair price. Fifth is smart-contract and bridge risk, since the token lives on Base and Ethereum. Finally, regulation of stablecoins and foreign exchange in Brazil is changing, and rules could affect who can mint, redeem or hold the token.

How to store it safely
Because BRLV is a standard ERC-20 token, you can hold it in any wallet that supports Base or Ethereum. For larger amounts, a hardware wallet paired with a reputable software wallet keeps your private keys offline. Write down the recovery phrase on paper, keep it somewhere private and never type it into a website or share it with anyone, including anyone claiming to be support.
Before sending funds, confirm that you are on the right network. A token sent on Ethereum cannot be picked up on Base unless the wallet and address support both and a proper bridge is used. Send a small test amount first when moving a new token for the first time.
Verify the contract address using Crown's official channels, because copycat tokens with similar names are common, and the older Crown (CRW) coin can add to the confusion. Be careful with token approvals when using DeFi apps: grant only the amount needed and revoke old permissions you no longer use. If you plan to claim rewards or redeem directly, use only the issuer's official process and expect identity verification.
By the numbers
Crown BRLV in numbers
Crown BRLV (BRLV) is ranked #352 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $66.9M and a price of $0.1806 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($66.9M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was down 1.9% over 7 days, down 9.4% over 30 days. It trades about 12% below its all-time high of $0.2049, set on May 9, 2026.
About 370.5M BRLV are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.
24-hour trading volume was about $8.38K, or 0.0% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
BRLV has token contracts on 2 chains we track, including Base, Ethereum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

BRLV FAQs
What is Crown BRLV?
BRLV is a stablecoin pegged to the Brazilian real, issued by the fintech Crown. The project says it is backed 1:1 by Brazilian government bonds and is designed for payments, DeFi and institutional treasury use.
Is BRLV pegged to the US dollar?
No. BRLV tracks the Brazilian real, so its dollar price should sit near the BRL/USD exchange rate, which was about $0.18 at the time of writing. It can change in dollar terms as the real moves.
Does BRLV pay yield?
The bond yield accrues at a separate collateral layer called BRLY, and surplus can be redeemed in BRLV through Rewards Claiming. According to the project, amounts are computed off-chain and only primary holders can claim for now, so secondary buyers may not receive yield.
Which blockchains does BRLV run on?
The token is issued on Base and Ethereum, and the project description centres on Base. It follows the ERC-20 standard, so Ethereum-compatible wallets can hold it.
Is BRLV the same as the Crown (CRW) coin?
No. Crown BRLV is a Brazilian real stablecoin, while Crown (CRW) is an older, separate blockchain coin that shares part of the name. Check the contract address and official sources to make sure you have the right asset.
What are the main risks of holding BRLV?
Main risks include exchange-rate movement of the real, reliance on the issuer and its reserves, limited liquidity, smart-contract risk and changing regulation. Trading volume was very low at the time of writing, which can make larger trades difficult.
What is the market cap of Crown BRLV?
As of Nov 6, 2026, Crown BRLV had a market cap of about $66.9M, ranking #352 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
