## What CoinEx Token is

CoinEx Token (CET) is a digital token associated with CoinEx, a centralized crypto exchange that has operated since 2017, and with CoinEx Chain, a public blockchain designed for decentralized exchange activity. The chain’s mainnet launched in November 2019. CET was issued in January 2018, before that mainnet launch, so the token’s connection to the exchange and its role on the chain are related but not identical concepts.

CoinEx offers spot, margin and futures trading, along with Earn products and fiat purchases. CET is described as a token within this wider ecosystem, but the specific benefits available to holders can depend on current CoinEx terms and the network or product involved. CET is not equity in CoinEx and does not by itself give holders ownership of the company or a guaranteed share of its revenue. Treat claims about token privileges as conditional, and check current official terms before relying on them.

## Networks and token role

CET is described as the native token of CoinEx Chain, a public chain built with decentralized exchange activity in mind. Some public descriptions also associate CET with transaction fees on that chain and with privileges in the CoinEx ecosystem. These uses should not be assumed to apply in every context: public sources do not establish a complete, current list of benefits or explain whether each benefit is available to every holder.

The token is listed as issued on Ethereum as well. That is distinct from saying Ethereum is the blockchain for which CET is the native token: the project identifies CoinEx Chain as its native setting. If you transfer or store CET, check which network a particular wallet, exchange or dApp supports, and make sure the sending and receiving networks match. A token with the same ticker on another network may not be interchangeable with the asset you intend to use.

## Uses and ecosystem features

CET’s publicly described role is to support activity in the CoinEx ecosystem, including its relationship with CoinEx Chain and the CoinEx exchange. Exchange-based tokens may be associated with fee benefits or other platform features, but the exact CET privileges should be confirmed from current CoinEx terms rather than assumed from older descriptions. CoinEx Chain’s focus on decentralized exchange activity also does not mean that CET itself is a decentralized exchange or that holding it gives you access to a particular dApp.

CoinEx has been described as using token repurchases and burns, but the terms and ongoing status of such a program can change. A burn mechanism does not ensure that a token’s market price will rise, and it does not remove the risks of relying on one exchange or blockchain ecosystem. Before using CET for a platform feature, check eligibility, fees, supported networks and any lock-up or withdrawal conditions. Do not treat a stated utility as a promise of financial return.

## Supply and market context

As of September 30, 2026, reported circulating and total supply were both about 2.44 billion CET, against a stated maximum supply of 10 billion. These figures are snapshots and may change. Circulating supply refers to tokens counted as in circulation; the maximum is a cap, not an indication that all tokens have already been issued or are currently available to trade.

CET’s reported price was about $0.005 and its market capitalization about $12.2 million on that date. Price and market capitalization can move quickly, and market-cap figures depend in part on how circulating supply is measured. Trading volume was not available in the snapshot, so it does not support a detailed assessment of liquidity. A quoted price or market cap is not a forecast or a measure of whether the token is suitable for you. Consider the possibility of sharp price changes and limited liquidity when researching any crypto asset.

## Storage and risks

CET can be held through a compatible wallet or on an exchange that supports it. Because CET is listed as issued on Ethereum and is also associated with CoinEx Chain, check the asset and network shown by the service before depositing or withdrawing. Do not rely on the ticker alone: sending tokens over an unsupported network can result in loss. For self-custody, protect your recovery phrase and private keys, keep them offline, and never share them with someone claiming they need them to release or verify your tokens.

There are also risks beyond custody. CET depends on the continued operation and policies of the CoinEx exchange and the development and use of CoinEx Chain. Changes to exchange features, token utility, network support or market liquidity could affect holders. Blockchain transactions may be irreversible, and wallet software, smart contracts, exchanges and networks can have security or operational failures. Research current token details and the service you plan to use; this overview is not a recommendation to buy or sell CET.

By the numbers

CoinEx in numbers

CoinEx (CET) is ranked #1,107 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $12.2M and a price of $0.004999 as of Sep 30, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($12.2M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.

The price was up 0.0% over 7 days, down 60.0% over 30 days. It trades about 97% below its all-time high of $0.1503, set on Jul 3, 2018.

About 2.44B CET are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 10B (24% issued).

CET has token contracts on Ethereum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

CET is linked to CoinEx, which we cover in our Centralized Exchanges rankings. See our CoinEx page for how the protocol works and how we score it.

What is CoinEx Token (CET)?

CET is described as the native token of CoinEx Chain and is also associated with the CoinEx exchange ecosystem. It is listed as issued on Ethereum as well, so check the network before transferring it.

Which blockchain is CET on?

CET is listed as issued on Ethereum and is identified as the native token of CoinEx Chain. These are different network contexts, so confirm which network a wallet or exchange supports before sending tokens.
