## What is Aragon?

Aragon makes software for creating and managing decentralized autonomous organizations, or DAOs. These are groups that use shared rules and digital tools to coordinate decisions and resources. Aragon’s newer offering includes the modular Aragon OSx protocol and a no-code Aragon App, deployed on Ethereum and Polygon. The software is separate from ANT: Aragon’s tools support DAO operations, while ANT is a token associated with governance of the Aragon project itself. The project describes its work as building flexible governance tools, but using Aragon software does not automatically make a DAO part of Aragon’s own governance. Nor does holding ANT necessarily give a person control over every DAO created with Aragon tools. It is useful to distinguish the project, its DAO-building products, and its token when assessing what ANT does.

## What is ANT used for?

ANT, or Aragon Network Token, is primarily a governance token. Holders can participate in governance through the Aragon DAO, where decisions concern the Aragon project. The token’s governance role does not mean that ANT is a share in a company, a claim on project revenue, or a guaranteed route to influence a particular proposal; the practical scope depends on the DAO’s current rules and processes. ANT is also not described here as the gas token for Ethereum or Polygon, so do not assume it pays transaction fees for those networks. Older descriptions of Aragon mention using ANT to obtain ANJ for Aragon Court dispute-resolution services. That is a historical reference and should not be treated as proof that the service or token conversion is currently available. Check current Aragon materials before relying on any specific utility beyond ANT’s governance association.

## Supply and market context

ANT has a stated maximum supply of about 45.1 million tokens. The reported circulating and total supply are both about 43.2 million, as of 2026-11-05. These figures describe token units, not how many are readily available to trade; some holders may not be selling. At the same date, ANT’s price was about $0.10 and its market capitalization was about $4.4 million. The reported 24-hour trading volume was about $3, an exceptionally small snapshot that may indicate very limited trading activity or incomplete market data. A low-volume market can make it harder to trade at a quoted price, and individual trades may move the price substantially. Prices, market capitalization, and circulating supply can change, so these figures are not current quotes or forecasts. ANT has experienced large price swings, as is common with smaller crypto assets, and past prices do not indicate future performance.

## Chains, storage, and risks

ANT is listed as issued on Ethereum. Aragon’s OSx protocol and no-code app are also deployed on Polygon, but that does not by itself establish that ANT is issued or supported there. Before transferring tokens, confirm the network and token contract details using current Aragon documentation and the receiving wallet or exchange. Sending a token over an unsupported network can make it difficult or impossible to recover. If you hold ANT in a self-custody wallet, protect the recovery phrase offline, never share it, and be cautious of messages or sites asking you to sign transactions. Key risks include price volatility, thin trading liquidity, changes to Aragon’s products or governance, and smart-contract or wallet errors. Governance participation also involves evaluating proposals and their possible effects; token ownership alone does not guarantee a particular outcome. These risks are separate from whether Aragon’s software is useful to a DAO.

By the numbers

Aragon in numbers

Aragon (ANT) is ranked #1,813 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $4.11M and a price of $0.0952 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($4.11M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.

The price was down 7.0% over 7 days, up 52.5% over 30 days, down 28.4% over the past year. It trades about 99% below its all-time high of $13.41, set on Dec 31, 2021.

About 43.19M ANT are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 45.09M (96% issued).

24-hour trading volume was about $13, or 0.0% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

ANT has token contracts on Ethereum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
