## What is Alvara Protocol?
Alvara Protocol is a platform for creating and trading tokenized baskets of ERC-20 assets. These baskets are designed to represent multi-asset funds, and the protocol uses the ERC-7621 standard. A person can create a basket and act as its fund manager, while other users can trade the tokenized fund representation. This is different from holding ALVA: ALVA is the protocol’s own token, not automatically a share in any particular basket. Alvara is described as operating on Ethereum and Base. Public sources do not establish what assets any current basket holds, how it is managed, or what returns it may produce. Review a fund’s details and risks individually rather than assuming that all baskets work alike.
## What is ALVA used for?
ALVA is associated with voting power in the Alvara Protocol. The project’s whitepaper is reported to describe staking ALVA as a way to access that voting power. Public sources do not specify the full voting process, what decisions are covered, or whether any additional token uses are active. Treat those details as matters to verify in the project’s current documentation rather than assuming that holding ALVA alone grants voting rights. ALVA should also be distinguished from the tokenized fund baskets created through the protocol: owning ALVA does not, by itself, mean you own the assets in a basket or have a claim on its performance. As with other governance-related tokens, participation and influence can depend on the protocol’s rules and the amount staked.
## ALVA supply and market context
As of 2026-11-05, ALVA was priced at about $0.0027, with a market capitalization of about $321,000 and fully diluted valuation of about $537,000. These figures change over time and are not a guide to future value. Reported circulating supply was about 118.7 million ALVA, total supply about 198.7 million, and maximum supply 200 million. The difference between circulating and total supply means not all tokens were reported as circulating at that point; the figures alone do not explain when or how remaining tokens may enter circulation. Trading activity was low in the same snapshot, with about $286 in 24-hour volume. Low volume can make it harder to trade at a desired price. ALVA had also fallen substantially from its reported all-time high of $2.90 on 2024-03-09.
## Networks, storage and risks
The project is described as operating on Ethereum and Base, while ALVA is reported as issued on Ethereum and Avalanche. These are not interchangeable networks. Before transferring or interacting with ALVA, check the current official contract address and confirm that your wallet and the destination platform support the same network. Sending tokens to an incompatible network or address can result in permanent loss. If you hold ALVA in a self-custody wallet, protect the recovery phrase offline and never share it; using a hardware wallet may reduce exposure to some online threats, but it does not remove contract or user-error risks. Other risks include changing token value, limited trading liquidity, smart-contract vulnerabilities, and uncertainty about how governance or staking works in practice. Tokenized baskets can also expose users to the risks of their underlying assets and fund management.
By the numbers
Alvara Protocol in numbers
Alvara Protocol (ALVA) is ranked #4,454 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $303K and a price of $0.002555 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $508K, so roughly 60% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 4.5% over 7 days, down 36.9% over 30 days, down 94.9% over the past year. It trades about 100% below its all-time high of $2.90, set on Mar 9, 2024.
About 118.69M ALVA are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 200M (59% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $2.16K, or 0.7% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
ALVA has token contracts on 2 chains we track, including Ethereum, Avalanche. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
ALVA is linked to Alvara, which we cover in our Yield Aggregator rankings. See our Alvara page for how the protocol works and how we score it.
