XORA Review 2026: Custodial XRP Yield Up to 22% APY

XORA is a custodial XRP savings app on the XRP Ledger that advertises up to 22% APY value, but part of that is an estimated token reward and the product is new. The main takeaway is that the yield comes with custody and sustainability risk.

Our verdict on XORA

4.3/10

XORA suits experienced XRP holders who understand custodial risk and want to try a small, speculative yield position. Its main strength is a simple, lock-up-free deposit flow on the XRP Ledger with clearly published tiers. The main caveat is that the headline 22% includes an estimated token reward that has no market price, the XRP yield is treasury-subsidised, and there are no audits or funded reserve. Anyone who cannot afford to lose the deposit should avoid it.

What is XORA?

XORA is a custodial savings product on the XRP Ledger. Its site presents it as an XRP neobank: users deposit crypto, earn daily yield from a treasury wallet and can withdraw without a fixed lock-up. DefiLlama files it under CeDeFi and shows it on XRPL only.

The headline figure is up to 22% APY value for balances up to 1,000 XRP. The site splits this into 15% XRP yield and 7% estimated XORA reward value, and says higher balances earn 19%, 17% and 15%. The XORA token is not tradable yet and its listing timing may change.

The project is new. DefiLlama lists it from 28 May 2026 with about $264,000 in TVL, down 6.9% over seven days, no audits and no token listed. The homepage shows press and community mentions, but it also labels the debit card, metal tiers, travel perks, concierge banking and governance as planned and not live.

How XORA works

XORA is a custodial service. A user deposits XRP to an address on the XRP Ledger with a personal destination tag, and the platform credits that balance in its own ledger. DefiLlama says the yield is paid from a single treasury wallet.

The quoted rate has two parts. The first is a native XRP yield of 15% for the top tier, which the site says is currently treasury-subsidised. The second is an estimated 7% value in XORA reward tokens that accrue on the XRP balance. Those tokens are not yet tradable and are valued on internal assumptions. Rates are variable, and balances are re-tiered automatically as they cross the published brackets.

Withdrawals are sent on the XRP Ledger, which settles in a few seconds, but release is subject to account, treasury and risk controls. Large withdrawals and some first withdrawals to a new address are manually reviewed.

7 features

Key features

01

Automatic daily yield

Deposited XRP starts earning automatically with no opt-in, staking transaction or fixed lock-up. Payouts under 0.001 XRP are skipped, so very small balances earn nothing.

02

Balance-based APY tiers

The homepage lists a four-tier APY by XRP balance: 22% up to 1,000 XRP, then 19%, 17% and 15%. The tier depends only on XRP balance, not XORA holdings.

03

XRPL deposit address and tag

Each user gets an XRP address and a required destination tag. The tag must be included or a deposit may not credit automatically.

04

Multiple deposit assets

The homepage lists XRP, RLUSD, BTC, XLM and TRX as deposit options. DefiLlama describes the product as focused on XRP deposits.

05

Passkey and wallet sign-in

Sign-in options include passkey, Google, email or wallet. The site says it takes four steps from sign-in to earning.

06

In-app calculator and swap

The app shows a yield estimator and a swap screen. Swaps are routed through Trocador and fees apply.

07

Operational controls

The site describes a restricted signer surface, anomaly monitoring, automated circuit breakers and daily reconciliation. Custody attestations and third-party security reviews are listed as roadmap items.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Simple deposit-and-earn flow with no lock-up, staking transaction or minimum deposit
  • The site states plainly that the product is custodial, that capital is at risk and that the card and perks are not live
  • Settlement runs on the XRP Ledger, which the site says takes about three seconds
  • Supports several deposit assets, including XRP, RLUSD, BTC, XLM and TRX, and several sign-in methods
  • Yield tiers are published, and the split between XRP yield and estimated token value is spelled out

Watch out for

  • Custodial: funds sit in an XRPL account controlled by XORA, so users carry counterparty and operational risk
  • Up to 7 points of the headline 22% is an estimated reward in a token that is not yet tradable, valued on internal assumptions
  • The native XRP yield is described as treasury-subsidised, so the rate may not last
  • No audits are listed on DefiLlama, and the depositor reserve buffer is not funded or live
  • Large withdrawals and some first withdrawals to a new address wait for manual review, and treasury holds can delay or block release
  • Very new and small, listed since late May 2026 with about $264,000 in TVL, so there is little track record

XORA fees

XORA does not publish a fee schedule reviewed. The homepage does not state deposit or withdrawal fees, and it says swaps in the app go through Trocador, where fees apply. Users should check the in-app screens before depositing.

The cost that matters more is the yield structure. The headline rate is split between a variable XRP yield, which is treasury-subsidised, and an estimated XORA reward value that rests on internal assumptions. The card is labelled pre-launch for fees.

Is XORA safe?

XORA is custodial, so users rely on the operator to hold and release funds. The site describes layered controls: a restricted signer surface, anomaly monitoring, circuit breakers and daily reconciliation. It also says that enhanced signing, independent custody attestations and third-party security reviews are roadmap items. DefiLlama lists no audits.

The site states that XORA is not a chartered bank and that the planned depositor reserve is not government deposit insurance. That reserve is not funded or live. Withdrawals can be delayed or blocked by manual review or treasury holds. No hacks or incidents appear, but the project has only been listed since May 2026, so its track record is very short. Treat any deposit as high risk.

7 steps

How to get started with XORA

  1. 1

Read the custody, yield and withdrawal-review disclosures on the homepage and in the FAQ first.

  2. 2

Decide how much XRP you can afford to lose, since the site states capital is at risk.

  3. 3

Sign in with a passkey, Google, email or a wallet.

  4. 4

Copy your unique XRP deposit address and destination tag from the app.

  5. 5

Send a small test deposit from your wallet or exchange, always including the destination tag.

  6. 6

Check the live rate and your balance tier in the app.

  7. 7

Try a small withdrawal to your own address before adding more funds.

Who XORA is for

XORA is for crypto-experienced XRP holders who are comfortable with a custodial platform and accept that yield may fall. It is not suited to cautious savers who want deposit insurance, audited contracts or a long operating history.

XORA FAQs

What is XORA?

XORA is a custodial savings product on the XRP Ledger that markets itself as an XRP neobank. Users deposit crypto, earn daily yield and can withdraw on demand, subject to account, treasury and risk controls.

How much yield does XORA pay?

The homepage shows up to 22% APY value for balances up to 1,000 XRP. That is 15% XRP yield plus 7% estimated XORA reward value. Higher balances earn 19%, 17% and 15% by tier. Rates are variable and the XRP leg is currently treasury-subsidised.

Is XORA safe?

XORA says it holds funds in custody and that capital is at risk. It describes monitoring, daily reconciliation and circuit breakers. It also states that it is not a chartered bank and that its planned depositor reserve is not deposit insurance and is not yet funded. DefiLlama lists no audits. Treat it as a high-risk custodial product.

Can I withdraw from XORA at any time?

There is no fixed lock-up, and the site says withdrawals settle on the XRP Ledger in seconds once released. Large withdrawals and some first withdrawals to a new address go to manual review, which can take longer. Treasury holds can also delay or block release.

Does XORA have a token I can trade?

Not yet. The site says XORA is not tradable and that listing timing may change. Rewards are valued with internal launch assumptions rather than a market price, so the figure is an estimate, not a guaranteed cash return.

Does XORA offer a debit card?

The card is listed as planned, not live, with no card issued yet. The metal tiers, private deal flow, travel discounts, concierge banking and governance voting are also described as planned and not live.
