ActiveGimo Review 2026: Liquid Staking for the 0G Network
Gimo is a non-custodial liquid staking protocol for the 0G Network that lets users stake $0G and receive a yield-bearing token. It is small and young, with no audits listed in the data we reviewed.

Our verdict on Gimo
5.5/10Gimo suits users who hold 0G tokens and want staking rewards while keeping a liquid position. Its main strength is being a dedicated liquid staking option for 0G, built on StaFi's infrastructure. The main caveat is risk: no audits are listed, TVL is small and falling, and everything depends on one young chain. Fees and yields are not public, so confirm them on the official site and start with a small amount.

What is Gimo?
Gimo, branded Gimo Finance, is a liquid staking protocol for the 0G Network, a chain pitched as infrastructure for decentralized AI. DefiLlama describes it as liquid staking for 0G and lists it on the 0g chain only.
Public reporting call it the first liquid staking protocol in the 0G ecosystem and say it is powered by StaFi's liquid-staking-as-a-service. The project's X account announced that staking started when the 0G mainnet went live, and a staking points campaign followed.
DefiLlama shows TVL of roughly $3.07M, down 20.3% over seven days, with no audits listed and no token. It has been tracked since 17 October 2025. Its homepage was not available to us, so the details here rest on directory data and search snippets.
How Gimo works
You deposit 0G tokens into Gimo's staking contracts. Those tokens help secure the 0G Network through staking, and in return you receive a liquid staking token, described in public reporting as stOG.
The liquid token represents your staked position plus accrued rewards. Because it is a normal token, it can in principle be used elsewhere in 0G DeFi while the underlying 0G keeps earning staking rewards.
Public reporting state that Gimo is powered by StaFi's liquid-staking-as-a-service. Details such as the exchange rate method, validator selection and unstaking delay are not public, so check the documentation.
5 features
Key features
01
Non-custodial liquid staking
Users stake 0G tokens and keep control of their assets rather than handing them to a custodian, according to search descriptions.
02
Liquid staking derivative
Staking returns a yield-bearing derivative, described as stOG, instead of locking capital with no usable receipt.
03
0G-native design
The protocol is built specifically for the 0G Network, described as a decentralized AI operating system.
04
StaFi LSaaS backend
Public reporting says Gimo is powered by StaFi's liquid-staking-as-a-service infrastructure.
05
Points campaign and partners
Posts from the project mention a staking points campaign and a collaboration with Quack AI in the 0G ecosystem.
Pros and cons
What we like
- Fills a specific role as a liquid staking option on the 0G Network.
- Described as non-custodial, so users keep control of their assets.
- Gives a yield-bearing liquid token that can be used in 0G DeFi.
- Built on StaFi's liquid-staking-as-a-service, an existing infrastructure provider.
- Active project communication, including a points campaign and ecosystem partnerships.
Watch out for
- No audits are listed on DefiLlama, so smart-contract risk is not independently documented publicly.
- TVL of about $3.07M is small and fell 20.3% over seven days.
- Depends entirely on the 0G Network, so its fortunes track a single young chain.
- Relies on StaFi's liquid-staking-as-a-service infrastructure, adding a dependency.
- No protocol token is listed, and fee and reward terms are not public.
- Its homepage was not available, so documentation could not be checked.
Gimo fees
Fees are not published publicly available. DefiLlama lists no protocol token and no fee data for Gimo.
Liquid staking protocols commonly take a share of staking rewards and users also pay network gas. Check the official site and staking interface for the exact commission and any unstaking terms before depositing.
Is Gimo safe?
DefiLlama lists zero audits for Gimo. Without a published audit, smart-contract risk is not independently verified. Liquid staking adds further risks: validator performance or slashing, depegging of the liquid token, and dependence on StaFi's infrastructure.
Gimo describes itself as non-custodial, but we could not verify admin keys, upgradeability or governance from public sources. The 0G Network is young, so chain-level risk also applies. No incidents are mentioned publicly. This is not financial advice; stake only what you can afford to lose.
6 steps
How to get started with Gimo
- 1
Read the official site and documentation to confirm how stOG works and what fees apply.
- 2
Set up a wallet compatible with the 0G Network and make sure it holds 0G tokens plus some for gas.
- 3
Verify you are on the official Gimo site using links from the project's verified social account.
- 4
Connect your wallet and stake a small amount of 0G first.
- 5
Confirm you received the liquid staking token and check how its value is tracked.
- 6
Review unstaking rules before depositing a larger amount.
Who Gimo is for
Gimo is for 0G Network holders comfortable with early-stage DeFi who want to stake without locking their tokens. It is less suited to users who need audited, long-established protocols.
Gimo FAQs
What is Gimo Finance?
Gimo is a liquid staking protocol built for the 0G Network. Users stake 0G tokens and receive a liquid staking derivative, so they can help secure the network while keeping a tradable position.
What token do you receive when staking on Gimo?
Public reporting describes staking $OG for $stOG, a yield-bearing liquid staking derivative. The token is meant for use in 0G's DeFi ecosystem. Exact naming and mechanics should be confirmed on the official site.
Is Gimo safe?
Gimo says it is non-custodial, but DefiLlama lists no audits. Smart-contract risk, validator risk and the risk of a young chain all apply. Only stake what you can afford to lose.
Which blockchain does Gimo run on?
DefiLlama lists Gimo on 0G only. It is categorised as liquid staking and has been tracked since October 2025.
Does Gimo have its own token?
No token is listed for Gimo in DefiLlama data. Public reporting mentions a staking points campaign, but its rules and any rewards are not described publicly.
What yield does Gimo pay?
Yield and fee figures are not public. Check the staking interface and official documentation for current rates before depositing.
