Why players use USDC for gambling

USDC is a stablecoin designed to track the US dollar. For gamblers, the appeal is simple: a balance of 100 USDC stays close to 100 dollars while you play, so you are not also betting on the price of Bitcoin or Ether between deposit and cash-out. That makes it easier to size bets, track profit and loss, and set limits.

It also suits prediction markets and sportsbooks, where positions are priced in dollar terms. Betdex is described as funded with USDC, and XO Market lets users create and trade Yes/No markets in USDC.e, a bridged form of the token.

Stablecoins do not remove risk. The peg can slip in stressful markets, the token issuer can freeze addresses, and the casino itself can fail or refuse a withdrawal. USDC also does not change the house edge: a dice game or slot has the same odds whatever currency you use.

This page ranks the listed products by the score in our data. A higher score is not a guarantee of safety, and the data does not confirm USDC support for every entry. Treat each ranking as a starting point for your own checks. You must be 18 or older (21 or older where required), and you should confirm that online gambling is legal where you live.

Networks and fees

USDC is issued on many networks, and the network you choose decides your fee and speed. Ethereum mainnet is the most widely supported but usually the most expensive. Layer 2 networks such as Base, Arbitrum, Optimism and Polygon generally cost much less per transfer. Solana is also known for low fees and quick confirmation.

The listed apps span several chains. Overtime runs markets on Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, Ethereum and BNB Chain. sx Bet settles on SX Network and Arbitrum. PRED is on Base, Betdex and Goated are on Solana, Suigar is on Sui and Alpha Arcade is on Algorand. Several centralised casinos, such as Duckdice, Flush and Spartans, do not list a chain in our data.

Before you send anything, check three things:

  • Which networks the casino accepts for USDC deposits and withdrawals.
  • Whether the token is native USDC or a bridged version such as USDC.e.
  • What the casino charges on withdrawal, on top of the network fee.

Sending USDC on the wrong network is one of the most common ways to lose funds. Send a small test amount first. Fee levels change daily, so we do not quote figures here.

What to compare: licence, KYC, withdrawals and games

Licence comes first. A licence from a regulator is not proof of fair treatment, but it gives you a body to complain to. Betdex is described as licensed, and Goated and Rakebit cite an Anjouan licence, which is a lighter regime than many players assume. On-chain apps like Overtime and Suigar rely on smart contracts instead, which shifts the risk from a company to code.

KYC matters next. Non-custodial, wallet-only apps such as Overtime claim no KYC, while custodial casinos can ask for identity checks, often at withdrawal. Never use a way around age or identity checks.

Then look at withdrawals: supported networks, minimums, processing times and any limits. Reported complaints are a warning sign, as with Rakebit.

Finally, compare the product itself:

  • Games: Flush lists over 5,000, Goated over 1,200, Suigar focuses on provably fair games like Plinko and Limbo.
  • Sports and prediction markets: sx Bet, Betdex, PRED, Alpha Arcade and XO Market use exchange or market models.
  • Rewards: capped systems such as Spartans' CashRake, or token-linked perks such as $METAWIN.

Always read the bonus terms, especially wagering requirements.

The ranking: top six

These entries lead the table on our score. None of the scores is a promise of safety, and USDC support should be verified for each.

  1. Betdex (7.4) is a licensed, non-custodial peer-to-peer sports exchange on Solana where you back and lay odds, funded with USDC. It is the clearest USDC fit on the list.
  2. Duckdice (7.0) is a crypto casino built around its Original Dice game, with slots, live casino, crash and sports betting. No chain is listed in our data.
  3. sx Bet (7.0) is a peer-to-peer sports betting exchange settling on SX Network and Arbitrum, aimed at wallet-savvy bettors.
  4. Overtime (6.8) is a non-custodial on-chain sportsbook across six networks, with wallet-only access and no KYC claimed. Its TVL was about $1.3 million at the time of writing, the largest on this page.
  5. Goated (6.8) is a Solana-based casino and sportsbook with 1,200+ games, provably fair Originals and an Anjouan licence.
  6. Stake.us (6.6) is a sweepstakes social casino for eligible US adults, using Stake Cash promotions. It is a different model from a standard USDC cashier, so read its rules closely.

The ranking: the rest of the table

The lower half of the table is more mixed, and it includes the entries with the most caveats.

  1. XO Market (6.4) is a prediction market protocol where users create and trade Yes/No markets in USDC.e, settled by an AI oracle on a Celestia-based rollup. Oracle-settled markets add resolution risk.
  2. Flush (6.3) offers over 5,000 games, provably fair Originals and nine supported coins, aimed at crypto-first players.
  3. Metawin (6.3) is a casino and prize platform on Ethereum with wallet login, slots and table games, tied to the MetaWinners community and its $METAWIN token.
  4. Suigar (6.0) is a provably fair on-chain casino on Sui with Coinflip, Plinko, Limbo and Keno, backed by its SweetHouse bankroll protocol. Its TVL was about $172,000 at the time of writing.
  5. Alpha Arcade (5.8) is an Algorand prediction market on sports, politics and crypto, with trading fees going to ALPHA holders. TVL was about $183,000.
  6. PRED (5.8) is a peer-to-peer sports prediction exchange on Base with an onchain order book. TVL was about $87,000.
  7. Spartans (5.8) is a crypto-first casino and sportsbook with a large game library and a capped CashRake rewards system.
  8. Rakebit (4.5) launched in 2024 under an Anjouan licence and has reported withdrawal complaints, which explains its last-place score.

Risks to weigh before you deposit

Smart contract risk applies to every on-chain app. Bugs, oracle errors or a failed bridge can lock or drain funds, and small TVL, like the sub-$200,000 figures for Suigar, Alpha Arcade and PRED, means shallow liquidity and fewer people watching the code.

Counterparty risk applies to custodial casinos. When you deposit, you hold a claim on the operator, not the coins. Delays, account reviews and frozen balances are the usual complaints, so keep only what you intend to play with.

Stablecoin risk is smaller but real. USDC can briefly lose its peg, and the issuer can freeze tokens. Bridged versions such as USDC.e add bridge risk.

Regulatory risk differs by place. Some jurisdictions restrict crypto gambling, sportsbooks or prediction markets, and a casino can block your region. Do not try to work around geo-blocks, age limits or KYC. Doing so can breach the rules and put your funds at risk.

Gambling is for adults only: 18 or older, or 21 or older where required. Set deposit limits, never chase losses and stop if it stops being fun. If gambling is causing harm, contact a local support service.

Frequently asked questions

Which casinos on this list definitely accept USDC?

Betdex is the only listed platform whose description says it is funded with USDC, and XO Market trades in USDC.e. For the rest, the data does not confirm USDC support, so check the cashier or the app's supported-asset list before you deposit.

Do USDC casinos skip KYC?

Not necessarily. Non-custodial apps such as Overtime and sx Bet are wallet-based and may not ask for identity documents, but a licensed operator or a custodial casino can request KYC, especially at withdrawal. Read the terms and expect to follow them.

Is USDC safer to gamble with than Bitcoin or Ethereum?

USDC is a stablecoin, so its price stays close to one US dollar, but it is not risk-free. The issuer, the network and the casino all carry risk, and you can still lose everything you wager. Only stake money you can afford to lose.

Which network is cheapest for USDC deposits?

Fees depend on the network you use. Larger, busier networks such as Ethereum are usually pricier per transfer than Layer 2s like Base or Arbitrum, or chains like Solana. Always send USDC on the network the casino names, because a wrong-network deposit can be lost.

Is it legal to gamble with USDC where I live?

Rules differ by country and by state, and some places restrict crypto gambling or prediction markets. You must be 18 or older, or 21 or older where the law requires it. Check your local rules and do not try to bypass geo-blocks or age checks.

Why is Rakebit ranked last?

The data lists Rakebit at 4.5, the lowest score here, and mentions reported withdrawal complaints. It operates under an Anjouan licence, which is a light-touch regime. Read recent user reports and test with a small amount before committing more.
