What Flux is
Flux (FLUX) is the cryptocurrency that runs the Flux ecosystem, a set of projects built around decentralized computing and Web3 services. The ecosystem includes a mineable proof-of-work coin, a network of user-operated computing nodes called FluxNodes, a Linux-based operating system called FluxOS, and a Flux blockchain that handles governance and asset interoperability. The project's own description also names products such as FluxAI, FluxCloud, FluxEdge, the Zelcore Wallet, the SSP multisig browser wallet and the FusionX swap aggregator.
The project says its computing network had around 11,500 nodes and more than 96,000 CPU cores, based on figures it dated to May 2025. These are the project's own dated claims rather than independently verified current numbers, and network size changes over time, so check newer sources before relying on them.
What the token is used for
According to the project description and the search summaries, FLUX has several uses. Users spend it to buy computing resources on the network, such as hosting applications, deploying Docker containers and renting GPU power on FluxEdge. It is also used to collateralize FluxNodes, which means operators lock tokens as a condition of running a node.
FLUX is used to pay transaction fees on FluxOS and on the Flux blockchain, and it rewards miners who secure the proof-of-work chain as well as operators who supply computing capacity. The token also supports on-chain governance. Whether these uses generate steady, lasting demand is not something the public data settles. Having a use case does not by itself mean a token will hold its value.
Supply and market data
Market figures are a snapshot as of 2026-11-05. At that time FLUX traded at about $0.0568, with a market capitalization of about $24.1 million, ranked 744th by market cap. The 24-hour trading volume was about $1.1 million. The price was down about 13% over seven days and about 38% over one year at the time of writing.
The circulating supply was about 423.4 million FLUX, against a total of about 423.4 million and a stated maximum of 440 million. Because the fully diluted valuation is about the same as the market cap, most of the capped supply already circulates. The price remains far below its all-time high of about $3.33, reached on 2022-01-03. Its all-time low of about $0.016 was recorded on 2021-01-12. The data available here does not confirm a launch date.
Chains and technical base
The token data does not list a host blockchain or a chain on which the token was issued, so this page makes no claims about a native chain or token standard. What is known is that FLUX uses Equihash as its consensus or hashing algorithm, which makes it a proof-of-work asset that can be mined.
The project describes its own Flux blockchain as the base for governance, economics and parallel assets that allow interoperability with other blockchains and access to DeFi. Moving value across chains depends on specific bridges or swap services, such as the FusionX aggregator the project names. Each of these carries its own technical and counterparty risk, so read the project's current documentation before moving tokens between networks.
Risks and how to store it
Holders face several risks. The price is volatile, as the recent drops show. The project depends on continued development and on the ongoing participation of miners and node operators, and a large network of independently run nodes can have technical faults. Swapping or bridging tokens adds smart contract and counterparty risk. Scammers often impersonate crypto projects with fake wallet apps, support accounts and giveaways, so verify any link or app against official project channels.
For storage, use a wallet you control, keep your recovery phrase offline and never share it with anyone. Test a small amount before sending larger sums. If you consider collateralizing a node, read the lockup terms first, since locked tokens may not be quickly available. This page is for general information and is not financial advice.
By the numbers
Flux in numbers
Flux (FLUX) is ranked #743 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $23.8M and a price of $0.0562 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($23.8M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was down 5.9% over 7 days, down 29.8% over 30 days, down 42.3% over the past year. It trades about 98% below its all-time high of $3.33, set on Jan 3, 2022.
About 423.4M FLUX are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 440M (96% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $4.58M, or 19% of its market cap: high turnover.
CoinGecko groups FLUX under AI tokens, DePIN tokens, Governance tokens.

FLUX FAQs
Is Flux a proof-of-work coin?
FLUX is listed with Equihash as its consensus or hashing algorithm and can be mined, so it is a proof-of-work asset. The project also describes a set of node operators who earn rewards for supplying computing resources. Mining and node rewards depend on network conditions and are not guaranteed.
What does collateralizing a FluxNode mean?
Collateral is an amount of FLUX an operator locks to run a FluxNode. The lock is a condition of participation in the network. Operators should check the current requirements and lockup terms in the project's documentation before committing tokens.
What is the maximum supply of FLUX?
The stated maximum supply is 440 million FLUX. As of 2026-11-05, about 423.4 million were circulating, so most of the capped supply is already in circulation according to the data used for this page.
Is FLUX a good investment?
This page does not give buy or sell advice and does not predict prices. At the time of writing the token was well below its all-time high and had fallen over the past year, which shows how volatile it can be. Consider your own risk tolerance and seek independent advice before making any decision.
Which blockchain does FLUX run on?
The token data does not list a host chain. The project describes its own Flux blockchain for governance, economics and cross-chain access, but the public data available here does not confirm which networks the token is issued on.
What is the market cap of Flux?
As of Nov 6, 2026, Flux had a market cap of about $23.8M, ranking #743 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of FLUX?
Flux's all-time high is $3.33, reached on Jan 3, 2022. Its all-time low is $0.0164 (Jan 12, 2021). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of FLUX?
As of Nov 6, 2026, about 423.4M FLUX were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 440M.
