## What is Quantoz USDQ?

Quantoz USDQ is a stablecoin designed to track the US dollar at a 1:1 rate. It is issued by Quantoz Payments BV, which is described as an Electronic Money Institution under the supervision of the Dutch Central Bank. Unlike a blockchain’s native coin, USDQ is an issuer-created token: it does not secure a network through mining or staking, and its intended value comes from its dollar peg and the issuer’s reserve arrangements.

Quantoz says USDQ is intended for trading and arbitrage liquidity in the European crypto market. That makes it a potential way to hold dollar-linked value between trades, but the peg is a target, not a guarantee that every exchange will always price one token at exactly one dollar. As of November 5, 2026, USDQ traded at about $0.999. Its market price can vary by venue and over time.

## What is USDQ used for?

USDQ is intended to give traders a dollar-denominated asset for crypto trading and arbitrage. A trader may use a stablecoin to move between crypto positions without converting back to a traditional bank deposit for every trade. USDQ may also be used to hold value on supported blockchain networks, subject to the availability of the token and trading or transfer services on the relevant platform.

These uses depend on exchanges, brokers, wallets and other services choosing to support USDQ. The issuer describes distribution through authorized primary-market brokers to crypto exchanges; that does not mean every exchange or user can access it in the same way. Check the specific platform’s terms, supported networks and fees before transferring or trading. USDQ’s stated purpose is focused on liquidity in the European crypto market, so it should not be assumed to have the same availability or acceptance as larger, more widely used stablecoins.

## Supply and supported networks

As of November 5, 2026, the reported circulating supply was about 453,994 USDQ, against a total supply of 2 million. No maximum supply is specified. These figures can change as tokens are issued or removed from circulation, so treat them as a dated snapshot rather than a fixed limit. USDQ’s price was about $0.999 on that date; stablecoin prices can still move away from their intended peg.

USDQ is reported as issued on Ethereum, Algorand, the XRP Ledger (XRPL) and Polygon. The project description specifically identifies ERC-20 USDQ on Ethereum, but does not establish that token format, transfer mechanics or availability are identical on every network. Before sending tokens, confirm that the receiving service supports USDQ on the exact network you plan to use. A transfer to an incompatible network or address may be difficult or impossible to recover. Do not assume that tokens on different networks are interchangeable through a bridge unless the issuer or a trusted service confirms the route.

## Reserves, regulation and risks

Quantoz states that circulating USDQ is backed at 102% by US dollars. The reserve is held by Stichting Quantoz, described as a bankruptcy-remote foundation, in accounts with systemically important banks and in highly liquid Treasury bonds. The foundation is described as prudentially supervised by the Dutch Central Bank. These are issuer-reported reserve and oversight details; they do not remove all financial, operational or legal risks for token holders.

Quantoz describes USDQ as designed to comply with MiCA and says its whitepaper as an Electronic Money Token was submitted to the Dutch Financial Authorities (AFM). Submission and design intent should not be treated as confirmation of every current regulatory status or as a guarantee of holder protection. Check current issuer disclosures and terms for the latest information.

USDQ can trade below or above one dollar if demand, liquidity or confidence changes. Risks can also include issuer or reserve problems, banking disruptions, exchange failure, smart-contract vulnerabilities, network outages and limits on access or redemption. Do not assume that every holder can redeem directly with the issuer or on identical terms; check eligibility and current redemption conditions before relying on that option.

## How to store USDQ

USDQ can be held in a wallet or account that supports the token on the network you intend to use. For self-custody, verify the token and network details using current information from Quantoz or the service you trust; token names and symbols can be copied by unrelated assets. Never rely on a ticker alone when choosing a token or destination address.

A self-custody wallet puts responsibility for access in your hands. Keep recovery phrases and private keys offline and private, and be wary of messages or websites asking you to disclose them. For exchange custody, review the platform’s withdrawal, deposit and custody terms, including which USDQ networks it supports. Test transfers may help reduce address or network mistakes, but fees and minimums can apply. If you lose access, send to an unsupported network, or interact with a malicious contract, recovery may not be possible. Stablecoin status does not remove these custody risks.
