What QUAI is
Quai Network describes itself as a merge-mined network of blockchains. It coordinates its chains through a consensus mechanism it calls Proof-of-Entropy-Minima (PoEM). QUAI is one of the network's two native tokens. The other is Qi. Project material describes QUAI as the scarce reserve asset and Qi as energy-denominated cash for everyday payments. A press item from February 2025 reported that QUAI had launched for trading that month. The token appears in several categories, including Layer 1, proof of work and privacy. The data supplied for this page does not say which chain or contract the token is issued on, so that point is left open here.
What the token is used for
According to project material and search summaries, QUAI is meant to act as a reserve asset within a two-token design, with Qi handling payments. Search summaries also say users can generate QUAI through mining, which fits the proof-of-work category. Public sources do not describe staking, governance votes, fee payments or any other specific use for QUAI, so this page does not claim them. Any use case beyond the reserve role and mining should be checked against the project's own documentation before you rely on it. Holding a token does not by itself mean it has a working function in an app or service.
Supply and market data
As of 2026-11-05, the data showed a price of about $0.0071 per QUAI at the time of writing. The market capitalisation was about $8.3 million, which ranked 1376th among tracked tokens. Trading volume over 24 hours was about $121,000. Circulating supply was about 1.167 billion tokens and total supply was about 1.167 billion. No maximum supply was listed. Over seven days the price was down about 1.6 percent, and over one year it was down about 70 percent. The all-time high was $0.3634 on 2025-02-23, and the all-time low was about $0.00613 on 2026-11-04. These figures change constantly and are shown only as a snapshot, not as a forecast.
Chains and network design
The project says its PoEM design can coordinate a growing number of execution shards, which are separate blockchains, without the usual contention between them. It also claims throughput above 50,000 transactions per second and block production about every 1.1 seconds. These are the project's own claims and have not been verified for this page. One search summary says the network operates on the Ethereum platform. That conflicts with the project's description of its own parent chain, so readers should treat the chain question as unresolved and check the project's technical documentation directly.
Risks and storage
The price has fallen sharply from its 2025 peak, and the market is small. Low daily volume can make it harder to buy or sell without moving the price. Proof-of-work mining involves real energy and hardware costs, and mining returns can change with network difficulty and the token price. The technical claims about throughput and scaling are not independently confirmed. Scams often copy the names of real projects, so confirm contract addresses and token details from official sources before trading. For storage, use a wallet that supports the correct network, keep recovery phrases offline and never share them, and send a small test transaction first. This page is general information, not financial advice.
By the numbers
Quai Network in numbers
Quai Network (QUAI) is ranked #1,382 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $7.89M and a price of $0.006783 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($7.89M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was down 1.6% over 7 days, down 28.5% over 30 days, down 70.7% over the past year. It trades about 98% below its all-time high of $0.3634, set on Feb 23, 2025.
About 1.16B QUAI are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.
24-hour trading volume was about $88.2K, or 1.1% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
CoinGecko groups QUAI under Layer 1 tokens.

QUAI FAQs
What is QUAI used for?
According to project material, QUAI is positioned as a reserve asset, while Qi is meant for everyday payments. Search summaries also say QUAI can be generated through mining. Other uses are not confirmed by the data supplied for this page.
Is there a maximum supply for QUAI?
Public information shows no maximum supply, and circulating and total supply were both about 1.167 billion tokens as of 2026-11-05. Future issuance rules should be checked in the project's own documentation.
Can you mine QUAI?
Search summaries say QUAI can be generated through mining, consistent with the network's proof-of-work design. Mining returns depend on hardware, energy costs, network competition and the token price, so results can vary widely.
What is the difference between QUAI and Qi?
QUAI is described as the scarce reserve asset, and Qi is described as energy-denominated cash intended for payments. Both are native tokens of Quai Network, but they are designed for different roles.
Is QUAI a good investment?
This page does not give investment advice. The data shows a steep fall in price over the past year and a small market capitalisation, and prices can move sharply in either direction. Readers should do their own research and only commit what they can afford to lose.
What is the market cap of Quai Network?
As of Nov 6, 2026, Quai Network had a market cap of about $7.89M, ranking #1,382 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of QUAI?
Quai Network's all-time high is $0.3634, reached on Feb 23, 2025. Its all-time low is $0.006127 (Nov 4, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of QUAI?
As of Nov 6, 2026, about 1.16B QUAI were in circulation; no fixed maximum supply is listed.
