## What Is Haedal Protocol?

What Is Haedal Protocol?

Haedal Protocol is a liquid staking service on the Sui blockchain. Users stake SUI through the protocol and receive haSUI, a token representing their staked position. The aim is to let users keep a liquid asset for use in Sui decentralized finance while their SUI is staked. Staking SUI through Haedal is different from buying or holding HAEDAL: haSUI is the liquid staking token, while HAEDAL is the protocol’s token.

Liquid staking does not make the underlying SUI risk-free or guarantee a particular return. The value and usability of haSUI can depend on protocol operations, market demand and support from other applications. HAEDAL is not itself a receipt for staked SUI, and holding it does not by itself mean you are staking SUI through Haedal.

## What Is HAEDAL Used For?

What Is HAEDAL Used For?

HAEDAL is associated with Haedal Protocol governance. Public descriptions of the token also describe locking HAEDAL to receive veHAEDAL, a voting-style token used for governance and reward distribution. The exact terms and benefits of locking can depend on the protocol’s current rules, so check the live protocol interface and documentation before committing tokens.

The protocol’s liquid staking function is based on staking SUI and receiving haSUI; HAEDAL is not the token users receive in exchange for staking SUI. Do not assume that holding HAEDAL guarantees protocol rewards, voting power or a share of fees. Those rights depend on the protocol’s implementation and any applicable lock-up conditions. As with other governance tokens, the practical influence of a holder can also depend on participation by other token holders.

## HAEDAL Supply and Market Snapshot

HAEDAL Supply and Market Snapshot

HAEDAL has a maximum and total supply of 1 billion tokens. About 195 million were circulating as of 2026-11-05, or roughly 19.5% of the maximum supply. The difference between circulating and total supply means that additional tokens may enter circulation over time, depending on the project’s distribution and release schedule.

As of 2026-11-05, HAEDAL’s price was about $0.025, its market capitalization was about $4.9 million and its fully diluted valuation was about $25.2 million. Reported 24-hour trading volume was about $9.4 million. These are time-sensitive market figures, not fixed features of the token, and they can change quickly. Market capitalization is based on circulating tokens; fully diluted valuation estimates the value if the full stated supply were counted at the same price. Neither figure indicates what the token will be worth in the future.

## Chains, Risks and Storage

Chains, Risks and Storage

HAEDAL is issued on Sui and BNB Chain. Public sources do not establish that it is native to either chain, so check the network and token details carefully before sending or receiving it. A token on one network may not be interchangeable with a similarly named asset on another, and moving assets between networks can involve additional bridge or contract risks.

Risks include HAEDAL’s price volatility, changes to token distribution, governance decisions, smart-contract vulnerabilities and interruptions or problems affecting the protocol. haSUI also has risks distinct from HAEDAL, including whether it can be used or exchanged as expected. To store HAEDAL, use a wallet that supports the relevant network, protect your recovery phrase and verify the network and token identity before signing transactions. Never share your recovery phrase or private keys. Self-custody avoids relying on a third-party custodian but puts responsibility for access and security on you.

HAEDAL is the protocol token, while haSUI is the liquid staking token received when staking SUI through Haedal. They have different purposes and should not be treated as interchangeable.

What is HAEDAL used for?

Public descriptions associate HAEDAL with governance and describe locking it to receive veHAEDAL. The protocol’s current rules determine how that mechanism works and whether it provides any particular benefits.

What is the supply of HAEDAL?

The stated total and maximum supply is 1 billion HAEDAL. About 195 million were circulating as of 2026-11-05; circulating supply can change as tokens are released.

Which blockchains support HAEDAL?

HAEDAL is issued on Sui and BNB Chain. Confirm the network and token identity in your wallet before sending it, since assets on different networks may not be interchangeable.

How can I store HAEDAL?

A compatible wallet can hold HAEDAL on its relevant network. Protect your recovery phrase and verify the network and token details before approving a transfer or other transaction.
